Chelsea and her staff are awesome. We had an issue with our IRS return during Covid. We had moved twice and the IRS mail did not reach us. Chelsea contacted a tax advocate in Senator Morgan’s office. Everything has been satisfactory
resolved. A huge thank you to Taxesplus, Chelsea and staff and Senator Morgan’s staff.

They educate themselves on new tax laws and incentives with a desire to use this knowledge to the benefit of the client, always sending updates and recommendations. When we first met the team at TaxesPlus, we were multiple years behind in accounting and tax filings for our business due to the other CPA firm abandoning us despite taking our money each month. Fast forward 8 years later, TaxesPlus handles everything for our business and we never even file an extension. They are proactive with tax advice, easy to communicate with, and have been a great financial partner in our business. I now sleep better knowing that side of the business is in good hands.

We posted another review on here last week due to Chelsea's unprofessional tactics as an accountant. She dropped us as we were going through an IRS internet audit. Mainly because it was a busy tax time and she had corporate deadlines. You don't want to be dropped, it wasn't our fault. Chelsea charged us $250 to do an IRS letter back to them regarding our taxes being correct for 2021 that she did for us, after we paid them last year for our 2021 taxes $850. $1100 dollars you would think they'd have some compassion for us on an IRS bill of $17,000+. So we find a new great CPA that reviewed all our taxes and said she's not a CPA and really didn't understand what to do or taxes plus doesn't have CPA's and they don't guarantee their work. Chelsea never even filed a Colorado return the last 2 years for income I receive from the state after we asked her in 2020 that we thought she should, her response was it wasn't necessary. We sent her an excel spreadsheet for our medical expenses that we have receipts for $18,000+ and Chelsea revised the spreadsheet to only include $7,002. Who does this when you're working with the IRS. Our new CPA and ourselves can not understand her methods. Chelsea made the response back to the IRS more complicated than it should have been . It was just a conversion we did from a 401k to a Roth with a rollover that was done correctly! Please be careful when trusting your taxes with Chelsea or Taxes Plus!!!

It is my pleasure to give Taxes Plus a 5- star rating, they are worth every one.I have been usingTaxes Plus for my tax preparation , payroll and they even helped me through the uncertainty of closing a business. I never worry with Taxes Plus doing my taxes and more. They are always fair, knowledgeable,straightforward and honest. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting. We have used taxes plus since 2020 and everything has been great until last week. We received a letter from the IRS requesting $17,000 due to someone at the IRS didn’t understand a conversion we did from a 401k to an IRA and flagged it. This was an error with the IRS not Taxes Plus. We’ve experienced a very difficult and not user friendly app that Taxes Plus require clients to use now…Liscio. We’re not technical at all and experienced a lot of issues uploading & downloading documents. However, we finally were able to get it done. You want a tax accountant that will assist you every step of the way if there is an issue that arises when they file your taxes. Unfortunately, our experience with Taxes Plus they didn’t want to assist or were too busy with corporate clients and decided they wouldn’t follow through. On several occasions Chelsea told us she was busy due to it being tax season and that she had a deadline with a corporate client. We live 30 minutes away and I’ve been very ill, I had an infusion yesterday with my oncologist and it leaves me very sick. I’ve explained this to Chelsea several times and asked her to be patient with us. However, due to what they’ve had to do to respond back with attachments to the IRS, they told us today they no longer want to work with us. No real explanation as to why. We even had to pay them for this service ahead of time. It’s a mess and I guess it’s easier for them to drop us. Extremely sad that Chelsea doesn’t have any compassion for her clients when it gets tough. ?

Let me start with saying this ... my boyfriend, NOT husband, did his taxes here for 4 years and even tho he was paying a lot money for this in a simple tax filing . We we're happy because never have a problem . This year I dont know who are the people who are running that office but we decided to not do the taxes with them , because one lady called she told my boyfriend that she needed my total income for her to be able to file his taxes ,he explained to her that we were not legally married and that I filed separately and that he is on file as single household , but she insisted that she needed to know how much I made last year , witch to me is crazy , so he told her to cancel everything and that he won't be filing with them . So don't trust this office with your taxes when they don't don't something so simple like this .

These people filed a number of false 1099s on me. The IRS of course wants their money for taxes on over $10,000 dollars in income that I did not receive. They won't even respond. I don't know what kind of scam they are running but they are not to be trusted.

Total scam artists. Filed pages of fake 1099s and refused to do anything to resolve the issue. I don't know what kind of money laundering scheme they are running but stay away!!
