Maintenance was very polite and attentive to all points made. They need a raise. The apartment itself is nice for the most part except for a few hiccups.

DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!!!!!! This apartment looked great on line staff was nice over the phone and during the staged apartment tour. But then my move in date came and the apartment was gross, bugs, dirt everywhere the lights were filled with bugs there were huge gashes in my floor my roommates carpet was matted and sticky all over the room, just simply gross. They say maintenance will notify you at least a week before coming in if you put in a maintenance request unless it’s an emergency but they lied many time maintenance would knock once then enter without telling me my roommate had a dog and maintenance tried to enter our apartment without telling us and almost got bit by the dog and I went to the front office and talked to the property manager and we were told that we needed to simply keep the dog locked up at all times, ( I laughed in there face ) the staff takes weeks to answer emails so calling or just going to the front desk is the best thing to do sometimes they do there job other times they look at you like your dumb and expect you to deal with the problem. All bills are included in your rent and they say we each are supposed to pay 40 dollars a month for electricity I can’t remember exactly but close to that, but every money we got an over charge of 50 dollar or more, knowing I didn’t go over. As well as the locks on all the door are digital you don’t have a key or a code you unlock your door with an app which if fine only if they actually worked all the time but they only work when they want to I asked I don’t know how many times for my front door lock to be fixed because some times it wouldn’t even lock properly, and maintenance came to look at it once and told me that it’s wasn’t enough to fix knowing it wouldn’t even LOCK properly shit is crazy, they also make you pay 10 dollars each for trash a month, crazy thing is your basically paying them just to be forced to take your own trash all the way to the dumpster because the trash people don’t take it if it’s too heavy or not in your trash can. I’m totally fine with taking my own trash out but if I’m paying every month for it to be done I expect it to be taken and not a note left on my door and my trash left on the ground. I’m sure I can go on and say more about these shitty apartments but I will save you all. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND THESE APARTMENTS.

Ratings that include electricity overages is true. It’s ridiculous the amount per person it is and they’ll also bill you for two months on one month’s rent. Mine was $80 for January and February. Valet trash is mandatory per resident which is a $10 fee per month. This place has honestly gone downhill throughout the 4 years I’ve lived here. If you have a pet, you won’t be able to leave them at the complex because of the limitation they have for the app that unlocks the doors. You won’t even be able to use a sitter or someone you can trust because the app is directly on your phone only. Although affordable, it’s not worth the headache.

I had put in a maintenance request about my sink spilling water from the base. They came and fixed it while I was at work, but threw everything under my sink onto the floor, counter and into the sink. They also left another sink outside of my apartment? Glad they fixed the sink, but was incredibly frustrated about all of my things being thrown on the ground with no attempt to put them back.

The electricity overages every month are out of hand. Even if you live economically there's still always overages. The doors to the apartments don't seal so cold air is always coming in driving the heating bill through the roof. The WiFi is very weak/slow and doesn't work with certain applications like Spotify and WhatsApp video calling. Majority of residents are students yet the office is only open when everyone is on campus.
The gym is never cleaned, swept dusted or mopped and properly wiped down, the bins aren't changed as frequently as they should so they re always overflowing and there's thick layers of dust on the treadmills, the floor is full of dirt as well.
I've called several times requesting them to clean the gym but I don't think theres even a cleaning service that is used for the premises. The apartment locks were upgraded but are inconvenient as the can only be unlocked using an app on your phone, there is no override pin you can use, therefore if your phone is stolen or if your battery dies you will be locked out of your home until the office opens the next business day at 10am. My experience does not leave me satisfied at all and if no improvements are made I would not be recommending 2909 to anyone.

So far I have no complaints. The apartment is pretty big, lots of space, which makes it more convenient and comfortable when there’s multiple people living in them. I will say that I’m not sure how much we can hear one another from our rooms, which could create room for some uncomfortable situations. There’s lots of closet space, which I enjoy and I’m thankful for. I think the only other thing too, is I wish everything was not online. I think having other options for payment is important rather than relying on technology.
