I called spay & Neuter 6 months ago and followed the instructions on the voice mail ,no response at all.so I have called back and we're going on week one with no call back,I can understand that the work load can be overwhelming and the funding could be limited, why won't you try asking for volunteer workers to help with the phone lines instead of just having the public think you have blown them off and being lazy and not doing call backs.

We had kittens spayed/neutered, chipped& vaccinated a year ago at $60per kitty with no problem. But recently: the woman over the phone told my 67 year old mom that mom needs to bring in a W2(mom is on social security, no W2)&a letter from her landlors(Why?) Also the woman over the phone said the price is $75 for just neuter (the website said $30). I'd appreciate you being nicer to my mom for the amount of money you're asking for. Thanks.

I would not recommend this place to anyone who has an animal. We had received a call telling us over the phone that they had found our lost dogs. The lady over the phone was absolutely rude and extremely unprofessional. She called us in a panic saying one of dogs wasn’t going to make it. We had to break the news to our 5 year old daughter, that my fiancé and I were going to rush over to spay and neuter place to pick up our lost dogs (preparing for the worst.) We had arrived and both of our dogs were completely fine, jumping and playing around as soon as they saw us! The lady asked me and my fiancé’ for our driver’s license and asked where we lived. We had told her we had just moved into the area and that the addresses on our driver’s license weren’t up to date (with us being in the process of moving) she asked if we were related and I had said no, while my fiancé spoke up and told her we were not related whatsoever and engaged. She flat out said to our faces that we were “making up stories” and had a face of disgust when she noticed our tattooed wedding bands. She was honestly one of the rudest people and nearly had my fiancé and 5 year old daughter in a complete panic, thinking we were going to have to bury one of our dogs. I have never dealt with anyone like that before and she has no consideration of others. This place is by far the worst place I’ve dealt with, especially the white short- haired lady at the front desk. I hope they do hire a new employee to better their business. It was just shameful on their end to have people like that disrespect you and say rude and absurd things after you get a call saying that your dog was going to die.

My friend's dog went to Spay & Neuter for a spay. The vet noticed something wrong with the dog, so they ordered testing. Test confirmed a very aggressive inoperable throat cancer. My friend was very sad and Spay & Neuter Kansas was there for her every step. They even reimbursed the money she had paid. Way to go Spay & Neuter Kansas! I highly recommend.

The lack of professionalism is rank. I tried to make an appointment for my stray kitties. Due to not being from Kansas, I originally have been going to PetSmart for the initial shots and check-ups. It's a company I recognized, and at the very least trusted due to my great aunt being a vet and used them in the past . They have a payment plan that I had to get on as $56 the first visit, then 26 a month for a year is/was a lot more feesable than $200 every visit I made. They referred me to here, as their entire purpose (supposedly) is to help low income. I have 0 issue providing the necessary paperwork that I am low income, however over the phone Ellen met me with nothing but side remarks and judgement. The only thing that should be asked of is the proper paper work, which I offered several times and was able to pull up on the phone call. She told me that she didn't want me taking resources from someone who needs it just because "I was able to get the cats care at PetSmart". Her overall attitude was rude, and I ended up calling back to cancel the appointment because I would rather financially struggle and miss out on a few groceries than feel unwelcomed, judged, and like my kitties won't be handled properly. When I called to cancel, she tried to pin the blame on me "not wanting to prove my financial situation", and I very much clarified to her that SHE was the problem. My cats will not be taken somewhere with a lack of basic compassion.

My grandpup became suddenly ill, and we had no idea why. We thought she had a UTI. An emergency appointment found that she actually had Pyometra. A condition where the uterus gets infected and inflamed. It is due to not being spayed and never having puppies. We had no idea such a condition even existed! Why don't vets ever warn their clients that this is a thing?? The only option to save my grandpups life was an emergency surgery to remove her uterus and clean her insides out. My daughter had no idea how she could possibly afford the thousands of dollars it would take to pay for this procedure. Without it, there was zero chance grandpup would survive. My daughter accidentally came across a social media post where Spay & Neuter Kansas Inc had saved the life of another dog with the same condition for A LOT less money. They did so much for her, most importantly the life-saving surgery!! The pre care and after care was top notch too! I cannot say enough about all they did for to save my precious grandchildren's beloved doggy. Thank you so much, Spay & Neuter Kansas Inc!!

They saved my Sabrina's life she was about to die with pyro in her uterous. It was crushing her insides. Please spay your female dogs to keep them from getting this deadly disease. I don't know what we would of done without you we could not afford $900.00 at your regular vet. Kathy Southworth.

I am low income, I had an emergency with my Esa animal, Persian cat named Galaxy. They offered eol services since we thought it was kidney failure. He was very ill. I was devastated, I sat in the lobby and wailed for the loss of my beloved 10 year old cat who I helped deliver when he was born. I swore to myself I wouldn't let him suffer. We got called in back and a guy came back to get my and Galaxys info. Long story short he saved my cats life and his advice helped us get the necessary medication he needed to heal. Due to the breed (Persian Himalayan) they are known to have kidney issues, so that's what I thought. But right now he is okay. I can't even begin to thank the man who helped us. Thank you for saving my ESAs life. Idk what I would have done if I lost him. Thank you thank you thank you!!!!!!!!!

They're there to help people if they don't have a lot of money but want & need to get your pets fixed. They're very friendly & caring. Great with your pets. They also give rabie shots, & other vaccines. If you have a Pit Bull dog, they will do a micro chip. I've taken all my pets I've ever had there. I'm very grateful for this place & the people. They do it for reasonable price.

Attn !!! The unprovoked and rude person is Ellen. She runs PALS too. Her staff apologizes saying "Ellen doesn't like anybody". Just now she called me to say take MY animal somewhere else, I would get a PARTIAL refund. I noticed THEY missed doing the surgery on 1 of my 2 same day brothers. ALSO Ellen called MY phone and forgot to hit end. I listened her bashing me, said I am crazy more so than OTHERS that come. I still have that phone with that voice-mail.

I’m not quite sure why there are so many bad reviews (mainly with dogs) but I had a pleasant experience, it was fairly easy to get both my cats in to be fixed. Keep in mind it is for low income households, as long as you’re straight forward they will be to.

Lady looked up my house and called me a liar for my income even stating I would provide income verification and telling her I’m on financial assistance. Rude reception and I will personally be making calls and telling people about this.
