We were brought to Bardstown Bourbon Company while on our Kentucky Bourbon Boys tour. Bardstown was absolutely beautiful. We went for barrel tasting and lunch. The food was delicious and service was impeccable. We had so much fun.

My husband and I did the tasting experience and had a fantastic experience. Our tasting guide was Vince and he is very knowledgeable of the product and process to make this special blend of bourbon. This is a young bourbon distillery and we will for sure be back for a distillery tour and to try the restaurant!
The Bardstown old fashion was the best way to start our day of tastings!

Vince was our tour guide and was a wealth of knowledge to go with his sense of humor. The four of us had a blast touring the entire grounds of this growing distillery. The facilities are brand new and immaculate. The outdoor seating area is a perfect place to relax, sip a little of KY's finest and snack on some delicious food.
After our tour, we decided to stay for lunch and it was a good decision. The menu had a little bit of everything you could ask for. I highly recommend Bardstown for a place to visit, eat, drink and be merry.

BBC is styling their place as the Napa valley of Bourbon. For the most part they pull it off, the distillery is all glass, steel and concrete and very sleek. The fire pits and couches outside make for a nice place to enjoy a cocktail while you wait for your table.
Their bourbon prices reflect their upscale vibe. With the cheapest bourbon costing $53 and the most expensive will cost you over $200 for a bottle.
I had the old fashioned with one of their house bourbons and it was spectacular. My wife had the Rickhouse Spritz and it was also very good.
For dinner we started with the house salad and Brussel sprouts for starters. The Brussels are out of this world yummy and a must have. We split a house salad which was huge. For the main course my wife had the salmon and I had the Filet. Salmon was great, my steak however came out undercooked and my sides were cold. They comped my steak and apologized. All in all great upscale meal in bourbon country where the food trends to the down home country style.

Awsome tour. Great explanation of what they sell and how they are making various products for other companies while their Bourbon ages. I'm sure they will be taking even more business from MGP.
When you go be sure to try the old-fashioned that is barrel-aged it will change your life. However the Manhattan is even better.

Different concept from other distilleries. Nice to taste bourbon at different stages before it is fully mature.
If the restaurant was open would have considered eating there.

I ordered the fried chicken sandwich and it was delicious. My husband ordered the club and the bacon was especially good. We also had the Bees in the Trees cocktail and really enjoyed it. Every employee we came into contact with were very nice and helpful. Definitely would recommend this place.

We did the Honey Spot Barrel Thieving Experience. I have done many tours and tastings. This is by far, my favorite tasting experience. we got to try three whiskeys, right out of the barrel. They all tasted good. Our tour guide Valarie was awesome. She made us feel right at home and you could tell she loved her job and who she worked for. The visitor center was beautiful. They have a nice restaurant, we did not eat there, but the food at the tables looked delicious. They have a huge bourbon library and bar. We did have a tasty Old Fashion at the bar. This is a must, if you are on the Bourbon Trail.

We took the Shaken & Stirred class with Samantha and had a wonderful time. The class was hosted in an adorable bar that overlooked a barrel room where you could take pictures after the class. Samantha was very informative and we enjoyed making the Kentucky Mule and Sazerac. The class was small and socially distanced so we felt very safe the entire time. There was even a surprise engagement at the end which made it particularly memorable !

Bardstown Distillery is a must stop on the Bourbon Trail. Great tasting experience. Enjoyed Discovery Series 3 so much we had to purchase 2 bottles!

An amazing experience from beginning to end! Absolutely Delicious food, unbelievable mixologists, and an incredible tour! I would highly recommend making a trip to come see the amazing people and Bardstown Bourbon Company!

Excellent tour. Tour guide was great and vary passionate about bourbon.

We had a very nice brunch and tour of their facility. It has a more contemporary elegance than a traditional distillery such as Buffalo Trace. I definitely recommend as a change of pace on the bourbon trail. Nice beveridge's too.

Service denied because of waiting time.Walk in to the restaurant, they claim there is a waiting time of 1:30 hr a couple 5 minutes later got a table no questions asked.Pretty interesting because all people inside where white, my dress code was casual, jeans polos pretty similar as the rest. After all KY is for white people my guess

Best bourbon distillery experience. Big open entry, with restaurant, large bar, gift shop, and tours. Beautiful property. Modern with a classic bourbon country feel.
I highly recommend fitting this into any bourbon trail trip. Stay in Bardstown and spend time here and eat. They have excellent food.
Heck, I sound like I own the place. I wish I did. After sampling their bourbon, I bought a few cases. Oddly that is a rare thing that most distillers do not allow. Most limit you to 4-6 bottles. A strange frustrating, and upsetting phenomenon along the bourbon trail. Thankfully these guys want you to take their bourbon home.

A highlight of our bourbon trail touring/tasting. Such an amazing tour and information with some really I interesting and quality bourbons and whiskeys. I really love their business model and transparency as well as what they are producing. On top of all that, we ate at their restaurant for lunch afterwards which was INCREDIBLE. highly suggest everything out of this place.

It was a great experience. The facility is beautiful, and we would like to come back sometime and have lunch there. I am a bourbon novice and Vince taught me a lot about mash bills and the entire process. We really enjoyed the tour and tastings, and hope to visit again sometime. Can't wait to open the bottle of Fusion #2 that we picked up after our tour.

Well worth checking out. Tour was great, bourbon was very good, and the Wagu burger was outstanding!

Val is a terrific guide. This was my 5th visit to this place and it just keeps getting better. Food is on point, bourbon is fab and the educational experience is worth a trip to this place!

We did the Honey Thieve tour and bought a couple of the add on flights! If booking online just book the tour, you can add the flights when you arrive. It was not a big deal but the online site is a tad confusing. Now for the tour - I can recommend it enough. Drinking bourbon straight from the barrel in the center of warehouse 1 was way awesome. Our tour guide Brian was excellent, very energetic and knowledgeable! Finally we had a early dinner in the restaurant, another wonderful experience!

Very well be the most beautiful distillery I've seen yet. After a long weekend of seeing different places I finished here and boy did I save the best for last. Brian our tour guide was super knowledgeable and animated when it comes to his bourbon! Can't wait to take my friends back this year!! Long live Bardstown!!!

I was hungry and forgot to take a picture before I started eating, but don't let that detract.... This is possibly the best chicken sandwich I've ever eaten! Lightly breaded and cooked to perfection this comes with a pimento cheese spread and lettuce and I asked for a side of the homemade hot sauce. The atmosphere here is also fantastic. Their whiskey was expensive and I did not try it so I can't speak on it. The food is will worth the trip though!

First time coming here to try on our way to Makers Mark. When we checked in, she asked if we had a reservation and seemed annoyed that we didn’t. 4 open tables inside and was told we could only sit outside. Was sat at only the only table without and umbrella. The same inside tables were still available when we left. Food took over 40 minutes after we ordered. Staff not incredibly friendly. Food was good, but probably wouldn’t return.

I asked for a recommendation between a few items from our server. She recommended the chicken sandwich and it did not disappoint. The fried chicken was cooked perfectly - nice and juicy. The pimento sauce add just the right tang and sweet. The homemade fries topped off the meal. It definitely was not a healthy choice but was pure comfort food. The ambience inside the restaurant was bright and airy. We sat outside, which wasn't the best idea due to the sweat bees dive bombing my husband.

Our tour guide Dan was amazing! He made us feel like we got to experience a lot of behind the scenes aspects of the distillery that many other tours do not offer. He was the chillest tour guide I've had on the bourbon trail. Being able to thieve a barrel and get a complimentary glass at the end of the tour really made it feel so special to us, as many other distilleries do not offer these perks. I've already recommended this tour to many others as a result of the exceptional tour that Dan provided. Bardstown Bourbon Company is a newer distillery (established 2016), but does a great job of incorporating modern, contemporary aspects into its architecture and grounds making it feel a little bougie. It embraces how new it is to the bourbon trail and doesn't try to emulate the older distilleries with rich histories.

I've toured many distilleries. While this one is young and doesn't have some of the things the more established ones do, it is very modern, swanky, nice atmosphere. They are innovative and competitive with their products in a market dominated by "age". Even the tour video was well done, the best visual representation of how bourbon is made that I've seen. And our guide Vince was great, very personable and knowledgeable.

Sam was the best at the Shake & Stirred cocktail class!! She was extremely educated and fun to learn from!!! We would come back again if she was leading any other classes at Bardstown Bourbon! We will recommend this, and to ask for Sam, to all of our friends!!!

So great! Had an amazing lunch before a distillery tour. The food and drinks were so good! The tour was interesting and very informative. Would highly recommend both or either depending on the time you have available.

Elegant but relaxed surroundings provided the perfect atmosphere and ambience. Our guide, Leslie was extremely knowledgeable about the products and the distillation process. I was surprised and impressed that in the tasting we were able to try the wheated mashbill, which I thoroughly enjoyed, and was a little disappointed that it wasn't available for purchase. However, the wide and varied range of spirits that were for sale made me quickly forget about it. It was amazing to see Leslie use her super strength to open the barrel so that we could taste the amazing goodness that it kept secure. That was definitely unique. The entire team was extremely focused on keeping everyone safe from possible Covid19 contamination, by adhering to the recommended social distancing and wearing of masks during the tour, and in the bar and lounge areas as well. Trying the flight after the tour and having Leslie explain the different nuances of the different casking methods and the resulting flavors really capped it off. Luckily for us, that wasn't the end. We were able to meet the President, Mark, while enjoying a couple delicious old fashioneds at the bar. Overall an incredible and eventful experience not soon to be forgotten. My only regret is that the kitchen was not currently open due to the pandemic when I visited, but it should be opening shortly. And it may warrant a return visit if their food is as incredible as their staff, Bourbons, and tour are.
