Lots of teenagers boggling down machines during weekday evenings (I have ask them to move along to get to a machine)Bball gym used for non-bball activities during prime time on weekends when non-bball activities can be done in activities rooms (often see 7 or 8 bball users told to leave to make room for non-bball activities that have 3 or 4 people who participate)Constant garbage at entry (can't someone go out and sweep some)Couple of billing errors - Y does not track its billing as it is up to the member to bring proof of the error vs the Y having a system that functions more easily.Location is nice and non-director staff is friendly - lots of directors, certainly a top heavy organization that could use a restructure, especially given there is some sort of capital drive going? Lexington Ys (I lived there) are operated much better - should model this one after those.I think most folks have low expectations these days so if an organization is just ok, it is deemed fabulous.Overall, for the money and my expectations - 1 star.Good luck!

Finding the YMCA has been the best thing that has happened for me and my family in a really long time. I've been able to put focus towards my physical health, make great friendships, work at a place without having to worry about childcare, enroll my son into a sport he loves, give my children swim lessons to teach them knowledge that will last them a lifetime, the sauna - amazing weight room - fitness classes of all sorts - and so forth are all just additional benefits. The possibilities are endless with the Y in our lives. Being an employee as well, just adds so many positives to being a member and I am so grateful. Definitely a value that has no price tag with all you are able to accomplish in one place.

Smart and competent lifeguards who do their jobs.Everybody’s nice. The pool is a little shallow, but the faculties are great.

This gym is always clean, and they always have fresh towels and cleaner to use when you go to the machines. It is always a pleasant, cool temperature inside, and there is a nice variety of workout classes. The classes have a variety of intensities, and the instructors are usually friendly and welcoming. They are also conscious of different fitness levels. This Y is usually not extremely busy, so I am able to use all of the machines that I want to use. There is a nice hiking trail in the woods that I have been on several times. Just watch out for ticks! They have decent hours, and the complimentary coffee in the morning is a nice touch.

Super friendly staff, very helpful in what I needed. Lots of options for kids and adults. Great pool and locker rooms!
