Rooms: The rooms are clean and comfortable , nothing fancy
but perfect for a golf outing .
Walkability: access to the carts and pro shop and restaurant was easy.
Food and drinks: The Restaurant was awesome and the staff was very nice and friendly.

Course was fun though the green were punched and sanded. It was off-season so the restaurant wasn't open. Seemed like a great place to come for a group golf outing.

I'm not sure this location can be beat, we spent three days here and not once did we leave. In total we played two rounds of golf everyday, had an incredible time hanging out at the villa.
The meals in the restaurant were beyond expectation! After our first dinner, each of us were looking forward to the meal after.
The staff here are incredibly friendly and helpful, and ready to do whatever they need to go above and beyond.
Rooms: The rooms could use updating, but that's part of the charm. You're not there to stay in your room you're there to have a good time with your friends and play golf!
Safety: Felton incredibly safety entire time, trusted carts with bags outside while eating and in the pro shop for extended periods. Car was untouched for three consecutive days no issues.
Food and drinks: You're not going to want to leave, every meal is better than the last! Highly recommend the buffet for breakfast and dinner everyday.
Noteworthy details: Lit up par 3 course is a great addition to have some fun, while warming up or cooling down

Just returned home from 4 night visit. Everything was top notch from the room to the workers and their hospitality. It was kind of wet but everyone was very accommodating and sincere. I totally enjoyed my visit. I will definitely be back. Thank you 😊

Black mold on the ceiling in one of the rooms, staff was cutting the grass after huge rain storms which caused huge ruts in the fairways. Love our time here, can't wait to come back. Great course and accommodations otherwise!!

My friends use this place every year for a 20 man Friday - Sunday golf trip. This was my first time going.
If you are looking for a 5 star resort this isn’t it. If you are looking for a golf course with a hotel that has clean rooms, a pool, and a restaurant where the staff is awesome and the food is good then this is it.
We parked the car on Friday and never went back the entire weekend. The first tee was about 30 yards from our room. We brought our own burgers and dogs so we could grill late night on the propane grills they had there for us.
They don’t sell beer/alcohol on the course but they have no problem with you bringing your own. There is no halfway house and the tenth whole is not close to the clubhouse so load a cooler up with enough drinks and strap it to your cart and then go have a blast.
The course is short. It was very dry and the fairways were hard. The greens were watered and you could stick a good wedge shot. I did feel like the greens could have used a cut as they felt pretty shaggy. There are NO flat areas on this course except the tee boxes so be ready for uneven lies on every shot.
They have GPS on the carts.
It was a fun trip. I shall return.

Its an amazing place. We have been going here for years. The food is amazing always. Hotel is older but year clean and well maintained. The golf course is beautiful and well maintained.
Food and drinks: The food is some of the best food I have ever eaten in my 53 years.

We have been to this place several years in a row. The last time we stay and played 4 sets of golf clubs were stolen from our room along with serial drivers and woods. Owner reassure us he would make it right. He dipped out the very next day. Would not recommend to anybody.
Safety: All of our stuff was stolen from our room

We will be there for our yearly trip in 2 weeks. We have have been communicating with the resort for months now and have never been treated better.
I did see that a person did a 1 star review on the place a couple of months ago. I looked at his other reviews and from his experiences at 90% of the places he has been, he probably should never leave the house.

My boyfriend stayed here for a long weekend, with some friends to play golf. He drove from MI, but he really had a great time, and enjoyed everything about it. He said the room was nice, and he talked very highly about the food and the service too. He said the course was nice also, and that he played 126 holes. Thank you for providing a great experience for him Bright Leaf! He recommends checking them out!
