"Chuy's is a pretty decent place to eat if you like Tex-Mex style food. The place is a bit eclectic with their mix of Elvis Presley, Mexican decor, and 90's R&B music. The place is filled with plastic trees and a never ending supply of old photos of God knows who.
Now to the food and service... The food is fairly priced and the portions are hefty. You won't leave hungry, that's for sure. This isn't Authentic Mexican food which I was told by some friends and family. It's Tex-Mex and it's pretty good if that's what you're looking for. The food was fresh, plentiful and didn't take too long to come.
Our server was a bit quirky. When we asked about the drinks, he rambled them off like an auctioneer and then pulled up a seat at our table and began talking about everything and anything. He must have figured that while we were listening to him ramble on, that we had decided on what to order.
With the server aside, the dining experience was pretty good. I probably wouldn't return because Tex-Mex isn't my favorite style of Mexican food but I think most people would enjoy it."
"Great place for family, friends or date. I was here with all three and loved the food. Made out of fresh material. The salsa is the best I've ever had and chips are always fresh. I'm a picky eater but I'd highly recommend this place."
"When I have an urge for GENUINE Tex-Mex, I head to Chuy's. Just like New Mexico they offer both red and green sauces. The beef relleno is my favorite. Lightly fried and stuffed. Great bar for sports fans."
"I heard a lot of great stuff. My experience was so bad I don't even want to give it a 1 star. It pains me because I was a server for 2 major restaurants during my college years. It was just so bad on so many levels. From service to food quality. I left them an email awhile back but never heard - so even the customer service.
Bad experience on every checkbox."
"Great TexMex! Reasonable prices. Check online for events. We were just there for the Green Chili Fest. Awesome menu. Great service and location. Make sure you try their variety of sauces. "
