Never know if the satellite pharmacy is going to be open. Yes, they have posted hours...they also take days off for various base declared days off with no prior notification.

literally so horrible. everyone who works there is rude and it took almost a month to get my daughter’s inhaler. i switched to express scripts and never looked back. this place needs to shut down for awhile and figure things out. it’s bad.

Dropped off script in the drop-box yesterday morning before 0730 and went back after 1530 to pick up; but was told that they do not check the drop-box until after hours (?). This is not posted. Therefore I went back today at 0900ish and was told they haven't been able to get to it, please come back this afternoon. Went back after 1540 and was told they have not been able to get to it due to being behind. 1 script, 2 full days?
Additionally, you cannot voice your frustration, per the new sign that is posted, which reads, "When entering, individuals are expected to conduct themselves in a courteous and respectful manner towards customer service staff. Behavior deemed disrespectful, disruptive, or otherwise inappropriate may result in disciplinary action, loss or privileges, and installation debarment." So, I'm assuming they have frustrated customers on a regular basis?
Leadership should ask why they have to post a sign like this? I do not see a sign like this in the FSS or other customer service areas.
What about the customers expectations of the staff conducting themselves in a professional, courteous and respectful manner? They have removed drop off boxes, changed their procedures numerous times without notifying customers. You go inside and wait 5 to 10 minutes (with no one in front of you) to be acknowledged by the person working the window. When you ask about procedures, each person has a different response.
I've never worked in a pharmacy; however, I have worked customer service and, this section, I feel is lacking. If you go to any pharmacy off back they have it within 2 to 3 hours? What's missing?

Horrible customer service, they need more military oversight.

You aren't allowed to request a refill until you have a week of medication left. Turnaround time for them to fill the medication usually takes 5 business days (this is for a standard medication). God forbid they have an exercise or there is a holiday coming up, you'll be out of luck. Customer service is lacking. Do yourself a favor and just fill your meds somewhere else where you don't have to wait a week and risk going without.

The worst run pharmacy I’ve ever had the displeasure to interact with in the Air Force.
They’ve forgotten to transfer scripts to TDY locations after confirming they had. I’ve missed a week’s worth of meds because the stated date the script would be filled in the BX scripts machine was off by *4 days*. The satellite pharmacy regularly redirects you to the main pharmacy, and the main to the satellite.
I submitted a paper prescription, which they were unable to fill before I had to leave on a TDY, so they returned the paper script for me to fill at a local pharmacy at my TDY location—except I couldn’t because barksdale had marked the script as filled.
The incompetence is astounding.

Just save yourself time and some sanity and go off base.. They don't care to help you in anyway and your stuff will never be filled on time.

Most unqualified people with uncaring attitudes. Medicines ? don't show up in a timely manner and no feedback is giving if it's not in. I travel every 3 months and it hasn't gotten any better.

I would have posted 0 stars but it would not let me post. Worst customer service. I was on hold to speak with someone for 45 minutes and was told I had to call another number to get added to get meds filled. Then I had to call back to see when I could get my meds and was on hold for over 1hr. I am calling back to see what can be done on hold again for probably another hour!!!!

I would like to pass a sincere compliment to the pharmacy telephone attendant that helped me this morning. I can honestly say she was the best ever. Very patient, polite, and thorough. Completely customer focused. I think that when a person is treated with respect you get respect back. We should work on not being demanding or to have an entitlement mentality with others. Thank you Barksdale!

2 1/2 stars. This place is hit or miss. There are days they go overboard to meet the needs of the customers and others it seems you’re a burden. The biggest frustration is the the communication systems they have in place. When calling to speak to a rep, the answering service sends you in circles. We’ve called and the system literally takes you back through the list of options 3 times even though you’ve selected your option the first time and repeatedly. Also, they communicate very poorly their training days. Post on the drop boxes that you will be closed the following day so that customers can plan accordingly. The website says they are open so you make the drive to find they are closed for training. ?. Why can’t they operate like other groups and leave critical offices open with minimal manning?

Appreciate being able to use the satellite pharmacy. One suggestion is to include closing info in the opening remarks as the announcement says it does as the website is not kept up to date with these closings.

I've used this pharmacy for 10 years, and it's been the worst experience imaginable. We live 35 miles away and usually have to make 2 trips to pick up 7 scripts, even though we send them in at the same time. You can rarely get them to answer the phone. The on-line system is a joke.

The absolute worst base satellite pharmacy I’ve ever seen in my 20 plus years of service. Worst customer service ever, they treat you like you’re beneath them. I would hate to see how they handle elderly that are trying to get their medicine.
