I don't even know how to begin. This is the best customer service I have ever experienced and the owner Chaz went above and beyond to be helpful and honest with me in a tough car situation. Long story short, my clutch went out in Edmonds on my way home to MT. We got a hold of the shop 5 minutes before closing and the owner came to the hotel I parked in and spent over half an hour helping me weigh options. I then spent the next day, a Saturday, on and off phone with him trying to figure out best way to get my car repaired. It had several issues. I left Edmonds to MT Saturday night and left my car at the hotel. Easter Sunday morning he went in and did an analysis of my car after having towed it to his shop late Saturday night. He then advised I have it towed to MT to do repairs at my mechanic as the cost of the tow would be equivalent to the cost of WA repairs vs MT repairs. He even found someone for me to hire to do the towing. He did all of this with the intent of referring me back to my own mechanic from the beginning, meaning his shop would not even earn the repair fees. I don't know how I was lucky enough to find this man, but I am beyond grateful. If you live anywhere in the north Seattle area, it is worth the drive to take your car here!

I had my eye on a used 2012 Lexus GX460 (at Castle Auto Sales) and took the car to Edmonds Automotive Service for a free pre-purchase inspection. Chaz was incredibly friendly, humorous and informative, and really talked through step-by-step what he was looking at/for and why. He was really generous with his time (especially considering we weren't paying for any service) and I can tell that building trust with clientele is important to their business. After speaking with him, I felt much more confident about what I was buying and ended up purchasing the vehicle -- they've won me over so I'll definitely be coming back to this place when I need any repairs or maintenance on it!

Where do I begin???? I have a 1999 Chevy Tahoe, 190,000 miles that I love. Last year I was having trouble with the front end, a wobble during tight turns. I had it rebuilt 3 months prior at another repair shop, but it just wasn't right. I took it in to Edmonds Automotive, and as I suspected it was only partially rebuilt. The parts that were new were dry even though there were grease ports. They corrected the issue, replaced the rest of the parts and I was good to go.Since then, they have done a complete brake job, a few noise issues, but they stayed on it until it was fixed. Replaced my radiator, all the other fluid maintenance, as well as a tune up. It runs like new. Be warned, it takes about 30 days to get an appointment, but well worth the wait to have an honest mechanic work on your truck

About to leave Long Beach (WA) on Christmas Eve, my 2013 VW Beetle, began making a clicking (locking) sound on the passenger door. We thought it was the fob battery. It wasn't. All the way home, if we decreased speed to 10 MPH, click-click. Still drivable but annoying. Doing research, it seemed it might be the door actuator. Not uncommon. But to replace it @ Campbell VW would be $550-600. A friend (w/2 Audis) recommended Edmonds Automotive having had great experiences. So I called Chaz and waited the normal few weeks for an appointment. Once there, he agreed it was likely the actuator and replaced the passenger side. But click-click again. Diving down further, he found it was actually the driver's side! So, he replaced that one, too, and it was finally fixed. But rather than taking the non-offending actuator out, he kept both in...all that for $369 (tax incl). We're so impressed! We'll be taking our other VW Jetta there in the future. Many Thanks Chaz!

Chaz and Nathan have always been very honest and upfront when it comes to repairing my car. On several occasions, I took my car there for a second opinion because I trust them so much more than other mechanics. I have taken my car there only to find out that it actually didn't need a repair or needed a very minor one. I live in Tacoma and I will drive all the way to Edmonds Automotive to have them look at my car, I highly recommend them.

My wife and I had been out of town over Thanksgiving and our smaller Prius remained at home over the five days. I woke up to go to work this morning and when I turned on the engine, it made a LOUD rumbling noise that only increased when I put it in drive. I left the car and took our other one to work. A wise coworker recommended Edmonds Automotive Service saying that she and her family had used them for years and loved their work and service. My wife called them around 1:30pm and Nate said, "Bring it over now"! By 2:20pm, they had determined the problem and ordered the parts. An hour later, they called and said the car was fixed and ready. The job was a couple hundred dollars less than what I estimated and the service is top notch. If you are having any trouble with your vehicle's performance or any other trouble, please give these guys a call! Thank you EAS, we will be back when the need arises.

The service at Edmonds automotive is amazing! They are very truthful and nice people! They treat you like family. There is a reason on why they are booked out for couple weeks because they do an fabulous job on your vehicle! And they know what they are talking about with cars and won't take advantage of you! I don't plan on going to any other mechanic ever!

These guys have amazing customer service! Really patient with my questions and genuinely friendly guys. They take time to explain the issues and what needs repairing. I got quotes on some repairs and they were the cheapest too. This place is very popular. They are always booked 3-4 weeks out so plan ahead! They even referred me to another shop because they were so booked which tells me they aren't money hungry. They understand that people's safety far outweighs money in their pockets.
