I hate to leave negative reviews, so I want to be clear about making the distinction between the tremendous professionalism of the pharmacists themselves and the ongoing problems with too many of their assistants. When I go to pick up a prescription I can rely on expert help from the pharmacists but the opposite is the case with some of the other people on staff. The problems range from barely being able to understand what they’re saying because some of them whisper, to actually being screamed at. That was the case this morning. When I called the pharmacist on duty about the situation he was nice as usual, but didn’t seem to get it. This place, which is otherwise really good, needs customer service training for those employees. I’m done, and will be switching pharmacies as soon as the new local place opens in my neighborhood.

This pharmacy has and will continue to be my trusted source for my needs. I have dealt with Walgreens, CVS, you name it… those named are horrid chain stores that thrive on you believing that they are the only resources at your aid, they are not. I got so fatigued trying to fill my prescriptions at several different locations all to be told “we’re out.” I have (scouts honor) NEVER had an issue getting my medication filled here. They answered any questions I may have had and have always been wonderful. Genuinely honest to God really glad to have this pharmacy and not to be a hater, but it is good pharmacists and their staff that make me feel very happy to leave CVS and Walgreens behind. And I am quite a legit customer, if anyone thinks otherwise. I genuinely appreciate this staff and they deserve kudos.

I came in at 7:08 pm with a prescription for Norco and a throw up preventative (because Norco makes me throw up). I'm such a virgin on pills that I want in their drug system at all and it made them wary. They asked me about former last names and I gave them the history of my marriages. Eventually they filled my prescription 20 minutes and I was on my way. Oh and I bought a bottle of Tylenol and the pharmacist did her due diligence and told me the Norco had ibuprofen in it and not to take at the same time. I explained that the Tylenol was for when I was doing some driving so that I didn't get messed up on the Norco and that I wouldn't be taking them at the same time.

I waited for almost 2 hrs for steamed crabs and never received them........the guy gave my order away after asking twice what I was waiting on. The manager was either hiding or avoiding me because I could never speak to them.

I've been loyal shopper going on 20 + years. Tried to order a birthday cake for my grandfather who served in WWII. They took my order and then I was placed on hold for 25 minutes with the bakery and when I decided to show up they left for the day. I'm not angry just disappointed. My grandpappy ended up with a gas station honey bun instead of his cake. I

This place used to have the best service, but the last few weeks, it’s gone down hill with some very rude and non caring employees. I have been shopping at this location for 16 years and I’m on the brink of not coming back. Not a single employee working there today at 2:45 seem to care about the fact that I was trying to make a purchase. Being in the hospitality business for a long time, the service, or lack of, that I received is UNACCEPTABLE!!!

brought a king cake at college dr. store today and got it home which was 1 1/2 hrs to batchelor. had friends over and was dissapointed friends were dissapointed, it was suppose to be strawberry creme cheese. Man it was dry hardly any cream cheese and the strawberry filling was shy. To have cost $9 plus tax was a rip off will pass my experience on to neighbors and friends to not bother to buy one there.

The employees are very nice, but often confused about prices. I went to return some can goods that were in the weekly add and were not charged correct. I had no problem with the can goods return. I did some additional shopping .While there I needed to use the restroom. The ladies room is a disgrace. Tile walls have holes and the tiles are crumbled under the toddler seat. The baby changing seat was full of paper towels on rolls or crumbled up used paper towels as the trash can was over flowing on the floor. There was no soap in the dispenser. There is a sign on the door to report dirty bathrooms as the store takes pride in clean store and rest rooms. That is a joke! Disgusting!TRied to do the online survey at www.albertsons.com/survey but the survey was not taking anymore comments as it had enough comments. Really????

Conveniently located on College Blvd next door to Walmart I have noticed that parking has never been an issue like Walmart. The employees as a whole appear to be a lot more pleasant than their Perkins/Essen counterparts probably due to the positive influence of Chick-fil-A being within a block or two away and perhaps the Albertsons' employees frequent there for lunch..."my pleasure", just a theory. Anyway, the store is clean and the products that they carry is typical to other Albertsons stores in Baton Rouge the big inconvenience though is that the Albertsons stores do not have much uniformity from one store to the next. The produce is usually competitively priced especially for the quality and quantity that you get and the 12 oz Community Coffee bags can be marked down to $2.99 a bag every so often. Check out the sales on desserts too, you can usually get it for a bargain and they have a coinstar machine that will give you an Amazon gift card for no commission.

I like them because I can depend on them and they have competitive pricing. Conveneint locations inside Albertson's grocery stores is a plus, but not the whole story of why I like this pharmacy. There is a drive thru, a waiting area, drop off window and pick up counter. The drop off counter is next to an ATM machine and that's a little strange sometimes, but not worth deducting a star in my case. Dropping off in person takes about 20 minutes on most days so I just shop to pass the time. I like that I can call my refills in ahead and my order is ready to pick up when promised 99 % of the time. The pescriptions my doctor calls in are ready when I arrive 99 % of the time. The employees are friendly, alert and always ready to answer any concerns or questions. The -1% that didn't work out was due to lack of stock. They did call and advise me of the delay in a timely manner. Getting your immunizations here is quick. So much less time wasted waiting for the doctor's office to get you through the guantlet of all that a Doctor visit entails. Much safer too, as I don't have to sit so close to the coughing-sneezing people in the waiting room. Coughing-sneezing people are much easier to avoid in large high ceiling buildings, especially if you use hand sanitizer. My motto is minimize major You can order online and save a ton on your medications. Just visit the link in the company info and follow the instructions. Tired of long lines at your pharmacy? Give them a try and thank me later.
