I give 5 stars for the employee Ashalah. I didn’t have my insurance card or information on me and she went out of her way to figure out my insurance coverage that I had from my job. Ashalah’s help saved me over $200 for my visit, exams, and contacts. I would recommend her customer service to anyone. She’s amazing.

I would give zero if they had the option. I went for 2 pairs of glasses and free exam. Bill was $400. I couldn’t see out the glasses and asked for refund . They charged me for the exam out of my refund (which obviously was not correct ) and only gave me back $172. NEVER NEVER NEVER fall for their 2 pair for $79 free exam bull ! PSA…stay away from americas best siegen lane!

I tried to make my husband an appointment for a diabetic eye exam. He works full time so chose this company because they don't close until 7pm. I requested a 5:30pm appointment and they refused to accommodate that. Then i tried a 1pm appointment and they also refused that stating that he had to be dilated. Every time or day i asked for they refused. I hung up and called the Denham springs store and not only were they much kinder but they accommodated a 5pm appointment with no issue. I made it very clear it was for a diabetic exam also. Just make the 15 minute drive to Denham springs well worth it.

I NEVER EVEN MADE IT TO THIS PLACE THANK GOD, I had 6 appointments for everyone in the family and at DIFFERENT times and dates in November. All 6 were cancelled, saying the Dr has an emergency well that's funny. So I decided to say screw them and went to Target. How anyone sees them I don't know these appts were made for months and then 4 days before each one they sent a text cancelling the APPT. No call NOTHING! All I got to say is it obviously saved me a headache.

Today my children and I had eye exams and our visit was sooo pleasant. The ladies here were so personable and attentive. From the two doctors, to Jasmin, Mrs. Susan, Mya and Cameron and really all the ladies, we were taken care of! Don't go here. Go to Walmart instead to get glasses or contacts. They do not respect your time here at all. They don't grasp what an appointment is. Waited an hour and half no one waiting. 2 hours still haven't been seen. Go anywhere else. Waiting room empty. No other patients. No excuses for 2 hour wait. Arrived early for no reason. No systems in place. No on to do pre exam. Walked out. Told by staff don't make an appointment during our lunch break...then don't take appointments if you are essentially closed.

This has been the second time being at the one in Baton Rouge 1st time was with my older daughter and this time for myself and youngest daughter each time was a very pleasant experience and the doctor on call was very polite and knowledgeable I felt at ease unlike my normal eye doctor I go to think I will continue to go to this particular location as long as dr Daniel smith is there he was very good and patient with both my children

Dr Smith is always professional and helpful when it comes to my family eyecare needs/ requirements. My son who is normally nervous finds him very comforting and he's more relaxed . We were assisted in the waiting area by Camryn who was very polite along with kind and we didn't spend all day at the appointment. Prices are decent out of pocket but they do accept insurance. We will be back for our routine exam in the future.

2 stars because some of the staff is friendly, but nowhere near 5 overall.First, they book you for an eye exam with a docor that calls in remotely over a zoom platform. They work with independant optometrists, which means they can book 10x what they normally would in a day, but expect to wait as I did (45 minutes past my scheduled time,) just to get in the room. Then I waited 15 minutes more for the doctor in anoter state to show up.I tried giving it the benefit of the doubt, but for the first time in my life, I had to schedule a follow up because my vision was blurry. A different doctor looked at my file from the virtual doctor and got it wrong again. THEN they said I have to schedule another follow-up to come back.Honestly, there are WAY better places to go in Baton Rouge. Save your money, your time and your eyesight from this racket.

Appointment scheduled for 1015 to finalize my contacts before a script is given. Arrived 12 minutes before appointment. Was seen by the tech 30 minutes after appointment time and have to see the doc before script can be released. Was told that if I need to come back they can keep my chart and reschedule however now it's been an hour and was told the appointments are booked one after another. If I'm not mistaken the purpose of an appointment is for convenience. I respect you by showing up early respect my time.Overheard that it should take an hour from start to finish, we'll it took me 2 hours.2 minutes with tech, 2 minutes with doc, 1 minute for script to print1h 55 min wait time.Good luck to everyone elseChange your scheduling protocol. I don't waste your time dont waste mine

Very very unprofessional environment. Unfortunately when I arrived, their system was down - this, I totally understand. Technical issues are of no fault to the staff, however the way the staff handled the situation was entirely inappropriate. Rude, uncommunicative, and very unhelpful. I was cut off several times just trying to get any information from staff & talked down to. I will not be returning or rescheduling for this location ever & I recommend no else does either. I also recommend management and corporate address their rude staffing issues because this doesn’t seem to be the first complaint concerning it.
