So I went In to ask questions about the manager special why my bill was $489? A man named Shawn waited on me he had an attitude from the moment I started asking questions. We went back and forth then I asked to speak to lady standing by him he refused to let me deal with somebody else. He then started hitting the counter and pointing his finger in my face I could not believe what he was doing. I said something under my breath he then snatched the keys out of my hands. He refused to give me the keys for my car which I had an open contract with. Not to mention all of my belongings was still in the car when he snatched the keys. He is very rude, very unprofessional, he needs to be fired immediately!!! I do a lot of business with Avis after this I will never and I do mean never rent from Avis again !!!!!! Please save y’all’s time and money do not go to Avis location on airline In Baton Rouge La. Shawn had me stand out side in the freezing cold for 5 hrs waiting on someone from texas to come pick me up!!! Because he refused to give me my keys or let me get my belongings with an open contract!

Idk how this place can have any bad reviews. Maybe past reviews. I choose this place ove any rental car place at any given time . The customer service is great , nice cars, and the prices are way better than any other rental car place ove dealt with. 5 stars

I really don't like leaving a bad review.I am a business owner and I Uber on the side.but anyway mark the owner of this Avis budget car rental is a complete jerk. if there was any other place near by other than new Orleans I would of walked out and taken my business elsewhere by for the worst and please I would beg you to check my review on the last Avis Uber rental I did business with they are the best so in short the only reason mark I'm doing business with you is because lack of compensation .... In response...... I'm I'm not even remotely interested in resolving any issues with you

My grandmother when to this place of business on October 17 where her money was stolen off her card by the manger and she wasn’t provide a rental he then went on and proceeded to yell in her face calling her stupid telling her to shut up when she clearly showed him the money was removed out of her account we called customer service they seen the money was processed but still didn’t provide her a rental stating it was up to him to give her a rental so he stole the money and still didn’t provide her a rental.

The interaction with the the gentlemen at the counter with the long beard and painted nails was absolutely horrendous on 2 separate occasions. The manger watched as her employee was being very sarcastic about a situation the occurred yesterday as a result of there misunderstanding of there own policies. As a result of this we took our business to there rival National which had amazing customer service and provided a better rate after hearing our situation!!

Cars could be a bit cleaner, rented from here 2 times both times the cars seamed like they were just wiped down and not cleaned. This most recent there was a film on the driver's window that I could not tell you what it was.

Had to get new vehicle due to service light coming on in the first vehicle. I accidentally left my bag in the car. Came back to check the lost and found. Drove past the maintenance lot to see that my bag was open and some of my things were on the ground and in the trash. I walked up to a gentleman and inquired about my 400 Bose earbuds (they had been removed from the bag) he proceeds to cuss me out and call me names. Filed a police report. They couldn’t do anything. Managers at Avis seem to think that it’s not their problem to deal with. Even-though it is policy for employees to turn in items they find left in the vehicle. The lack of help and concern with my problem from Avis corporate and the management team at this location tells me That they must condone this type of behavior from their employees. This team is not to be trusted. I would not use this location again I will not recommend this location again.

The rental experience isn’t great. We requested a Chrysler Pacifica like we do from Enterprise. They made us drive to New Orleans Avis in a greasy ashtray of a car, and the Pacifica was outdated and full of dog hair. Use Enterprise. Skip Avis.

The worst experience ive ever had. Rented a car for the first time and the lady tacked on some charge for insurance without me approving it and taking advantage of us. When I tried to tell the lady that at checkout she proceeded to try & say I'm lying & refused to talk to my dad anymore on the phone. The lady the counter at the BR airport was rude and tried to say "there's no way they put that charge on without my consent & no way they didn't give me a pamphlet for returning the car bc they give it to every customer." The person who checked me in for the rental was new & the lady who checked me out was horrible & rude & I wouldn't recommend this business to anyone ever. Enterprise at the BR airport is amazing & much friendlier & explains everything out front. The whole staff at Avis was RATCHET and RUDE and you could tell by their customer service skills which were nonexistent.

Booked in advance for sports car. When i arrived, no sports car available. And the cars that were available were not even clean. Had to wait 30 minutes after the reservation for the clerk to go and clean the car. And to top it off, was told i could not be reimbursed the cost difference at the desk but they I’d have to call the 1800 number who i am still on hold with now. This is highway robbery. And I’m strongly considering reporting them to BBB. Do not rent from here

Do not rent from these people. I was told the price was $900 for one week. When I received my credit card bill it was $3100.00 for renting a car!!! When I call the office to get more information the girl working the desk had no clue as to what she was talking about..a total rip off!

Not good customers very rude,the office on baton rouge on airline rd and office in Gulfport,they are over charging me for a rental that I have ,I wouldn't recommended them to any one,poor service, tagged was expired since June 2021 smh,tire had a nail in and it was very dirty in the back of the car ,I was quoted a cheaper price and got charge a much higher price, DONT DEAL WITH THEM UNLESS YOU REALLY HAVE TO.....CUSTOMERS SERVICE SUCKS!!!!!
