I LOVE COSTCO!!!!! I go here at least 3 times a week just to go to the food court. All the workers here are extremely nice and they look like the genuinely love working there. Also they have great deals on everything!!

We love us some Costco! The prices are good. Their store brand, Kirkland’s, is excellent. And we usually top off our experience with a delicious hot dog.

The pharmacy staff at Costco on Airline is amazing. They are always friendly and very knowledgeable. I've never been hurried through there and have always had excellent experiences. The staff deserves alot of credit.

I had to redo my membership card today and when my son saw me get to take a picture he asked if he could get one too and they sure did.. without hesitation and with all smiles. Superb customer service!

The Good: Generally good customer service. Save about 20 cents per gallon on gas. Produce isn't the best, but you can get most things in bulk for a steal. The Kirkland brand is pretty reliable as well. Crowded on the weekends, so definitely try and shop on the weekdays! (As with any store) That Bad: Costco used to be my favorite store to shop at. I had been a member for over 3 years and had been generally a proponent of their business values. However I regret to write that I had my worst customer experience with them today. While I shopped for a few hours, I finally got to the register and was told my membership had expired and was told I had to pay on the spot. I had paid for my membership and had never received any notice otherwise, and I refused because I didn't want to pay twice. My cart was confiscated and so all that shopping I did went to waste. I proceeded to talk to customer service who said it had expired. When speaking with manager Jill Lohman, she was rude to me. When asking for a free pass to shop for the day, considering I would get the situation resolved later in the night....she refused and said Costco does no such thing. (Despite the fact that I had received multiple free passes in the past.) I had never received notice (sent to wrong address) and Costco never reminded me in person that my membership was going to expire. Leaving Costco with no groceries, a wasted trip, and bad customer service...I personally don't feel the need to renew my membership. I Over the past 3 years as a Costco member, I had grown accustomed to great & friendly service that had always left me satisfied. While I do believe you should take this review with a grain of salt, there is no doubt in my mind Costco's commitment to customer service has dipped since I first joined DISCLAIMER: My average review score 3.45 when I made this review--(take with a grain of salt) (I rely on Yelp to go to places with good reviews, may account for the higher average)

went to food court and it was soo dirty. staff did not clean up drink area and condiments area either. people should clean up after themselves and also have staff walk around d and clean the area since now there are so much more people coming into costco store. about 3 years back, it was not as dirty.

Signed up for a Costco in Iowa Originally. I moved for work to Texas. Both locations were super dirty and very un welcoming. Then with work I moved to Baton Rouge which I was thinking of letting my membership expire but luckily I stoped by this location when my membership was about to expire this location is super clean! Staff sometimes seem annoyed when asking questions about where stuff is located or if they have anything in stock. Cashiers are normally super friendly and helpful as well as quick! I currently have renewed my membership and would love to stay a loyal customer.

BATON ROUGE LOCATION! Yesterday my husband and I went to Costco to see if our payment had been received because our membership had lapsed. We had made the incorrect assumption that we could simply pay our renewal fee at a check out. We have been members for several months and also have the Citi Costco Credit Card. We are excellent customers and speak highly of our membership. Upon visiting yesterday to see if we would be "allowed" to shop while waiting on our payment to make in through the process, we were turned away by a manager type who proudly pronounced to us we could not shop because we had gotten our bill 7 weeks in advance so "this could be avoided." She was so proud to let us leave. I'd suggest to a store manager that you train your people not to treat your paying members like elementary age children. When your manager seems to enjoy turning away members because of this technicality, you've not trained them to recognize who is paying her salary. She could have offered us a one day pass, but she wanted to make sure that we "understood" our 7 week lapse in taking care of business. She had such power..... We get it. It's a busy place and you don't really need us. My husband said when we left, "That conversation could send me back to Sam's." It's the little things in business that demonstrate great management. Treating your customers like undisciplined children does not seem like a viable solution in building great customer service. I hope an actual manager reads this.

I have been to this location one this week. I went to pump gas, v cheap prices with clean stations. The line was efficient with a lane between each pump to speed up the process. I went inside and it was neat and easy to navigate through each section. I got a good selection of cheeses and Italian cold cuts. Costco is v consistent with the pre-made food selections (frozen meals, refrigerated prepped meals); so it feels like you don't get a new selection sometimes for novelty. But for the Staples - paper towels, TP, laundry detergent, plates, single use plastic, water this will be the cheapest. The lines can be quite long sometimes. Also, I noticed at this location they use a sesame bun with the hotdog which is not common to other locations; but still delish.

My my---been here a few times over the last year while my previous exposure to these humongous member only discount places is Sams Wholesale---I take it that Costco has raised the level of these joints and to a certain extent I wish I would visit more often and purchase more items more often----plus, if I go at the right time, then I can sample enough food to make a meal. Even I do not stuff myself on freebies, Costco's deli is reasonably priced that I can have a hot dog and fountain drink for under $2--and a chicken sandwich for under $4. All very reasonable. So what does this place sell? It's a huge department store but most items are sold in higher quantity than what you would get at a department store and definitely more than at a CVS and or Walgreens. Liquor, electronics, clothes, food and fresh food/meats/bakery offerings for all. The times I have visited, the entire location has been clean and neat which is more than I can say for Sams. The workers at Costco also have been polite and helpful which is yet another reason to say good things about it and give it a great rating and review.

COSTCO is the high-end bulk store and Sam's is the dollar tree bulk store. If you want quality products them go to COSTCO. This applies to the cleanliness and more importantly the attitude of the employees. COSTCO knows you have other options and Sams just doesn't care if you are there are not (I get the feeling they would be happier if you weren't) My friend has a Sams card and I have COSTCO so would go to both. When her card comes up for renewal in December it won't be renewed. Don't want to have to beg anyone to take my money and at COSTCO they work hard to make sure you are happy to pay your hard earned money for purchased you love

Don't plan on just buying one thing when you come here. If you manage to just buy one thing you must have great will power! This is my go to for many things including food, alcohol, gas, pet supplies, and other random things I didn't realize I need till I saw it at Costco. The days they have samples you can spend hours there! I also enjoy the food court and have taken advantage of their tire shop. Try out their pizza, it's something special! Customer service has always been great, except for the tire center. The couple times I've been there (tire center) it's been very nonchalant. The entire store is always meticulous and tidy. They might not have as big a selection as Sams but I'd rather drive 10 more minutes for a better experience. Get a membership and a Citi Costco card to get awesome cash back.

Sad day that I have to leave a bad review for one of my favorite places. This is review of tire shop and does not reflect on the whole store. After driving my car for my move from another state, took it to dealership for full inspection. Their only recommendation was to change two of my tires, one w tread depth of 3/32" or less. Informed them I got my tires with Costco and will go back to them if tires need to be changed. Dealership repeated: those two tires need to be changed. Came to Costco to get their opinion and per their protocol manager was not in. After talking to 3-4 diff people and having them talk to the said manger, I was informed they would have changed my tires and honored the warranty that same day if manager was in to sign off on it. But not to worry, I only had to come back in a month or so, with my tire treads more worn down and they would get it changed without all the headache. Oh also, they would even give me a gift card for my trouble. Sure Came back in 2 months, had to go through the whole Q&A with all new people. Guess what?! manager magically had left a short time before. Was able to find the person who was helping me last time. First he didn't remember but then his story changed. He said they were never going to honor the warranty to begin with because my tires were not at a necessarily dangerous level of bursting or worse. Asked the supervisor to go see my tires: if he could guarantee my tires are still in good condition, I would leave. You can say I was fed up. Manager came back in less than 5 minutes and said they will make special arrangements for me. Special arrangements left me paying another 90$ out of my pocket and wasted almost two hours of my time. They provided me the tire shop's manager's business card. Called while waiting for the tires to finally be changed and the same guy who was helping me at the front picked up and told me manager just left 30 min agoand to call Friday and Sunday morning in hopes to talk to an actual manager. This whole experience has left a bitter note on my Costco experience. All I know for sure is that something is not right if I have to change well known brand of tires every year or two for past 4 years. I'm sorry to say Costco has become tarnished for me. Making me question my membership

I see so many reviews of folks comparing costco to sams. There is no comparison. Costco employees are happy because they work for an employer that values them and treats them as such. They encourage longterm FULL TIME employment with a livable wage un like SAMS and Walmart. Prices are the same and lower on some items at costco!

Costco goes the extra mile to help customers. I had 6 pairs of jeans that I had bought a while back that were too large now. All the items had the tag but I had long lost the receipt. Normally, I would just take it as a loss.

My family buys 2-3 cases of the Kirkland’s 16.9oz bottles of water a week from your Baton Rouge location. We have noticed over the past year that the bottles are very flimsy and very hard to open because they give so much. Most of the time, water spills everywhere and we’re wasting water. Yet, at least 10-12 cases over the past few months have LEAKING bottles so they are unusable, not to mention, they make a hellacious mess. At least 3 bottles, and as many as 9, in ONE cas

Costco has easily moved to the top of my list for wholesale clubs. The location is easily accessible from several different routes. Parking has never been an issue, and cards are always buy the door and clean! I absolutely love how high they are and they seem to keep the wheels greased for easy maneuverability. I'm always impressed with the selection. Just today I found Château Saint Michelle Riesling for $7.79 a bottle. Their produce is what keeps me coming back even when I don't "need "to go though! Fresh blueberries and strawberries are among our families favorites. They have choices from organic and non-organic. Which helps to meet different budgets. I also love all the unique items they have from fresh mozzarella and basil salad to different types of Latin American frozen cuisine. This time of year they have a very large selection of package deals on sunscreen. Coupled with being able to use your HSA card and it is a win-win! My kids love all of the samples they give out, today it was smart pop popcorn, guacamole, fruit juice, and Poke chocolate sticks. I appreciate the cleanliness of the store, including the restrooms and changing tables, and a pleasantness of the employees. They also have a great checkout system, where are use in the cart down one lane and you go down the other, and you were able to leave any heavy items in the cart. And the customer gets to decide what is heavy! Don't feel like picking up that box of protein powder? No problem. They will gladly scan it from the cart. They have a gracious return policy as well, only having to present your membership card and not your receipt is helpful in keeping down the clutter in your purse. Overall, this club has everything I am looking for!

I love Costco, I come here once a week at least. You get larger amounts of food at cheaper prices who doesn't love that ? I buy a lot of my staples at Costco, cheese, bread, vegetables, alcohol, they have the best quality meats, etc. The reason I love Costco as a whole though is their great customer service. You can return anything you buy here if it does not meet your standards. No arguing over dates of when it was purchased, its quick and simple. I think that is why I am not afraid to try new things from Costco, and I seldom return anything. Their food court is a bonus who doesn't like a quick meal at a great price especially after you spent all this time and energy shopping for your groceries. I love it, and my kids love it even more. This is where this location is sorely lacking. They take a very long time to make whole pizzas they are not efficient at all. It is very disorganized. There will be 10-15 people waiting and no pizzas in the oven. One person working the register, and one person in the back making everything, answering the phone and definitely not busting out the pizzas. I have had to wait at least an hour for one pizza multiple times. I call and order ahead even and it still is not done when I finish shopping. I am used to the Costco in San Luis Obispo, CA that is phenomenal. You never wait more than 15 minutes and you can always grab a slice of pepperoni, cheese, or combo. Whereas this location your lucky if they have 2 kinds of pizza, and most of the time the dough is insanely bubbly causing big patches to have no cheese on them. Can you tell I like Costco pizza? Everything else about this location is superb though, they have a great parking lot, I never wait long at the gas pump, and all of the employees are friendly. Fix the food court please.

The Costco, in my opinion, is the best option for your big box bulk purchasing store. For those who actually know me, you maybe wondering why I like the Costco. I am a single female who lives alone. But I dislike having to remember to go back to the store for those items I forget, like paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent and the like. I would much rather buy one package with 50billion11 of that one item and stock up. While I may not buy much else, the savings and added value of being able to buy these items in bulk is worth the added effort. My most recent visit to this location was to pick up a cake from the bakery for my father and father in laws combined birthdays. Now that may confuse some people. I know! I JUST told you that I am single. That's confusing, huh. The man I refer to as my father in law is the father of my sister's husband, but as I have known him for 23 years, he is my family as well, in my opinion. This location has plenty of parking, easily accessible from Airline Highway and I-12. In, out and on your way. Too easy.

Membership required but worth it. Gasoline is usually quite a bit cheaper here. The station is efficient and always clean. The deli has good pizza and hotdogs. Easy enough to stop to pick up a pizza. I don't like hotdogs but I do like these. Tip: you can custom order your pizza either in person or over the phone. The checkout process in store is always fast. So I'll sometimes stop by costco just for a couple items like milk, greens, or a rotisserie chicken for dinner - usually as fast if not faster than the regular grocery store.

I am cheering for Costco, but they keep coming up short. I shop here because they are supposed to pay a living wage and treat employees well. However, I'm about ready to bail. There are many problems. However, I'll focus on one: produce. The BR Costco has had a produce problem for over a year and it has gotten worse. Issues: -Many items out of date: tomatoes, mixed fruit, apple slices, etc. -Items bruised. Had to look through 5 packs of blueberries to find a package without juice on the bottom. -Cucumbers-cocktail and English, mushy. -Organic apple slices, discolored & some rotten. The last 2 times I've bought them, I've had to throw 2 -3 packs away. Today, they looked discolored. I've expressed my concerns to 2 managers and the employees when I've returned items. One day, the person in front of me and behind me had produce to return. Most times I haven't bothered to return items due to how long it takes --20 minutes average. At a women's group, other women mentioned how they had stopped buying produce at Costco and basically switched to other stores. For a long time, I visited Costco to get produce once a week. Consequently I bought a lot of items too since I was there anyway. Now that the produce is so bad, I will have to find another grocery.

Oh Costco, how I love the! Now, let me tell you the reasons. I have been shopping at Costco, since I was a child, living under my parent's roof. In fact, I remember going when it was still called Price Club. Honestly, I am not even sure, when they made their transition in being just a Costco. Let's just say, it was long time ago. Loved it then and love it even more now. The Polish dogs with a soda was my favorite food from their cafe and don't even remember how far back the pizza started; that Polish dog has always been more memorable. Now, fast forward to present day and I still have a Costco in my life and share the experience with my husband and child. Sadly, my husband did not grow up going to Costco, but thankfully, my daughter will. It was also highly popular, when we lived in Hawaii and it was the go-to place for the least expensive gas. Their choices and quality in items have gotten better throughout the years. They always have amazing produce, high-quality meats and pretty unique items that I cannot find anywhere else, especially with their excellent price offerings. I am obsessed with their bakery because their cakes are fantastic, their chocolate-chip cookies are soft-baked and their apple pie will make want to buy another and another and another! I spend so much time here. Did I mention their variety of snacks? OMG, anything you need, they have! Your party nor what you bring to a party will never be boring ever again. I think of Costco as a hypermarket because they seem to have everything that one will possibly ever need! Need to gas up your car or get new tires? They have these services available, too. About customer service, the employees here have always been helpful and no matter how busy they are, I can get through lines within several minutes. If I don't get distracted, I can get all I need within 20-30 minutes. Considering a membership and plan on going often? Definitely get the Executive membership. You can even look at their on-line store and even book travel plans with them. Ahhhh, I can go on and on and on!! I love me some Costco!

I am a huge advocate of costco. I buy my gas and most of my groceries here. Everything is always fresh. I love the samples and the employees are super helpful. I love getting their whole pizzas for $10. Sometimes if I call it in they'll forget to make it though but they usually give me a coupon for a free pizza. :) Amazing quality. I love the Kirkland brand. Toilet paper, paper towels, eggs, everything is top notch. Great wine and meat selection as well!

Dinging them down a star after two trips in a row of getting charged wrong prices. I come here to avoid that and wasted time. Took an inordinate amount of time to get refund as well. And to add insult to injury, last trip I was over charged for limes only to get home and find that there was no juice in most of the 5 lb. bag. Need to get a bag of lemons that are not baseball sized with very little juice and cost more than grocery stores per lb. $1.79 a lb. vs. $1.33 a lb. 3 star is a-ok but I come here for excellence.

I love Costco. To the point where I make it my JOB to come in every weekend (either a Saturday or a Sunday). It's refreshing walking into a place where customer service is amazing. It's also great to see employees get treated well, especially hard working employees. I will always support a business that actually cares about their employees and not treat them like they're just another person to replace. I digress. Do you ever get tired of having to run to the store everyday (or frequently) for the same darn item? Guess what's great about Costco? Are you ready? You can buy things in bulks!!! You heard me everyone, BULKS! No seriously, buying your basically house supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, water, and more) is helpful, and they're not badly priced either. If you find yourself seeing brand name items being a bit expensive to buy, try their Kirkland brand, I usually go for the Kirkland brand items so I could say a buck or fifty cents (I'm frugal, okay.). Costco not only carries your standard house supplies, and food. You can also buy good quality bedding, GOOD quality clothing, lots of electronic goods, and more! I've bought numerous food items from them and the taste of a lot of it is fresh. Also, sometimes if there's something food wise you want to buy, but you're not too sure if you should get it because you may not want to waste money. Check for samples! Costco always has samples going and sometimes you find yourself buying something you didn't tend to buy! Last and but not least. Costco does carry some organic food products, so be sure to be on the lookout for those! Phew, that was furious writing going on, but this place deserves a lot of good reviews. P.S.: The only con is that they accept Visa cards, so make sure you're either carrying cash or you have your Visa on you. I wish they would accept all credit cards, but for the time being they don't.
