I didn’t receive my pack & play. I called at the beginning of December (I was due the 30th) thinking that I needed to order it BECAUSE I NEVER GOT ANYTHING. (also with my last baby and private insurance, I had to order the pump online, they didn’t randomly send it) Y’all said I had been put on a waiting list for 4-6 weeks from my Notification of Pregnancy… It had been that and then some. I got the run around for several weeks of people saying I would get an update because whoever they were messaging that is in charge of sending them out wasn’t replying to the MULTIPLE emails they had sent. and finally on the DAY I BRING MY BABY HOME, the woman says verbatim “We already sent her one, and we aren’t sending another.” ….Could have cared less that we did NOT get a pack and play. We aren’t on Medicaid for being rich, having to unexpectedly go buy a $100+ baby item the day we got home from the hospital was not the most convenient thing. On top of being induced unexpectedly several weeks early. I don’t understand how tracking can’t be looked at to see that I never received it. If y’all are just blindly sending out packages that large, that’s pretty stupid.
I already filed a grievance, but we had to go purchase our own pack and play, so it doesn’t even matter at this point. We don’t need a second crib, I’m assuming that’s what the woman thinks I’m trying to pull. But y’all need to know that whoever is in charge of sending things out is a joke.

TERRIBLE! They deny literally everything. It is a nightmare trying to get anything approved. You will die waiting for approval for anything. Even denied Zofran during pregnancy after I went to the ER. Complete joke of a company. They want prior authorizations and referrals for everything. They purposely make any and all processes extremely difficult so they do not have to pay. Canceled and went to another company. Do not use them.

Worse insurance ever to approve needed surgeries and procedures to save my leg from amputation, due to peripheral artery disease.
They act like the expenses are coming out their own pockets
My whole family use lhc but,will be changing to an other ins provider.
Would not recommend this company and every year has got worse.

This insurance sucks. I called customer service to ask for a gynecologist that accepts the insurance. The agent only gave me one doctor in my area when I call The doctors office told me they do not accept my insurance. I am in so much pain. I need to see a gynecologist On top of that, they took away the dental coverages. I need To see a dentist badly I cannot wait until open enrollment so I can change this plan. Do not enroll here they don’t care if you die on top of that they did not even notify me that my dental benefits were going to be taken away. I Had a surprise when I went to the Dentist they told me I had to pay out-of-pocket. Can you imagine the price I had to pay?

I think one star is being generous. Louisiana Healthcare connections took away their dental coverage at the beginning of the year with no other options or anything. It was already hard to find a dentist that accept Medicaid now I cannot go to the dentist unless I pay out of pocket. The dentist is already expensive. Open enrollment cannot come fast enough for me to switch to another plan. I’m sure a lot of people will switch due to them taking away dental services for adults.

Don't believe a word about paying you for preventative check ups or testing or anything. I was with them for years and did all of them. They paid me for 1 thing my first year and then stopped paying for anything. Emailed them, called them and nothing. Now, I lost coverage and will never see a penny.

I'm the brother of one of the members, personally I think there's a problem with the part of, if you need a ride call us my brother has tried four times and every time (we'll get someone is what said) but no one ever shows up and he keeps missing his doctor's appointments and he is wheelchair bound and can't get in a regular vehicle

As a discharge planner, I have never dealt with a less professional service. Phone system never works properly. Transportation services will transfer your call over and over and over again. My patients often wait 10 hours or more for a ride. Moments ago I spent 40 minutes on the phone with a woman who barely spoke English. When she was giving me the verification number for the trip, she said "T as in pterodactyl."

The most horrible company to deal with.They schedule the wrong dates,did not pick patient up for appointments 5 times which patient missed because of them and now can not be seen until 2 months later which is wrong,Plus the receptionist staff has nasty attitudes and the supervisors does not do anything about it.Please report these people to the Better Business Bureau for their actions with these patients when they mess up your appointments because I will and so should you.They are just dam wrong.They need to know that these are not animals these are people with serious medical conditions who is being neglected and they need to be held accountable

Working as a discharge planner trying to set up transportation, I have to say this is the worst company I deal with, I don’t think it’s LA connections as much as the horrible company’s they use, it’s honestly beyond ridiculous, they never show up, never get a call and are on hold for a hour and sometimes longer, they should definitely take a page from the other Medicaid companies, I feel like everyone that works for them doesn’t have a IQ above 80 and that’s a high number

Since switching to Wellcare customer service is awful, they don't have correct information and give you the run around. I takes repeated calls for resolution.
