Do not rent a car from the location on Nicholson Dr. Their customer service is horrible and they do not know how to speak to customers without cutting them off. The poor customer service started with Mike the manager, when I walked in to pick the the car up I reserved he told me that there was a waitlist and they had no more cars. I asked why was I allowed to make a reservation that morning if there weren't any cars. He explained they don't control the reservations because that's done outside of them. A few minutes later he said \\\"wait I think I have a car that just came in, but it's not going to be vacuumed or washed because I won't be able to do that right now\\\". I thought that was strange, but still took the vehicle because me and my husband were leaving out of town.\\n\\nWhile out of town someone attempted to steal the car and broke the back window. We filed a police report and tried to go to the nearest Budget to exchange the car. The people there called the Nicholson location and the lady there told them we could not exchange the car and would need to return it back to Baton Rouge. We then drove 5 hours back to Baton Rouge and filed a claim through out insurance. When I called to give them the claim number and tell them the insurance company was going to come by to fix the window the lady at the Nicholson location (who refused to give me her name), cut me off and said \\\"no they will not be here because we don't have room to keep this vehicle they'll have to wait to see where the car get's taken and you'll have to figure it out from there we aren't calling the insurance\\\". I tried to explain to her that the insurance company said they could call to arrange how they could fix it and she very rudely kept cutting me off saying \\\"It's not on us to call them you'll just have to call back later to figure it out\\\". I then asked if I could talk to the manager because she was being rude and allowing me to speak and she just hung the phone up. I then called back and Mike the so called manager answered and would not allow me to file a complaint. So here I am letting people know not to do business with this independent company on Nicholson Dr.

Made a reservation to move college daughter 5 weeks in advance. Got there and they didn’t have a truck. And we’re very matter of fact about it. Weren’t concerned that it put me in a bind. So I left empty handed. Worst of all ….. they charged my visa for a “no show” !?

Reserved a budget moving truck for a 10.5 hour move at another location that didn’t have a truck and went here instead. Employee didn’t want to allow my husband to view the truck before paying for it because there was a hole in the roof, no AC, rust all over, and it was filthy! My husband had paid for the truck and after seeing it asked for a refund. The employee became rude when asked for a refund and asked my husband to allow them to patch the hole instead. DO NOT waste your time here! No customer service! This place is a joke and absolutely no way to do business!!!

Don’t rent from here!! Rented a car and they didn’t have any available upon arrival. There is no guarantee they will fulfill your reservation. They were more concerned about leaving to a graduation early than trying to help. Rudest front desk!

Worst place I ever rented from. Please don't do business with them. They are not that friendly at all. Also they are supposed to give your security deposit back.They took mine.Facts!!!

Had a flat trailer tire. Penske told me to drive to this location because they’d be able to replace it. However, it was 10 minutes before close and their door was already locked and they refused to help. Had to wait hours for roadside instead. They could have taken 5 minutes to swap the tire to help me out but had better things to do.

If I could give less than one star I would, absolutely unorganized in regards to inspection stickers, first they tell me to put 175 miles on my car because I just paid over $400 dollars to have the check engine light fixed. So I come back I come back then they said over 1,000 miles. Now I have to come back in and redo everything and be talked to like a child to get off the phone after my father just passed away with covid. Don’t worry I will never come back. Rude service.
