Ordered a simple thing. Burger with ketchup only. They put mustard on it. Person taking orders could care less. Theres a reason this place has bad reviews. I used to really like this place.

I already see low ranks so I am just going to add fuel to the fire.

Service was quick and friendly. Presentation and the wrapping of the burgers are unique and different. However, once you bite into it, the single paddy cheese burger was dry and bland. McDees and BK would be a better choice.

Out of lettuce, mushrooms, white buns and coke. $13 for burger, fry & drink and isn't wasn't good. Rude front line staff. Avoid this place, there is a reason why there is never a line.

Yesterday night I witnessed a young black girl being screamed at by two people who I assumed to be her superior , from what I gathered they were upset because she was late. I heard the white female say "I'm not clocking this bitch in" and I head the black older male who told me he was the general manager say "fuck no, she's out of here " I don't know what the situation was but I can't imagine anything was worth the verbal beating this girl received I was so astonished I got out of line. I will not support a business that treats its workers in this way. Especially woman. And to be belligerent and cursing infront of a full line is not okay. My daughter and wife were with me. My wife was so bothered by how they were speaking to this girl she cried in the car. We will not be back to this location. And we come once a week. Do not support this business

I've eaten at Smash Burger in 5 states and this was the worst I've ever been to. They were out of fries, lettuce, & milk shakes. My burger was NOT right - under-cooked, and on a bun that was about 1/2 normal diameter. Long line prevented me from lodging a complaint do I just trashed it. Very disappointing experience. How can you be out of LETTUCE?

This place is absolutely disgusting and I'll NEVER eat there, as long as they run it as they do. You can clearly see all the workers playing with their hair and eating, while preparing/handling food. They dont wair hair nets in the back of the house, nor do they don't wash their hands. Mall job or not, it's still service industry and should be run as such.

Great food, friendly staff. My classic smash burger was delicious, worthy to be included on any menu.

Whoever go here download the app first or ask to be signed up for the rewards program you get the burger free when you purchase a side and drink. Your total should come between $5-$8. That way you don't have to overpay for a burger. Also always go on Tuesday after 5 when kids eat free all you have to do is purchase an adult meal with a kid's meal and the kid's meal will be free. No one can ask you to provide proof of your child's age and you can use your reward on your first purchase. If anyone gives you problems just contact the corporate office in Denver.

They get an A+ for customer service, but oh my there just wasn't anything exciting about that burger. So, I ordered a BLT... a double patty BLT. I've had a burger from the other Baton Rouge Smashburger, so I know what a BLT burger looks like. First of all, I did not say hold the bacon, nor did I say hold the tomato. At the very moment I unwrapped my burger, McDonald's was starting to look great. Everything was lacking in this burger and it was just plain sad. I definitely got my double patty, but I think they held back on the incredible factor because that was definitely lacking. Their fries helped pop that 3rd star on there. They were hot, crispy and nicely seasoned. If it was just up to the burger, I would have just given 2 stars; one for each patty I got. The burger was greasy and there was nothing great about it flavor-wise that stood out. So, I did not do the yummy burger dance (yup, I usually do that when I get a fab burger). Let me get back to the bacon. Remember those burger commercials way back when? "Where's the beef"? Well, in this case, where's the bacon? There was 2 minuscule pieces that rested on the top patty, under the lettuce. Another question, where's the tomato? I think it got left out altogether because there was nothing red & juicy about this burger at all. That's usually how I expect to see & taste a slice of tomato. Sadly, they are not doing that well even at their Corporate/Towne Center location, so I am not sure if they were trying to redeem themselves by having a mall spot. Sad, sad because that plan is not working. This was just okay; mediocre mall food.

Quick lunch during my shopping spree to obtain clothing for my spontaneous trip to see the Saints play in Minneapolis. Lots of enticing options at the Mall of Louisiana, but decided to try Smashburger as I haven't eaten here before. One of their famous items is the Smashfries, shoestring fries tossed in olive oil, garlic, and rosemary. One suggestion I would have is for them to explain that somewhere on the board. I may have missed it since I was in a hurry, but when offered regular fries or Smashfries, I had to ask the difference. I got the bacon cheeseburger. Patty was pretty thin, but cooked well. The bacon was very flabby and cheap tasting. But the bun was perfectly toasted and had a great crunch. I think the Smashfries could do with a little less olive oil. That plus the oil from frying makes them too greasy. They did have a great flavor and aroma. At $11 for a combo, I thought this was a little pricey as the burger doesn't compare to something from Five Guys. Decent burger though, wouldn't be a bad decision to grab one.

This is my 1st experience ever eating any Smash Burger location but it will not be my last. The Bacon Cheeseburger and the smash tots were absolutely delicious. I would give it a 5 star rating if it was just a tad bit warmer.
