I avoid this location for numerous reasons, but now and then, they just have something that I either need or I swing by thinking it's for convenience. And now and then, I have an excellent experience, but those few and far between. Hopefully these excellent employees moved on to places where hey would be appreciated and be able to use their customer service skills in a better environment. I have gotten to speak to management on occasion - once to compliment an employee who went above and beyond, and once to return the grated cheese I opened when I got home that was a solid rock of mold in the middle, and Customer Service was telling me no refund because it was open. I needed some items for a last minute project, and the parking lot didn't look extremely full (of cars - it was chock full of litter and carts). I was approached three (yes three) times on the way to the door by people asking for money or help, and one was quite aggressive. Two employees watched my interaction with him and did nothing. It seems as though the location is always restocking, but it seems as though they never quite fill the shelves with anything. The past three visits (over a six month period at various points during the day and evening) appeared to be the day all the boxes were stacked in the aisles with empty boxes blocking your way. I was searching for a couple of sort of popular items and the shelves were bare in those areas, but taped boxes sat there with no employee in sight. There are only so many times you can play aisle Tetris and exchange fake pleasantries and smiles with other customers trying to avoid hitting them or wrecking the already busted buggies before it's just plain annoying. I was directed by two different employees to the incorrect aisle looking for the same item. Another customer pointed me to the correct one. Also, I know the pick up feature is really popular these days, but the staff "shopping" in aisles for those customers need to remember to pull their wagons over and let people by. Several rude employees were blocking the entire aisle causing congestion and just waved off those who said "excuse me" trying to get by. Somehow I snuck into a lane to check out and lucked out. I think it's because the 50 people in line for Customer Service made it look like they were in that line, otherwise I'd have been stuck for about 30 minutes in the other few lanes that were open. There was no "thank you" or "have a nice day" as I left. As as I left the store, one additional person approached me asking for money, then asked if I would pay them to load my car - "no thank you, I got it" to which i was answered with a yell of the B word. I'm not really sure what the security guard in the lot is securing, but it's not the feeling of safety for the customers. I think I'm done making the mistake of coming here now and then. It's not a safe place and very often is not a friendly place, and it's certainly not reliable.

I like this location better than College Dr for just groceries. But they have the rudest racist ladies there. I don't know if I have "f-off white boy" written across my face but they just deliver attitude toward me every time I go. But I ain't gonna let it ruin my day. I just smile, thank them, and say have a nice day.

I am writing this review based on the experience I've had at this location. I have to say, that I am completely shocked at what transpired... I used to love going to this store as I rarely had to deal with bad attitudes and such. All of that changed on 1/31 when I walked up to a register. The cashier by the name of Rasheka managed to mess up my transaction by accusing me of having a non-food item. I kept telling her over and over that I didn't have it. She angrily went through the bags and was still persistent that I had a non-existing non-food item. Another cashier from Texas walks up. She got on my nerves. She and Rasheka thought this was all a joke as they kept exchanging facial expressions and making silly remarks to each other. I went from being annoyed to sadness as I had my ill mother in the car waiting for me. I couldn't believe how these people were treating me. The manager came up to see what was going on and she came up with the solution to just go through the bags to do the transaction all over again. I was up there for almost an hour as the two continued to act stupid with each other. The Texas cashier kept asking sarcastic questions, even went as far as to keep an eye on me to see what I was doing. Another cashier popped up by the name of Lakisha who was standing around with her arms folded like she was Suge Knight. At the end, the Texas cashier told them that I took pictures of them and told Rasheka that I written her name down. So Suge Lakisha told me that taking their pictures was illegal(again with the accusations of picture taking just like at the Belle of Baton Rouge). I told her that I did not take pictures of them. She tells me that writing their names down is illegal. According to whom? There's a reason you wear name tags. Where did you get your education at? The manager was trying to console me but my mother and I left the store. I didn't even receive an apology. It's a shame that the businesses down here just give jobs to nutjobs looking for a hand out, not to people who love people and actually want to work. It's really sad. P.S. When I called the store manager, he was a Black guy who was really rude and hung up in my face. Just pure trash!

Quick and easy, prices are a bit higher than normal wal marts. Variety of products aren't as big either, being a neighborhood wal mart.
