We were on our way to Florida from Kansas. Intended to only spend Christmas Eve in New Orleans. As soon as we pulled into our hotel, our transmission went out. The service we received was above and beyond anything we have ever received in our home state. Back on the road within 24 hours of the parts coming in. 10/10 would recommend to anyone. I gave a one star rating not because of bad service but because someone worked on my car here and also stole some special sneakers from my trunk of my car. Dont trust a shop that steals and also go through your car searching.

Be careful buying used cars from the owner’s son Carlos. He’s young trying to flip cars and doesn’t really know what he’s doing. Car broke down on the way home.

The staff was friendly and welcoming; however, I spent over $900 to get my AC fixed for it only to give me the same problems after. The owner told me it would be an additional $200 for some other part to have it fixed properly. Wouldn’t recommend.Service: Auto A/C replacement

if you want to have your engine replaced and get taken to the cleaners, this is the shop for you. When we were told we needed a new engine for my partner's Honda Element, we were told a used engine was more cost effective than rebuilding the old engine so we agreed, and asked if we could do the calling work and track down a good used engine through LKQ and have additional new high quality parts shipped to the shop and the shop cheerfully agreed, then after that, they just ignored our calls and texts. 2 weeks later we were told the engine arrived, one that we didn't order, and thousands of dollars later it burns oil and after we got THREE months. I crawled under the car after getting it back the third time and saw motor mount bolts (the vital ones that keep the engine IN the car) were haof screwed in. When you buy a used engine you'd think to change the oil, right? Not West Transmission. The oil was thicker than molasses on a winter day and gritty, just the thing you do not want to have in a new used engine or your current engine. Gets better, we had to take it back THREE more times bc the check engine light kept staying on, and is still on to this day, each time they held the car for over a week. Maybe they can do some work right, but NEVER take your vehicle to this place for major work. Polite smiles up front, but less than substandard work after you hand over thousands. Me and my partner can't recommend a great mechanic, but for my worst enemy and crooked politician, this is the place for them! 0 stars.

I was given a 2008 frontier.Needless to say the motor was shot. I had heard all the negative things about putting a re-manufactered motor in. How I was wasting my money and how I was asking for trouble.I was referred to WEST by our mechanic at spee-dee oil change. So I took a chance. All the mechanics were ase certified.When we got it back it ran great it was quite. I was well satisfied with the motor. We had one problem with a sensor. We bought it in and has ran great ever since.WEST TRANSMISSION AND SERVICES is a honest shop run by great nice folks. I would use them again.

Jamie treated me in such a misogynistic, disrespectful, and degrading demeanor that it outweighs the work done here. When I told him about an issue I was having with my car, he completely dismissed what I was saying. He said women aren't familiar with their cars, and insisted I was wrong. He asked if a man had looked at my car, or if it had just been myself. I was absolutely taken aback by this response. My sex does not determine my knowledge of MY car.

I brought my 2003 Chevy avalanche to this shop not only they took a month to tell me that can't fix it but over priced me I really feel like they didn't look at my truck at all do to the fact wires was still unplugged under the hood and they told me Its my fuse box I would have to change so I went and did it myself and truck still not runningServices: Auto engine diagnostic

This man can not be trusted (Jamie). Brought a vehicle to replace rack & pinion steering which was verified by him as needing to be replaced along with other work he said needed to be done. The price was agreed and authorization given to proceed. After the car was picked up it had the same problem . After speaking with Jamie he said the rack and pinion didn't need changing but if we wanted to bring it back it would be 1600.00 in additional cost which was more than the original quote for the repair. So, for a cost of 1200.00 we got to park our car at his shop for two weeks and I am not sure that any work was done on the car at all because the problem was not fixed.
