“I’ve been her twice. So far….The staff is beyond exceptional. The two veterinarians who have cared for my cats have treated them with kindness and empathy. Both times that I’ve been here, we are treated as if we’re being our children in for their doctor visits, and this is just the place I’d want to continue to provide care for my feline children. In addition to this, the hours of operation are better than most places. I’ll definitely be back as long as subsequent experiences continue to be great.”

“Dr. Pete came to our home to help our senior dog cross the rainbow bridge. She was in pain and we didn’t want her to suffer. Him and his vet tech were so nice and so gentle and caring with her. They gave us all the time that we needed to say our goodbyes. And they were so kind to us. We were so thankful for them, and appreciative that they were able to come to our home.”
“I'm low income and have issues sometimes with payments up front but Whittington has worked with me without issue so far and the owner is an amazing guy! I've always made sure that my cats have had enough food and try to keep the litter box clean but that isn't always enough and I'm starting to find that out and Whittington has been amazing and is helping me work through the difficulties!”

“I'm not sure where to start; I could write a short novel of how great my experience was with the entire team at this clinic but especially Dr. Guidry! Let's me just say this... Not all hero's wear capes; they sometimes wear scrubs!!Dr. Guidry is a hero! A hero to our fur babies and a hero to us humans as well!! He took AMAZING care of my kitty who I brought in to his clinic due to a broken leg. He thoroughly explained everything he did as he did his exam on my cat; he also reassured me that my kitty would be just fine but my cat would need a procedure done so he then explained multiple procedure options to me.Thank you Dr. Guidry for your outstanding expertise, attention to detail and commitment to offering the best treatment for these fur babies. Courtney I hope I spelled your name correctly was FREAKING AMAZING WITH MY 12 YR OLD PITBULL BOXER SOPHIE WHO HAS A MASS CELL TUMOR. “I love bringing my Shelby girl to this clinic. Dr. Jake, Laura, Nikki, and everyone there treats us like family every time we visit. Dr. Jake explains things in layman's terms and really takes the time to address any concerns and questions I may have about any and everything. General vet services are extremely affordable compared to other clinics in my opinion. They make time for us no matter my schedule, whether that's squeezing in an exam on surgery day, refilling meds extremely fast, or getting back to me with questions I may have over the phone. We have never had a bad experience in the 5 years I've been going here. Highly recommend bringing your fur family here!”

“Outstanding veterinary care at affordable prices (honest)! I spent over $1000 at my old vet trying to cure my dog's skin condition, until my neighbor recommended I try GCAH. Dr. Brad was able to nail down the exact cause of my dog's condition and the cure? A $25 injection once a week for 4 weeks. I was simultaneously thrilled with my new vet and really angry with my old vet. The front office staff and the vet techs are suuuuuper friendly, helpful, and good at their jobs. I drive almost 30 minutes to get there and I don't even care ?”

I've never had to wait long for an appointment, some times there are even same day availabilities.
When my boy was having some GI issues, Dr. Broussard gave us a sample of some higher quality food and puppy probiotics that had him feeling right in a week.
I can't recommend them enough. It's a blessing that I've found such a kind, compassionate, generous, and knowledgeable provider.”

We found Vet Med through a referral from another animal hospital and they were able to get her an immediate appointment. Everyone was so kind and helpful, especially since I was very emotional. We had lost another dog in June and I am still super anxious about similar symptoms. Pebbles was quickly treated and you could tell that everyone at Vet Med actually cares about animals. I would definitely recommend them. ❤️”

“We have, unfortunately I think, a long road ahead of us. A bundle of joy that is far more interested in simply being social than pursuing the kinds of irritations, vices, or eccentricities you expect from a young cat came into our lives, and became, seemingly at random, very ill in March.I am grateful that with some of the stories I have heard of what can best be described as "call in vets" in surroundings areas that I was able to find Acadiana Medical Center. Dr. Chris, a self described numbers guy, has been dutiful and attentive with the cat's ongoing, maddening illness that always seems to find a way to tease and flirt recouperation, but fortunately Dr. Chris has remained as attentive to the dynamic changes in the cat's condition as the condition's symptoms seem to be to being a pain.I investigated the clinic thoroughly before I committed to bringing my cat there, because I am extremely protective and anxious about her. The story and the information that was available to me seemed to consistently point in the direction of love for the concept of treating animals, handed down more than dynastically, but through like a time honored trade.My first meeting with Dr. Chris was not an easy one, where the franticity with which he tried to solve a medical emergency ran headlong into the franticity of someone who deeply loves their pet reaching desperately in my darkest hour for any kind of shred of good news.Times have been rough since that first meeting, but Dr. Chris hasn't seemed ready to give up on Miao any sooner than I am, and with the genuine adoration I have for her, it's impossible for some of that adoration to not rub off on the attentive and kind staff that are helping me give, to the best of my ability, this wonderful creature the life her tribulations and habit toward family rituals has earned her.”

“This clinic was referred to me by a friend. My dog wasn't feeling well and when I called to set up an appointment I spoke to Brandie and she was very professional. After arriving Kallie was also very professional checking us in. Dr Holly and vet tech Hailey were very honest and professional in dealing with my dog and explaining everything. Unfortunately a week later we had to make a difficult decision to put our dog down. Chumani was great to deal with during this difficult time. She is a rock star and was very patient, professional, understanding and answered all my questions that I had. When we get another pet this will be our go to vet and I will spread the word for the awesome service they provide.”
