My apartment was deemed uninhabitable after Hurricane Ida. Couldn’t get to the apartment in time to give the key back exactly on the 1st. Got it back a day or 2 later. Yet they still charged me for a whole month of rent on an apartment I couldn’t live in. Didn’t realize they’d still make me pay until it went on my credit. I’m still fighting to get it off my credit report and am still homeless 4 years later because apartments won’t accept me with it on my credit report thinking I’m a bad tenant but that’s literally the only month I’ve never paid.

It’s a terrible place to stay they have a lot of abandon units so it leaves us with rats and roaches they don’t fixed anything at all the put a band aid on it the apartment they advertise is not what they look like on the inside it’s just to bait you in don’t rent from Carmel Springs Apartments

This is terrible housing for anyone. It's infested with roaches, and maintenance is slow, lazy, and cut corners. What they charge for rent is just wrong, and many units are dilapidated and filthy.

Renters beware!My ex husband rented an apartment at this apartment complex 27 years ago & he put my name on the lease. I did NOT live there due to I had a baby at the time and there was excessive amounts of roaches & crime. It was unclean and unsafe then & clearly it is even worse now. 27 years later, they have filed false charges with a credit collections agency & have put on my credit report, fthat they I owe them in excess of $15,000!

I'm comfortable... I'm going to resign my lease just because of the management .. the property is clean no trash .. maintenance responds in a timely and.. didn't any repairs done ✅ I'm good

This company lied to their tenants after Hurricane Ida and told them it was ok to return, while taking pictures that neglected to show standing water, Mold destruction, and other elements. UNSAFE LIVING CONDITIONS. DO NOT RENT HERE. Leasing Agent Rhonda Holmes has no personal ethics and should be fired.

DO NOT MOVE HERE!! Staff lied to a resident telling her that her apartment home was fine, fully knowing it has standing water and mold!!

Carmel Spring lied to a tenant about damage to her apartment after hurricane Ida. Staff emailed her photos that were done in such a way to make it look like her apartment was fine and ready for her to return. Instead, she came home to water in her apartment and everything coated in mold. She was left without housing because of this shameful lie.

Please don’t move here. If I could give zero stars I would. No central A/C-Heat, the units they have installed doesn’t work. ROACH INFESTED. the roaches are horrible and on top of that. When you move in they do not clean those tubs or service them properly, they paint over the rust and mold. The mold is terrible as well. This entire complex needs to be torn down.
