just wanted to say thanks to @Guardtechbolt for helping me recover my stolen Bitcoin. $49.800 I had submitted a claim with a private investigator, but nothing ever came of it. I was skeptical that they would be able to help me recover my money, but they have been nothing but supportive and professional throughout this process even when I had some doubts myself. I really appreciate their help and their professionalism, and I would definitely recommend them to others in the future! ✅

Amazing experience! Looking forward to the next one. Meeting the wine makers from so many excellent vineyards was the highlight of the evening! Tasting their most premium wines and talking about them was memorable. Tasting the unique food creations of so many exceptional local chefs was impressive. Glad I did not eat at all the day of the event! Small finger foods were the perfect complement to the amazing assortment of wines. Suggest they pair the food with a vinyard next year.

There was a great selection of wines and delicious foods! The staff were wonderful! This is not our first NOWFE. We travel in from Texas. It was entirely too hot to drink and eat. It was so much better when it was held at the Convention Center. Please, please move this event back to an enclosed, air-conditioned building. This will restore it back to the primo event we know and love!

I have been attending NOWFE events for 25 years and last night's Vinola event was the worst I've attended. The venue of the old bank was attractive and that was the high point of the evening. The event was marketed as "Vinola is a completely seated event. The wine and food will be served to you" That was untrue. The only way we received wine or food was to go to the 4 food stations on one side, or the wine stations on the other side of the bank lobby. As a result, the crowd mostly stood all evening.A critical error was miscalculation of food needed. For an event slated to last 2 1/2 hours, the food began to run out in the first 45 minutes and the restaurant participants had all cleared their sections in just over an hour. Since the wine, and 95% of the guests were all at the other end of the building, I heard people saying they were surprised that they were enjoying wine and talking with their friends for the first hour and then decided to grab a bite, only to be shocked that the food had already run out.As for the food, there were 3 restaurants. One, Papa Ted's Truck served two vegan sandwiches, which were excellent. Second, the Windsor Court served a single scallop in sauce. Frankly, we expected more from the Windsor Court. Third, the Palace Cafe had an excellent crab cheesecake. The fourth, listed as, but not a restaurant, was Gourmet Fournet, a maker of onion dips, serving potato chips with onion dip on top and occasionally a tiny dot of cajun caviar, which it was clear, they were stretching as their supply was very low.As for the wine, the varieties were fewer than we have noticed in prior years. There was an order form on the tables showing an excellent selection of wines we could order for later purchase, but a large portion of those were not being poured at the event. Most of us attend these events, taste wines and food, and later purchase those items or frequent those restaurants. We definitely did not get value for the $185 per person price. This was a poorly managed event. Hopefully, tomorrow's Grand Tasting will be better organized.Joel Daste

Steer clear of this event. Sadly, through no fault of their own, Nowfe had to cancel the event. They have decided however NOT to issue refunds for an event they cancelled stating that we shall only receive credits for a future event. Airlines are not allowed to do this - why should Nowfe? No sir, steer clear of this non profit organization which prefers to line its pockets rather than refund customers money for an event they never put on. Oh, and your credit card company will agree with me - simply dispute the charge and they will "charge back" Nowfe. What a disgrace this entity is.

Used to love this event. So I scheduled around their dates to go again in 2020. Sadly due to COVID-19 they had to cancel. Excellent decision on their part. What is not excellent is the way they are handling refunds. There are none. They simply said they will honor tickets for some future event that has yet to be scheduled? Huh? Who knows when that event will be held? Who knows if I'll be able to make it. Refunds should be provided. Sadly the organizers simply don't care to make things right and are taking our money. Can't give anything more than 1* for such behavior. Sad that. Aimee Brown (executive director), Ewell Smith (board member) and others involved in this decision should be ashamed.

This was the most incredible event I ever attended in New Orleans. The food was top notch got a chance to speak to a number of the chefs in attendance. And of course the wine selection was 1st class. All of the wine vendors were very knowledgeable and shared so many details on there offerings. It was a pleasure to also sample interesting coffees and those tasty deserts. I plan to attend next year. A+++++++

My daughter and I attended the NOWFE brunch and it was fantastic. There was live music, knife demo, booze, and tasty bites. The venue, NOCHI, was perfect as there was plenty of space inside plus a rooftop view of city. Parking was easy, and free since it was a Sunday. Once inside, we checked in and recieved snazzy bracelets. Then they guided us to the dining room and bar upstairs. We grabbed drinks at the bar, Bloody Mary for me and Stella for my daughter. Then we found seats at one of the large tables. We sat with a couple that had been enjoying the brunch already. We started off with the beef and grits dish which ended up being our favorite dish of the day. This is saying a lot as I had not found worthy grits until this day. All the dishes were creative and had incorporated tabasco into their recipe. The sorbet from Sucré really had a kick to it! We tried all the bites offered and enjoyed ourselves. All in all, it was a casual but classy, fun event!

ZERO chance that we would ever go back for this... paid $179 for the "VIP" Royal Street Stroll experience and for that we got a few cheese cubes, 1 oz wine pours, and a registration/check-in that was a complete cluster. The four of us could have had a pretty great dinner for the $720 we spent, and not had to have gone through the check-in BS we were put through... Live & learn...

I am so glad I went to the NOWFE. So many types of wine and fabulous foods and desserts to try. There were also waters and coffee provided. I took one for the team and tried almost every food they had to sample...lol...My favorite throughout the whole event was the Cucumber Basil Smash, made from Hendricks Gin. Didn't knew I was a Gin kind of gal! I've enclosed the recipe for it under my photos. My friend and I had such a great time that we definitely will attend it next year again. I highly recommend it, the whole experience was wonderful. I left totally in a food coma.
