Had a shotgun that had been passed down to me in dire need of repair. I went to multiple gun shops around the area and they all told me it was a lost cause. The team at Clarks came through and fixed it better than I could have hoped. Very reasonable and responsive. Will definitely be a repeat customer.

This review is purely for "George", The man that answers the phone and questions. I have spoken with George twice, Both times he has answered my questions and then gone on to ramble about other fascinating things that may be related to my question or speak to others experience. George strikes me as the kind of person I could listen to for hours as he tells stories and shares his extensive knowledge. Phenomenal experience with calling in, Keep up the great work George!

Well, for starters, when you look at the 5 Star reviews of Clark’s Custom Guns, you will see a “Logan Clark”, a “Dr. Lori Bius-Clark”, a “J. Clark”, as well as a “Wayne C.”, left 5 Star reviews for Clark’s Custom Guns. The fact that a business depends on those associated with the business to leave 5 star reviews, speaks volumes. It leaves you to wonder, just how many of the other positive reviews were left by friends and family? Now that we have that out of the way, let’s get down to the very serious issue of firearms safety, or should I say a lack of it? My wife and I went in Clarks to see about getting some work done on her favorite Colt Python. The first thing we noticed was the millennial behind the counter was so busy boasting and bragging about his shooting abilities, to what appeared to be one of his little buddies, that he didn’t notice, or seem to care, that multiple customers entered. No big deal. We were all young once. The second millennial, that was behind the counter, actually acknowledged us and asked if we needed anything? That’s a nice start, but it all went downhill from there. I explained the desired work, and handed Millennial #2 a locked gun case, with a key to the case. At that time, Millennial #2 opened the case, looked at my wife’s beautiful blued Colt Python and exclaimed, “WOW!!!! NICE PIECE!!!I’ve never referred to firearms as “pieces”, but okay. The alarming thing is, Millennial # 2 picked up the Colt Python, never opened the cylinder and pointed the muzzle directly at Millennial #1 and his buddy!!!! Millennial #1 was too caught up with bragging about his shooting abilities, to even notice a gun was pointed right at him.I immediately took possession of the Python and put it back in the case. I grabbed my wife by the hand and said let’s get out of here, before one of these clowns has a negligent discharge and shoots someone.Never again, will we enter that place. If you chose to do so, I would advise you to wear body armor, purchase a cemetery plot, pay a funeral home for your funeral , make sure your will is up to date and carry the contact information, for your next of kin, with you.Nobody that ignores the basic rules of firearms safety will EVER do any work on any firearm that belongs to anyone in my family. End of story!

Revolver lovers bewareI sent an S&W 929 to have a barrel replaced on 4/28/21. I was told it would be finished by December 2021. There was no communication during that time period, not 1 of my emails was replied back to.The lack of communication forced me to call to check on the status of the work. When I did call, all I got was attitude and a question of has anyone contacted me like I was a hassle to them. Some time at the end of 2021 to the beginning's of 2022 I was told only when I was calling to check on my gun that the gunsmith was injured and it would take longer than expected.I received the 929 in August of 2022, I immediately saw that something was wrong. My extractor rod was cut and would not function. I believe that they were to lazy to cut the under lug to fit. I had to send it back for repair. The 929 is in route back to me and its 10/27/22.It is hard to send work to a company that does not care or does not communicate with their customers.

Pricing: 10/10 | Customer Service: 10/10 | Custom gun work: 10/10A few weeks back I sent my 1911 in for some custom work. An expensive venture, but something I’ve wanted for a long time. The turn around time was AWESOME! The work was AWESOME! However, I noticed an issue. I contacted Clark Custom Guns about this issue and they were quick to fix it. Not an easy fix either. In this lifetime, we will all make mistakes, but its businesses like CCG that will earn my business for life.

These people wrote the book on customer service.! Passing through and decided to stop. After looking at for sale 10/22's and not seeing what I wanted a second person pulled a custom order from the back. Did my best to buy it but they would not sell it to me. So, instead the two employees got together and built me one on the spot. After assembly one test fired while the other ran my back ground and helped me with ammunition. Five shots stacked on top of each other. Impressive, yes but I was equally impressed by the service. If you have the means I would highly recommend Clark Custom Guns and his staff to anyone.March 2020. Returned to Clark’s and dropped off my original 10/22. I had them do a complete overhaul on it for my son’s birthday. The work was complete in less than two weeks and mailed back. You would have thought he went form 30 back down to 10. Immediately put a scope on it and started shooting. It was a special gift from me to him. And thanks to the expertise and craftsmanship of Clark Custom Guns it will be passed down for generations.

First class operation. I sent in a new, never fired, S&W 10-14 to have the 4" barrel exchanged for a 3" S&W barrel they had. When they removed the old barrel and started to tap the threads for the new barrel, the frame cracked. Most places would have sent the broken gun back and that would be that. Clarks not only got me another S&W 10-14, replaced that 4" barrel with the 3" barrel, put in a combat trigger and a hammer that had been tuned up, Fedex Overnighted it to me, and didn't charge me a dime, for my distress and inconvenience. I would definitely do business with Clark Custom Guns again, anytime. They stand behind their work and if you're not satisfied, they're not satisfied. I highly recommend them for your more extensive gunsmithing needs... My local gunsmith recommended them to me, and I am estatic with the results of the trigger action and the new(to me) 3" barrel.

The Clark Team has provided me with 2 highly customized barrels for a Model 41, a completely customized model 41 (including perfect tolerance hard chroming) all for Precision Pistol Match Competition. I have NO reservations referring them to any picky, demanding, Master Class competitor... Period.
