Not very helpful tragedies and misfortunes happen at any given time and they have a 6 month time frame

Being apart of the providence house was a traumatic experience for me. I was moved into my “journey home” just to be evicted out bcc the lies that was told. I never received any financial assistance from Providence like they said they would. My case manager tried to treat me like a brainless convict. She strongly dislikes black people. The rabbit hole is deep.
Providence means God’s guidance. But the ones who are in there are definitely mistreating innocent people. But I survived and my faith grew. But I pray that Providence house gets rid of the ENTIRE STAFF ESPECIALLY BRISTO!!!! There is no genuine interest in helping people there. Gracefully, I know who God is. All is well. I have recordings also waiting to be shared!

Honestly I haven't had an experience with the Providence house personally. I rated it 5 stars because when I went there to yalls toy distribution to your clients the lady I spoke with outside gave me some helpful information regarding my situation and I thought it was very kind of her to do so. She didn't have to and she did and I truly appreciated it.

Lived here some years back with my kids and got an apartment really fast. The only problem is you won't have 100 percent privacy.

I'm not sure how to rate this place. I read the reviews and a year ago, plus, this place brought great reviews. But ot hasn't anymore. Even with Covid this place should've had enough to help the homeless. But I see the workers are out for themselves. They speak of other cases with other families without consent. The things we donate are given to certain families and not all. The counselors are being very laxed with treatment and their time. We are all going through it because of Covid but this place of supposed caring should not have been affected. I donated again today. I wonder if the staff will pick through it before the people. I saw where their donations were. I know that if I and everyone else that spoke of donations could see how little there was in this room you would be SHOCKED. Where is all of it going if not to your people? Even the head should be held accountable. Why are there no good reports as of a year ago? Are the staff getting greedy? Do they not care anymore? What has been happening in this last year?

Im sure everybodies experience is different. But personally and honestly i wouldnt recommend . Dont get me wrong i appreciate the roof over my kids heads an the opportunity to save my money so i can get my own place and not a hotel. You can barely if at get any of the stuff thats donated. The one advocate theres really no words for but sad. Ms davis will talk to you like a child . Poorly ran period.

I appreciate the Providence House. When I donate to them, I feel like my donations are truly going to those in need of them.
