Our first time smelt fishing since moving to Maine! The smelts were not biting tonight, but we had a great time anyway. The shack was confortable, and well stocked with wood and bait, the wood stove was excellent, the ice was safe, and it was all very scenic. It was a wonderful adventure. We'll be back!

The best place I know to go smelt fishing. The staff are very friendly and the shacks are nice. Definitely recommend them!

We went here to catch some smelts but did not get a nibble. Did have fun hanging out at the cabins and cooking up supper. Parking is an issue.

If you drive by worthings that's your first mistake Jim's camp's are top of the line clean and have a nice stove for cooking and stuff but the fishing sucks and his boy ol red is a real doush bag just a place where local kids go to drink
And if you think it's the best place to catch smelt in Maine you banged your head and should get that checked out bub

The absolute best smelting camps, period! Clean, warm, stocked with wood, free bait with your shack and great customer service.
The atmosphere is always great, even when the smelts aren't being cooperative. I've never had a bad time here and would recommend Jim's Camps to anyone.

Meh....not a single bite for a whole tide yesterday. When I called and asked how the fishing was she said she didn't know. I wished she has been honest and told me the fishing was dismal before I drove 45 minutes over to not even go home with a single smelt.
Response to Jim's
Strange that you say Monday was 1st day because I called last weekend and ya'll were booked up.....
