Went in for a roll of quarters to use the laundromat down the street, did not leave with a roll of quarters. I don't really care what the reason is why it couldn't be done, there just isn't really any legitimate excuse to deny a transaction that's so incredibly simple.

This credit union has done nothing for me. I have applied for loan products and been denied even with fair credit and good income and work history. The ATM are often down. The customer service has been substandard most of the time. The last straw was when I made an ATM deposit and it ate money and crashed in the middle of the deposit, then the tellers couldn't access the money to fix it because it was a Saturday and they needed the codes from someone that wouldn't be in until Monday. With so many other options for banking in the area I don't see the need to give them chances any longer. Take your business elsewhere!!!

absolutely the worst possible option. they lie about the accounts, hide fees an abilities. the attitude they have typically doesn't help either.

It would seem that only one maybe two people are relatively decent at their job. Wonderful experience waiting 20+ minutes to even talk to somebody and that person takes 30m just to cash a check. I promise you will wait and leave very unhappy everytime. Just when you have a decent experience they will find a way to screw it up for you, trust me its only happened every other visit.

This bank has no clue of its processes or policies. Trying to close an account of a deceased family member took 2 phone calls, 2 visits and over 2 hours of time. The funniest part about the whole nightmare was there was less than $300 in the account! Now its principle- you will not have that money!

I always recommend fccu until recently. i refered my son for a loan and the process was unacceptable and involved 5 different people over several days, wrong information, lost paper work etc. 5 days to close a loan you were preapproved for is not okay. try to speak to a supervisor and am told no one is in charge of loans. when finally spoke to VP she was very cold and didn't really care that there was significant issues. recently had to dispute a credit card charge was given wrong info by two people. there was no follow up by the credit union to say it was wrong and paper work did not go thru. there has been a ton of turn over lately. i would be skeptical to recommend to anyone at this point.

The service is above and beyond in Windham Maine. They all have been so nice and helpful! Highly recommend this Credit Union to anyone who expects great customer service!

I want to thank Five County for their courage and leadership to make the decision to accept medical marijuana businesses into their membership. They are 1 of 2 credit unions in Maine to do this. They also have great customer service and staff at the Waterville location, are open till 8PM weekdays and also have hours on Saturdays.

Five county is a great credit union I have been with banks before but they do not equally to the great service with five county. Every teller I have ever dealt with has always been nice and kind and has made sure my questions has been answered. I would never think about switching banks. Keep up the great work five county
