Consumer beware. I used to go here but recently things have changed. So our vehicle was brought in for an oil change and diagnostic to determine why we keep getting an engine light. Vehicle was dropped off in the morning yesterday 11/5/2025. Come 1:30 no phone call. My spouse called and was told the oil change was done but the other work was forgotten (my words). 5:30 comes and still no update. My spouse calls again and told we will hear from someone first thing this morning. It is now past their closing time and absolutely no update whatsoever today. After several attempts to contact but no response. Our car has now been with them for almost 48 hours and still no update whatsoever. I have had okay service in the past but this is absolutely unacceptable customer service. There has to be communication even if they’re delays. Nothing. I will be contacting them again tomorrow. This may be the last time going here regardless how convenient the location is from our home. You cannot expect customers to remain customers with this type of service and lack of communication. The time management and overall management of the workload has significantly declined to the point I will no longer be a customer. Not to mention their prices are a bit too high for this lack of customer service. I’m extremely angry and saddened Singer has gone to this level. Something has to change but it won’t be at my expense anymore.

I’ve tried to be patient throughout this process, but I need to be honest. It’s been frustrating, mostly because of the lack of communication.
Here’s what’s happened:
On August 22 at 8:30 AM, I dropped off my car to have the AC looked at. It was blowing cool air, but not cold. I didn’t hear anything all day, so I called at 4:30 PM and was told you were trying to get a hose from Toyota. I was also told I could pick up the car the next day if it wasn’t ready.
On August 23 at 8:30 AM, I came in expecting to pick up the car. Instead, I was told for the first time that the rear brakes needed to be replaced. I approved the work and paid for the brakes. I was also given a quote for the AC repair and told the hose would arrive on Tuesday, August 26. That trip could have been avoided. If I had been told about the brakes on the 22nd, I would have approved the work and picked up the car when it was ready.
On August 26, I didn’t hear anything. I was expecting a call to bring the car back in for the AC repair, but no one reached out.
On September 9, I finally got a call and scheduled an appointment for September 12.
On September 12 at 8:30 AM, I dropped the car off again. I called at 2:30 PM to check on the status and was told the job was more labor intensive than expected because the suspension needed to be dropped. I was also told the tech wouldn’t be in on Saturday but would be back Monday. Again, no heads-up. If I had known, I would have made arrangements. I can’t go this long without a car, and I shouldn’t have to chase updates every time.
On September 19 at 8:30 AM, I dropped the car off again. I called at 5:00 PM to check on the status and was told the car would be finished on Saturday. I was disappointed to hear someone say I had been told this job would take multiple days. That’s not true. If I had been told that, I would have arranged for a rental.
The timeline has stretched far beyond what I was told, and every update has only come after I reached out first. I’m asking for a clear explanation of what’s going on. I’m starting to lose confidence that this job is something the shop can handle. I’m also feeling uneasy about leaving my car in your care when I wasn’t told upfront that this would take multiple days.
This experience has been the complete opposite of the great service I’ve had in the past, and that my family members have had. I even bought four tires from your shop earlier this summer. I hope this feedback is taken seriously.

I've been a customer of Singer Auto & Tire Center for nearly two decades, and I keep coming back because of their exceptional customer service, fair pricing, and consistently high-quality work. Over the years, they've taken care of everything from routine oil changes and new tires to major mechanical work on my vehicles.
What sets Singer apart is the personal touch of a locally owned business—where the owner is hands-on and genuinely cares about customers. It’s a refreshing change from the impersonal experience and high staff turnover you often find at large national chains.
My wife and daughter also trust Singer with their vehicles and receive the same courteous, reliable service that’s kept me coming back all these years. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dependable, honest auto shop.

These guys are excellent! They are able to do everything. They take the time to diagnose issues and explain what needs to be done to correct issues. They are spot on when estimating costs and are very fair in pricing. I trust these guys with my car more than I would any dealership or other mechanic.

Convenient location but that's about it! I can't support a company that touts that they are like family trying to be all wholesome when I witnessed disrespect by the owner himself! What an example to set. Furthermore the lies about needing repairs are atrocious! This is a dealership that preys on women. Little do they know I have been a service advisor at a dealership and my grandfather taught me how to change oil, brakes, fuses and tires. They lied to the wrong female!

I am officially done bringing my vehicles, you more than one!! They put new Rotors & Pads both front and rear Brakes.. the day I picked up my vehicle, ABS and limited slip protection light was on. I told them before I left the lot it was on. I was told it would go out, I gave it time, then I called and explained that it's still coming on at different times. They had my vehicle the whole day, then said it will be a $300+ repair for a sensor. I don't have the time to have it fixed but they had the time to charge me for looking at it... when the issue came about AFTER MY BRAKE PADS AND ROTORS WERE DONE AND I DIDN'T LEAVE THE PARKING LOT.....
WISH THEM WELL, THE $160.00 bill I paid today will equal the lost income from oil changes and maintenance of my several vehicles of mine that will be in someone else's shop... 🙃

Back in February 2024, I took my 2014 Kia Soul to my dealer for a check engine light on, I was told it was Catalytic Converter, the manifold one! Didn’t know my car had 2! In any event, was told it would be $3,300!!! Nope! My friend said let me get you an estimate from Singer Auto! He did, and holy crap! They gave me two different options… $1,200! And $1,300! Needless to say, took the lower price and the work was done! 2 months later, my car was stolen but Police found it 2 weeks later! Luckily, the only damage was to the ignition key and steering wheel! Without hesitation, I took it to Singer Auto! They arranged the tow and worked with my adjuster and fixed my car! Just to see what it would cost from the dealer, was told that only a dealer can reprogram the key fob and no repair shops could do it! And because of the cost from them, my adjuster said that the Insurance Company would probably total my car! Thank God that Singer did the work! My car has never cost me anything but normal maintenance other than the Catalytic Converter issue and I didn’t want to have a car payment or pay these inflated prices now! I know this is long but now to the real reason that I’m writing this review! About 2 weeks ago while taking my car to the dealer for my free oil changes, was told the check engine light came on…. the Catalytic Converter! Told them do the oil change and I’ll think about the other issue! Drove right to Singer and was told it was out of warranty by a little over a month, but they would repair it at no cost! Thank you Mike and Brian at Singer! So, if you need work done on your car, even fro just an oil change or a major repair….dont hesitate, take it to Singer Auto! You won’t be sorry!

I needed a hitch & harness for my new Mazda CX 70. My dealer was going to rake me near double what Singer charged me. Singer was professional in all ways and I will definitely go back for service work as needed.

They help me repair my flat tire in an emergency situation. I was trying to get home to VA...driving from NY. Then in the middle of 95 a nail went through my tire. The help and professionalism was above and beyond.

Called looking for a used tire, and the guy explained that he didn't sell used tires, but could help me with new ones! He was very nice and polite. He asked me my size, was able to look it up, and gave me an amazing price. I felt very comfortable and confident and will be using them in the near future!

Great shop and people! They have done a variety of services on both my vehicles and the work has been superb. Heck, one time I asked for a service and they informed me the service is not recommended on my particular vehicle, I just don't think many shops do that! I also like that they don't overbook, if you make an appointment you can be sure your car will be worked on that day. Go to Singer Auto, they'll take care of you.
