I have been with Bank of America for a long time, and for the most part, I am satisfied with the service; however, I will say that I have had some issues with atm machines at the Merritt Blvd location.
On many occasion, I have gone to deposit my check, only to receive a message that they are not accepting deposits at that time. Last week I went to two of the three atm machines. The first one was had the icon just circling in a loop, as if it were thinking. I tried re-inserting my card several times, with no luck, so I finally drove around the building and chose the second atm, only to be told that they were not accepting deposits.
This is super frustrating, especially since most of the time, I can't simply back up-I have to drive around the building. Secondly, the next closest atm is in Essex, since they have closed other locations that were closer to Dundalk.
I realize that the banks don't actually own the ATMs but my God, there should be a way to control this. Switch to a different company if possible, crack down on the employees who are responsible for cleaning out the machines, so that they do not get so full that they are unable to take in deposits.
The banks may not own the machines, but it's their customers who have to deal with this nonsense.

Expect to wait 20-30 minutes in line, just to do a simple deposit.

Couldn’t Cash in a Check from Bank of America.Went to another Bank of America and wasn’t any problem at all.Plane and simple useless.

Was buying a $380 jacket at Dick’s today the card said chip malfunction twice then the cashier said tap the card then it said decline, did it again and it said decline again called the wife and she already got a security notification on my card and she said everything is ok now so got back in line and paid for the jacket , get home and they took out all 3 attempts of payment ! On the phone now trying to get my money back , this is straight up theft, when they’re the ones purposely declining my card

Used ATM machine to pay my bill on December14th, 2023 around noon. I scanned my card and i put $200 first and then $300 and once I selected receipt option screen went blank and payment didn’t applied to my card. I went inside the branch to see if they can help me but instead of checking the ATM or offering any help. Ask for Manager. teller told me nothing she can do and gave me number to call to file a claim. When I called to file a claim I was told it will take 8 weeks to investigation. No help at all, very rude and I was very upset after loosing $500. I left unsatisfied. Will not go back. Will not recommend Bank of America.

The manager is a racist, he didn't want to take care of me and my friend because they are Latinos, having a seat, we arrived at the place and he made a lot of excuses not to attend to us

Sr. Damon is So professional, I would Recommend him for everything, if you need help with opening an account or have any problems with your BOA account he’ll be there and help you. 10/10 service provided by him!
