I saw a simulcast from the Met in NY of an opera called Dead Man Walking. It was amazing! The Charles has more than ample space between the rows of seats, which is a major plus. The concessions area is very warm and cozy.

Cute place. They show very obscure foreign and independent films. I'll definitely become a regular

Absolutely a Baltimore gem. They have great programming, showing new and older films. Small theaters like this are few and far between. We are lucky to have The Charles!
