I love this place. All the plants are healthy and beautiful. They have everything you need and more! The soil they sell is the best. The staff are all very friendly, eager to help, and answer questions. Especially my favorite person, Kelly. She knows everything! Oh, and the beautiful Christmas wreaths and trees are my favorite!

Took a stroll through Van Houten Gardens st 2205 E Churchville Rd, Bel Air, MD 21015 boy do they have quite the selection of pumpkins and gourds I just had to buy myself one or three even though I was already able to scavenge a nice large, half smashed and rottened pumpkin that I could carve up or paint and turn around so no one would be the wiser, sticker on it said $17
But really I had only grabbed the damaged one in case they had closed already, I still wanted to support a local business so when I saw the lady step out I was glad I hadn't just walked on by
and the lady working there, Kelly her name is, was such a sweetie, oh what a delight, she even threw in a free carving knife for me, THANKS KELLY!!! HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

This shop always has a wonderful selection of plants and very kind & knowledgeable employees!They had all I was looking for and more!!!!! Tropicals, pollinators, crazy selection of herbs, many annuals & perennials!

I go their every Saturday to but my fresh tomatoes and the lady that always waited on me wasn’t their was a young wearing a mash she was very rude I ask me to move my car I was the only person their then I ask her for a bag I only had two tomatoes she said I give you a box which was very big for two tomatoes and in front their were bags that person needs to be trained in customer service I won’t stop again if I see her working .I been a regular customer a 4 years need to get her away from your business I’m in the customers industry she would never work for me .Unhappy customer

Had everything I was looking for plus! Plants in great shape. Staff all helpful and knowledgeable. Prices a little bit high, but worth it with it with high quality plants!

One of the few places that still had arrangements, wreathes and small trees left a day before Christmas Eve. Love my Fir arrangement! Smells like Christmas in the house now ?
