I met with Jen today to do a full balayage on my hair. I wasn’t happy with my hair at another salon so she put in some low lights and some highlights and gave me a cut. Jen is the sweetest and did a fantastic job. Really happy with my hair, I’ll be back!

Jaz, made the shampoo experience so fun and relaxing! She does this awesome towel wrap trick post-wash? Absolutely creative and Legendary! She should absolutely trade mark it!

Terrible front desk staff. Terrible website. Do not make an Appointment online as impossible to cancel. Disrespectful Would not recommend nor return. Inflexible when they, not me, made a mistake of not canceling an appointment with a stylist.

I have been going to Ira Ludwick Salon for about 10 years. I followed my stylist Jen. I’ve actually known Ira since high school and he helped do my hair for my wedding! But without Jen, I would never have met Jaz or Stacey or the rest of the awesome stylists at salon. My daughters have even dappled with color and cut. My hair gets the best at Ira Ludwick!

I had Conway and oh my God he was so sweet and personable. He did the style how I requested and was very knowledgeable. Not only that, but they squeezed me in very last minute and made it super easy and convenient. I highly recommend the salon!!! :)

conway has been my go-to barber for the past 5 years, and his work is nothing short of exceptional. i've really enjoyed building a relationship with him and i'm always updating him on my life. i always get a fade because i think it's the best look for someone like me, and conway knows how to tailor to my desires. i've explored and tried many different barbers throughout the time, and no one else has even come close to conway's skills. he knows how to work with my hair, unlike other barbers i've visited, and he's one of the nicest people i know. and of course i always leave him a generous tip. here's to many more haircuts to come, provided by a man with true talent!

Wow just wow. I made my appointment last minute due to an emergency and had no trouble getting in. I was placed with Jen, who has to be the sweetest and kindest person I’ve ever met. I have serious anxiety especially getting my hair or other services done but I have never felt so comfortable. She is so talented and did exactly what I wanted. Not only was Jen amazing but Jazmin helped wash my hair and she was also so so incredibly sweet. I have never been so happy with my hair I came to my car and cried about how pretty I felt. This was hands down the best experience I have ever had at a salon and I hope I can come back sometime soon!!

Great salon with superb services and cool interior with a lot of natural light. Have been a customer for many years first of couple of young stylists who were briefly there and moved from MD to FL & CA and for a while with Nicole but since I discovered Terrence 3 years ago I am even more impressed with this place. He's so meticulous in his work always attentive to clients needs. He's very skilled professional and it's hard to say what he does better styling or color. He also did my teenage son 's hair cut couple of times and did excellent job.Kind and gentle Terrence is a quiet gem of Ira Ludwig salon.Services: Hairstyling

I had provided a favorable prior review but my experience with this salon has since sharply declined.I've been going to professional salons for over 30 years with an average tenure of 6 years at a salon. I'd been patronizing this salon for 2 1/2 years and while my initial experience with the stylist was favorable, I was repeatedly having very unpleasant encounters with Ira who on several occasions was abusive and derogatory and the last encounter was so humiliating I had to inform the stylist I could not continue. Yet I always treated the stylist and staff with utmost respect and tipped generously on every visit. Concurrent with the unpleasant encounters the quality of the haircuts were declining while they were raising prices without even providing notice which I've never experienced at other salons. Further they hired a new receptionist who lacked basic communication skills and caused unnecessary ordeals and miscommunications that Ira only compounded.I've since changed to another professional salon in the area that appreciates my patronage and shows a great deal more class. After the decline in services, price increases without notice and awful experiences with the owner I do not recommend this salon.RESPONSE TO OWNER'S COMMENTS:Contrary to Ira's comments below, I specifically emailed the salon asking to cancel my scheduled appointments and took my business elsewhere. At no time was I told to stop going there. The owner actually wrote in his response to my prior review: "it's been such a pleasure to work with you over this past year..." IT'S UNFORTUNATE THE OWNER HAS TO RESORT TO A DISHONEST AND ARROGANT RESPONSE TO DISPARAGE MY POOR EXPERIENCE RATHER THAN HONESTLY ADDRESS CONCERNS STATED. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND AGAINST THIS SALON!Services: Hair coloring
