Great little store! Friendly staff and some unexpected instruments and gear. I traded in some pedals and walked away with some new treasures.

I can't say enough good things about Music Go Round! I purchased a pre-owned flute from them at the beginning of the school year. Not long after we had a problem with the corkage. They promptly has it replaced and put us in a loaner while it was out for repair. The flute worked well for another month and then there was a problem with the B-flat key not sealing correctly. Gary the manager stepped right up and give us a replacement flute at no additional charge. What a great place to do business!

Good customer service. Nice selection of merchandise. Not as intimidating as some other music stores.

Great location and great staff. Took my bass guitar in for minor service and Charlie fixed the problem within minutes. Lots of hidden treasure hanging on the walls too.

Local, great staff. Trade in prices are ok, they do pretty well with sell prices and better service than a lot of places.

Picked up some great gear at a more than reasonable price. Staff was friendly and helpful. There's really no reason to patronize Guitar Center with a place like this in town.

Had a great experience at Music Go Round - Cockeysville! I'd been searching for a Roland MC-505 for a while. They sold me one that they refurbished in great shape :) This store goes above and beyond and I'm happy to do business with them!

I purchased a 2015 Martin D-28 guitar at Music Go Round. The guitar needed some adjustments and Jim, the owner, arranged for a professional setup and inspection by a luthier at no cost to me. The guitar plays well and sounds great!

Great local music store with a lot of very well maintained used equipment and select new items too. The staff is fantasic- knowledgeable and friendly. I have also had numerous guitars in for general maintenance, set-up, and super tune and the attention to detail is top notch. Highly recommended!

I wish I could give these guys more stars, but I just can't justify it to myself. I've been coming here for about a year or so, but I feel as though my last visit may be my last for a long time.Let's start with something good about them, though. They have a pretty good selection, although even that ebbs and flows. Now for my major problems...The staff there is alright, although they tend to come off as a bit disinterested... until you show even the slightest interest in a piece of gear.Trading in gear there is a joke. I understand that they are a business and that they need to make money. That being said, their trade in service is insulting. They will low ball you severely, offering a fraction of what they're going to sell your gear for. They are also very weird with pricing. Sometimes you find a screaming deal... sometimes they want 60 dollars for mass manufactured pedals that cost less than that brand new. One particular item comes to mind, an Aria lawsuit era Les Paul copy. While these ARE rather uncommon and CAN command high prices... the one they had didn't particularly meet either of those criterion. It was a bolt on neck, and absolutely beat up. Not in a good way, either. The paint was chipping, it was all loosely put together, and the electronics barely functioned. It felt like it was about to fall apart, truthfully. It was barely above a "salvage for parts" guitar. And they wanted 450 dollars for it, "firmly priced." The employee talked about it as if it was the ultimate rarity, and that it was a screaming deal.Honestly, I can't justify the trip down there anymore. It's very disappointing.
