These people took my deposit twice from different cards because the insurance asked me for one and then I had to pay on my own, they did it with a different card, one of them named Keyla helped me because I didn't even want to change my car and then someone called them They don't even respond, they don't want to return the money, they come out the same as the insurance companies, they even want to take the money from you and ask for information and they didn't want to assist me as it was on the phone, they were laughing at me, I think this is a lack of respect and an abuse of the people. people who seek your services

I was in an accident and had to rent a car for what I thought would be a month, turned into 5 months. However the lady's Makeda, Bianca, and Cavella to such great care of me. I cannot explain the customer service they exemplified!!! Very pleased with the services I received ??❤️!!

Follow-up review from the last review that I posted on 11/06/2023 in regard to services received from Enterprise Car Rental 5810 Baltimore Ave. Hyattsville Md. I stopped by Enterprise to reserve a rental from this location on Monday 11/06/2023 and filled out the paperwork and received the keys. The vehicle that was reserved for me had expired tags (expired Oct 2023) and I was assured that the tags would be swapped out before I got back from dropping my vehicle at the repair shop. Dropped off vehicle and had my son drive me to Enterprise Car Rental (Hyattsville Md). Picked up car rental and drove home only to find that Enterprise never changed the dead tags. Luckily, I only drove the vehicle twice, once to an appointment and when I returned the vehicle on 11/08. When I took the vehicle back to Enterprise, they gave me some weak a-- excuse why I was given a rental with dead tags which was unacceptable. Subsequently, I asked them to give me a ride to the repair shop which was about a mile away so I could pick up my vehicle and guess what, I was driven to the repair shop in the same vehicle with the dead tags. Enterprise, you have to do better than this to keep my business... Jeff D

I would leave negative stars, if I could. The staff is beyond words bad. I dropped off a car on a Friday, which was not processed until Monday. I was charged for the whole time. I had covid when I returned the car, fully masked (k95) and taking all the precautions - standing back, being outside, etc. I had approval from Enterprise to return the car to this shop b/c it was close and they knew I was sick. The woman who works there (Bianca?) yelled at me to leave the keys and get out. I tried calling and they do not answer their phone nor do they have an answering machine. I had to physically walk back to find out why my car was not being processed and was yelled at again and told I should have taken it to the airport because she "couldn't touch that car b/c you have Covid and I have kids." This is 2023, not 2020. Enterprise has policies and we all know now Covid does not stay on surfaces for that long. Also, she was yelling this while not wearing a mask or taking any precautions despite her insistence she could not afford to get Covid. This was both humiliating and unexpected. This was not my first run in with this kind of service at this location. Prior experiences include being given a car that had a broken bumper; showing up and being told they wouldn't have cars til probably 3 or 4 pm despite my 8am reservation; getting a call after 7pm to inform me they wouldn't have any cars the next day and had not checked to see if I could pick up anywhere else. It was late enough that I also could not check anywhere other than the airport. The staff is rude and acts as if they are doing you a favor by getting you a car. I cannot say enough how much you should not go to this Enterprise. If I had not been sick, I would have taken the car to anywhere else to avoid that place. I have rented from Enterprise for many years now and am loyal to Enterprise as a whole. But I would not set foot back into an Enterprise if Hyattsville was my only option.

Outstanding!Since Makeda has been there she has turned the place around.I was in a rental for 2 years due to work and Makeda and her staff were very accommodating and professional at all times. I was going to write this branch off until she came along.

I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration with a recent experience I had with one of your representatives at the Enterprise branch located at 5810 Baltimore Ave, Hyattsville, MD 20781, on September 7th, 2023.My entire family have been loyal customers of Enterprise, for over twenty years, and during that time, I have consistently received excellent service and professionalism from your company. Unfortunately, my recent encounter with a representative left me feeling extremely dissatisfied and disheartened. On September 7th, 2023, I visited your branch to return a vehicle I had rented.From the outset, I noticed a stark difference in the level of service I have come to expect from Enterprise. The representative, whose name is Bionca McClure, was incredibly rude and dismissive of my concerns. Throughout the interaction, I attempted to communicate my issues, but Bionca McClure showed a complete lack of interest in listening to me. There was a misunderstanding related to the final costs for my reservation and she spoke to me in a condescending manner and refused to address my questions or concerns, leaving me feeling humiliated and disregarded.I understand that everyone can have a bad day, but as a long-standing customer, I was taken aback by this experience, especially given the high standard of customer service I have received in the past. This incident has left me questioning my loyalty to Enterprise.

DO NOT RENT A CAR FROM HERE. Sadly I have to begin my review that way but this was the worst experience I have ever had with Enterprise. I am honestly surprised this location is still open. Let me commence by highlighting Makeeda Burton, the Branch Rental Manager at this location. She remained professional and empathetic through my entire, horrific process with one of their unruly staff members.Before I dissect my experience, Bionca McClure is an “assistant branch manager”. If anyone at corporate views this, regardless of her other credentials, she casts a shadow on this branch which results in it being unprofessional, unprincipled and overall undesirable. She was disrespectful, combative and discourteous in the most disgusting way. Nonetheless, my letter to corporate is signed and sealed in the mail.On Friday 8/4/2023 I reserved a car online for the Hyattsville location. I made my reservation between 10-10:30AM. My desired pickup time was 4:30PM. I received a call from a staff member at 4:26PM stating that there were no cars available. This is 4 minutes before my reservation, so when the staff member told me my only option was to “go to an airport and see if they have one” I asked to speak to a manager. At this time I was in my Uber and thankfully my driver returned me to my original destination. I got on the phone with Makeda Burton and she was kind, understanding and helpful. I prefaced our conversation with an apology for my obviously frustrating tone because I was getting this call 4 minutes before my pickup time. She placed me on hold and informed me they had a small SUV that I could rent and I could make my way back to the branch location. I told Makeda I had to call another Uber and it would place me there at 5:02. She responded that despite closing at 5PM it was okay to still come so I made my way back to the location.At 5:02 (my communicated arrival time), I pulled on the door and it was locked. I could see both Bianca McClure and Cavella Pratt sitting inside. I knocked on the door and tried to get their attention but they continued to twirl in their chairs, laugh and hold phone conversations. Another woman walked up who was trying to return her vehicle and she did not have any success trying to get them to come to the door either. For 7 minutes both of these staff members sat and looked at us through the glass, ignoring us and laughing. Finally at about 5:09/5:10 Bionca McClure came to the door and said “We closed” through the door. I replied and said, “I know, I spoke with the manager she told me to come.” She replied, “Who are you?” I replied “Nicole”. She said, “Nicole what?” I said, “Thomas”. She cracked the door open finally (mind you our conversation was communicated through glass) and she finally let me in when I repeated myself about having spoke with the manager.When I got to the counter, I asked Bionca, “How long were you all going to let us stand outside and knock on the door without at least asking us what we need”? She replied that they close at 5PM and they don’t have to open the door. I responded and told her that they DID need to open the door because they botched my reservation and I was told to still come regardless of my arrival time. Bionca raised her voice and obviously in my frustration I matched her. I finally was the bigger person and turned around to see a few people walking from the back. Through Bionca’s belligerence I asked who was Makeda? Can Makeda help me? Bionca proceeded to be loud, aggressive and obnoxious to the point where I was simply defending myself. I said please walk away I’m not speaking to you anymore. She continued to walk to the back, repeatedly saying, “I wouldn’t do it! I wouldn’t give her nothing’! She finally retreats to a back room and I can hear her talking through the door. She is saying, “She need to be grateful I opened the door’…and other unprofessional statements as such. The branch on Baltimore Ave always does a great job in making sure that the process runs smooth. Makeda Burton and her staff showed great hospitality as well as great customer service during my visit. I recommend them to anyone who are looking to rent and want great service.

Bianka is the best she needs to be a manager. The other young lady whom was pregnant amazing. Overall that was the best damn enterprise I have ever been to in my life. I will never go to another one. Great job ladies keep up the great work. Oh I almost forgot I left a pair of $600 Gucci shades in one of the cars and they were on given to Bianka who kept them for me. Look at that A+ service it was outstanding.
