Always has medications available on time. Super nice staff throughout the store, and all are so helpful. They will order any product that may be new or out of stock but can be accommodated. Large variety of therapeutic cosmetic, over the counter and novelty products. It's a bit crowded with its large assortment of items, but actually a fun place to wait and look around when a short wait is necessary. They take care of insurance issues if any arise, make good suggestions and are just great professionals, and always have been!

Over 50 years ago, our family discovered the family owned Kensington Phamacy located at 3737 W University Blvd North Kensington MD for the first time. We needed to rent a wheelchair to ease my Mom’s mobility issues since the whole Quigley/Foley clan was in town whisking her off downtown to go sightseeing enmasse throughout the Smithsonian museums and National monuments that sprall in every corner of the DMV. We were delighted the original owner- proprietor / Pharmacist Dr Tunc was so friendly and helpful. Since Dr Tunc passed away - his wife Mrs Pinar Tunc and his two Pharmacist daughters “Dr Z” and “Dr Malika” with their covey of very warm colleagues and assistants have carried on that spirit and continued the “family”tradition to give of themselves genuinely and lovingly providing professional, personable and perfect service ( the 3 P’s) to an ever widening community…
Nestled on University Ave West in Kensington, MD surrounded near by many “necessities” shops in several different shopping centers, a variety of restaurants, various banks, post office and easy access to the unique Kensington Antique Row for “fun” shopping sprees, Kensington Pharmacy is at the heart of the community and easily accessible and has ample parking… Open 6 days a week and offers delivery services if needed assures one that your physicians can refer all your prescriptions there which then can be readily available for you “the patient”without a hitch and therefore a very trusted partner in ensuring the “complete continuum” of appropriate and reliable pharmaceutical/medical care for the population from infants to the elderly…
In addition to filling prescriptions for patients, Kensington Pharmacy also offers other medical services to include among others recommending, and advising, and answering questions regarding patient care. Also some medical mobility equipment, (for sale only now) is a available. Finally professional Pharmacists provide injections on site for seasonal dis-eases and specific vaccinations for scheduled school requirements as well as special vaccination campaigns such as for COVID 19 and Shingles for a few examples.
Finally, the shop offers over-the-counter products as well as other sundry items including a “huge “ selection of cookies, sweets and chocolate from the family homeland of Turkey - “ah a wonderful entre to their ancestral culture and cuisine”.
Moreover, complementing all the above is the extremely warm, welcoming atmosphere and hospitality shown to their customers/clients. The whole Kensington Team are extremely HUMANE SPIRITS WITH BEAUTIFUL SOULS!

This is just the greatest pharmacy. They are so careful, kind, helpful and efficient. I wish I had found them years ago. They answer questions, are endlessly helpful. Free delivery. I highly recommend them to everyone.

Kensington Pharmacy is the model for what every pharmacy should be- kind, thoughtful, helpful, and incredibly efficient! I can’t imagine going anywhere else. Family care for generations and it shines through.

It's a unique shop they sell a lot of unusual things but useful things if you look closely. They used to have a lottery stand but i think they took it out not sure.

They've really gone downhill I had a broken tooth in three places and they forgot to deliver my medication also they threaten not to deliver my medication when I got upset about it which is against Maryland law

Excellent pharmacy with personalized service. This pharmacy always goes the extra step to obtain our family's medication. I was having a hard time locating a medication that is not very common. They were able to obtain it the next day. Thank you again, we will continue to keep our business with Kensington Pharmacy.

My fiancee just made a phone call to inquire about where she could find an oxygen tank for her grandmother in case of emergency power outages. The man who picked up was extremely rude and unhelpful, promptly hanging up the phone after providing no help at all. This is unacceptable especially given the desperate circumstances that people may be calling with questions. I would give them 0 stars if I could.

Disappointing that the local town pharmacy was so dismissive. I called about a prescription and the man who answered the phone could not wait to hang up. I had simple basic questions.

Extremely rude and unprofessional over the phone. Family member called to ask a question regarding a family member in a critical health condition. Employee responded in a very rude manner before hanging up the phone while still speaking to him. Will not be a returning customer or refer this business to anyone else.
