checked in on kiosk, kiosk says i will get a text when im ready to be called back. never got a text. came back an hour later and waited forever for someone to come to the front desk. lady said i was called numerous times, informed that kiosk said i would get a text and never got one. as the lady is giving me my lab orders, other front desk lady comes up to the front and is saying "i did! i did" at the lady who is helping me and rolling her eyes , obviously talking about calling me back and making it obvious that she is talking about me, but said nothing to me or looked at me. shady and weird. makes the office look bad for sure. professionalism is key. :)

"Medical staff should maintain professional ethics, respect..." That's a direct quote from another reviewer here who complained about a certain lab tech at the Olney, MD location. I have a feeling the subject of his complaint may be a woman called CHENESE who was very rude and aggressive towards me today. When I asked her to be civil, instead of apologizing, she raised her voice at me, and argued. Her voice is loud. It's loud because she likes to intimidate patients by shouting them down. Then it became clear that she slow-walked my 12:00pm appointment so that I finally had to ask someone else at the check-in to check my appointment status. At that point I was seen immediately for my blood draw - although it was 12:30pm by then. From this it's safe to conclude that Chenese is also spiteful.I appreciate the manager's help in rescuing my appointment from wherever Chenese had apparently dumped it.It's my opinion that Chenese shouldn't be working with the public. And as a senior citizen who gets frequent blood work, I found it traumatic to encounter someone like her.

DO NOT I repeat DO NOT go to this Labcorp location. They give false positives on urine tests. They could’ve gotten me into some very serious trouble had I not double tested my urine the next day at an entirely different company (did not want to go to another labcorp location either!) At first I balled out laughing at the audacity of it all when my doctor called with the results because my urine test came out positive for a very very very dangerous drug but now I’m just super pissed! I can’t believe Labcorp is getting away with this level of incompetence!!

Good and quick service, no problems with bloodwork. Not very busy on Saturday morning so I imagine walk ins don't have to wait too long.I called the facility when it opened to see if the bloodwork request was present virtually by my doctor since I misplaced the hard copy my doctor gave me. I never got a callback and there was no option to wait on hold to ensure I got a person. When I arrived for my appointment the lady at reception was very helpful when I arrived and confirmed my paperwork was submitted virtually by my doctor so all's well that ends well but I'd like the ability to wait on hold so I know the system's working for 5 stars.

I will never go anywhere else. Been to this location many times and it’s always quick and easy. Don’t need an appointment you can walk in and the staff is super friendly and courteous. LabCorp is not in a dingy basement like other labs. Nice bright relaxing office. I went to quest diagnostics in the same medical complex one time….never ever again! They are horrible!

Totally incompetent technician attempting to perform blood work . Would not recommend to friends, neighbors, or strangers.

I do not remember the name of the technician serving my mother that day but we are really upset and disappointed about that experience. I won't take my mother to this location anymore.Firstly, I helped my mother check in online by the link in the text message and we waited in the car. We headed inside when getting a notification. After scanning her ID, I noticed the other ID of someone who forgot it in the scanner. I brought it to the check-in window, and the black lady there (who also did my mother's blood work) was talking to the patient and ignored me after many times I said "Excuse me". She may think that I would bother her with questions so she pretends not to hear me. I had to say: "Someone forgot his ID". Then she took it without "Thank you or Sorry".After that, she yelled: "Hey, coming" without looking at us, so we did not know that she was calling us. She should have called my mother's name because her information was entered at check-in. That action is impolite. She asked some required questions very quickly and then gave us the cup to take a urine test. After my mother had done getting urine, we were confused about where to put the cup in. Because there were a lot of tools and medical kinds of stuff, we did not want to put this cup randomly and got messed up things. That technician was engrossed in her phone and kept ignoring me when I asked. She just said to put it in the back, no specific place instruction. We are not employees; how can we be familiar with this place? I tried to ask more, but she did not reply to me. Thus, we went straight on all the way back, then I asked the other technician who was busy with another patient but she showed me respectfully. Finally, the technician, who was racist and impolite to us, came to take my mother's blood. My mother was in great pain because this technician deliberately stabbed the needle very hard into my mother's arm. We assure you that this is not slander as both my mother and I have experienced many blood works and we have never been treated like this. I intended to ignore what she did at first, but the way she purposely hurt my mother, I couldn't accept it. My mother endured until she got to the car, because she was afraid that I would get mad and make a big deal of it there. Thus, I didn't notice her nametag, but she didn't seem to be wearing it either. After returning home, my mother's arm was bruised in the area of taken blood. I request the department to take responsibility and solve this case. Medical staff should maintain professional ethics, respect, and gentleness with patients. We as humans have the rights to be treated fairly and respectfully. We use paid services and follow the rules and always respect the medical staff but why are there employees who treat patients so rudely?

This place is an absolute clown show. We made an appointment which was completely futile because apparently the system you can make an appointment on (labcorp.com/labs-and-app…) doesn't "talk to their system." We showed up four times to try and have a pediatric phlebotomist draw blood and were told (see: lied to) that the one person was in various states of not being on campus, including at lunch and then finally, on PTO. We asked when she would be back and showed up the following week when specified only to be told that she wasn't there and wouldn't be there again. They do not allow you to make an appointment in person, so if you need a pediatric phlebotomist, go literally anywhere else.

Lapcorp is not following through on their comments about the services offered at this particular lab. There should be someone from corporate office to oversee and monitor what’s going on for receiving and taking blood from patients. From personal experience is was awful. Poking my arm numerous times, not swiping the area with alcohol before injecting the needle. I was so severely bruised and sore I went home bandage my arm and took pain medication. The next day I was called and told I had to get another blood test because the machine broke down and did not get a true reading of the results. In the meantime my doctor received the test results and called me that evening. I am not going into personal details because the test results are worthless. After this ordeal I went to another Lapcorp. At this new location the phlebotomists were excellent in handling patients, with helpful and pleasant interaction and the actual taking of the blood was easy, clean, and painless. No bruising! The computer check-in for Lapcorp is awful. It should be accessible and easy to use to ALL that enter the lab. The actual computer stand should be easily adjustable to accommodate any short, tall, wheelchair bound, cane carrying, blind or any other disabled person. The font on the computer screen should be revised to a larger bolder type. The timing should be extended so you have time to get the information requested and entered it into the computer. This computer check-in should be much more user friendly and accommodating. Have they not heard of the Americans with Disability Act?From reading the reviews I know this is falling on deaf hears. Healthcare is a business and is geared towards the doctors and profiting and not the patients. Blaming COVIC-19 for this so called non-contact with patients procedures should be done away with and have a competent intake office manager, masked and behind a petition to greet and assist incoming guests and patients. Phone calls to the Lapcorp are never answered. After listening to a speech about Lapcorps expectations, the caller must follow prompts and after that you are told to leave your information and someone will call you back. Very poor patients services. There are other labs to go to that will do a far better job in taking care of blood work for you, your family members and others. Once again it is up to the patients to do their homework and speak up for yourself.

This LabCorp is awesome. No wait and friendly staff. Totally worth the drive from Rockville!

Got there early morning. Two individuals working front desk. They closed front desk to go into labs and draw blood. It is evident, by looking at my arm today, that they were not correctly trained. If at all.

I'm not sure why there are all these bad reviews. There must be a lot of Karens going here. I didn't even have an appointment and I was seen in less than 15 minutes. The staff was super friendly and the tech found my vein instantly. I highly recommend this place. Great job!

I’m 44 years old and this was the most painful blood test I have ever received. The lady taking my blood was also very cold and acted like she wanted me out of the chair before she even put the band aid on my arm. I now have a big ugly bruise which is very unusual for me. I would be very nervous to come to this location again.
