Staff inside the post office have always been nice. My biggest issue with the mail carriers. For YEARS they have been delivering someone else’s mail to our house (which is down the street) and recently delivered MY package to theirs. Luckily the person who got my package dropped off and left a note. A necklace I got as a gift, put it into someone else’s mailbox SMH.

I sent a priority envelope to my grandson for his 10 birthday in Olney MD, but he never received it. I tracked it through their 800 # and eventually found out it was delivered. After some general call backs from agents Kelly from the Olney MD office retrieved the package. Thank you Kelly so much!

I had a very fun and welcoming time visiting the post office. Jay (clerk) was very helpful and provided a very positive and fun environment and their supervisor Kelly Guthrie was very funny and very helpful. They did a very great customer service and I thank them a lot.

Mail box at condos left open. All mail is exposed and can be stolen. Slow down and make sure you lock the box back before you walk away. To report It is impossible to reach the post master because of all the phone prompts. Your phone system is not customer friendly nor user friendly, your options do not fit needs.

Nice and very helpful staff, but usually has lines and you have to be patient. Sometimes it seems short-handed unless I went when someone was on break.

Quite a lot of people wonder why they haven't fired Ms Jay yet. Read through all the reviews here about this Branch. She's the one they're warning customers against. Consider yourself warned. Avoid the attitude behind the right-most counter station if you can.The rest of the staff are alright. I've heard that some of the longer term workers died or retired last year. Hoa, the lady at the left side counter, is very nice and probably the best one they have left in the place. I wish the rest were as good as her.It can get pretty crowded inside during the busy times of day, on weekends, and during the tax and Holiday seasons. Long lines aren't unusual.Be sure to get there at least 10 minutes before the closing time. Not only do they lock the doors early they start closing up shop early and absolutely will not go out of their way to help you.Don't ever expect a quick visit here, especially not if you have other errands to run.If you work normal hours like most people don't even bother coming here. Just go to the UPS Store around the corner that has much better hours.

I paid to get two items shipped !! the items were never scanned and each item was worth $300, they stole them and the master from the postal service couldn't help me. The manager acted like I was bothering her!! I will never use the postal services!! I am taking my items to the UPS Store. They hired too many criminals and they help each other !!! Please if you are running your business with shipping items, be careful they will not help you if they lost items or packages!! they are just not worth your money!!!

Multiple times the women who work there are rude and because they're miserable they have to bring others down with them. I happened to have a "TO FROM" shipping label that was priority, so I cut off the priority and she rudely told me that I could not use it for ground even if I altered it and instructed me to buy a plain sticker(even though the sticker on it was made plain). After getting back in line I asked why I couldn't just write on the box and again with an attitude of entitlement she said "you can, but you didn't". ANY DECENT HUMAN BEING WOULD HAVE NICELY TOLD ME TO TAKE THE LABEL OFF AND HAND ME A PEN TO WRITE ON THE BOX! SHE KNEW WHAT SHE WAS DOING AND CHOSE TO BE A NASTY PERSON!!! Next time I go in I'll make note of her name as well. Don't take your personal hate for your own life/job or whatever out on other people trying to have a nice day! Not the first time I was treated poorly here and maybe it was the same sad woman, I almost feel sorry for you you must be really unhappy. Also I'm tired of workers, including her, mishandling packages!

The UPS delivery truck that was bringing my order put it at the wrong house. It was a very expensive piece of tech, and I was running up and down the street trying to find it. A man from the USPS truck saw me, asked if I was looking for a package, and gave me my missing item. He said he saw the ups truck put it at the wrong house and was bringing it up to me. I cannot begin to express how grateful I am for this unbelievable level of customer service to someone who wasnt even a customer this time. I was so dizzy with relief I forgot to ask the man's name, but I do hope he sees this review, because I am so grateful to him and frankly he deserves a raise.

Best USPS ever. Been going 12 years. Also best postman, Alex..the BEST! People who work at the counter here are so friendly and swift! Plenty of parking. Good hours. A perfect post office.

The Olney USPS has stellar customer service and exudes professionalism. If I ever have problems with the package - which is extremely extremely rare, I call the post office supervisor (Preston) and they get to the bottom of it within 24 hours. Great job !!

Omg theres no way to talk to customer service. I called the number 8 times to check for option to speak to someone. Not there. My package is coming monday. Today us friday. They re holding it for 4 days to deliver it 8 miles away. Im trying to call and see if i can come pick up in person bur i can not get a agent on the phone. Every option they have on phone except to speak to agent. It’s ridiculous. Worse location ever. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS LOCATION. THEY ARE HORRIBLE.

Just woke up to a cruel reality that an employee of USPS Olney MD stole my son's phone that we were returning to Tmobile for a replacement phone. Shame on you USPS, I'm going to make you pay!!!! Avoid this place at all costs!

I have been going to the Olney post office for years and have always found them helpful and friendly. Preston was particularly supportive recently helping me organize a mail hold when I couldn’t get back to town when I originally planned. I also think a lot of Miss Jay who is the most knowledgeable about everything. Thank you Olney Post Office for all you do!
