It took me sometime to write this review because I was so upset . Erika the owner did my hair last Friday however ; the result was not what I desired . I let her know on that 2 days later I had to “ fix” my own hair .
Her response was not professional nor empathetic that I paid $235 for a perm , 4 tracks and a molding of waves. I requested FINGER-WAVES . Now the style was cute but the technique did not work . I even questioned before about the technique ? Would it hold ? How long does it last ? Did I have to do anything ? I have had finger waves plenty times and I am accustomed to it being hard and the use of some form of gel . I understood by the end of this process this way of hers was softer but ensured it would last , it did not .
When I reached out providing pictures of what I had to do because my hair was soft and not holding I was met with a very dismissive attitude and I expected more . I was met with an attitude as if I did something wrong . I asked for a price list to even justify the price and I got what she uses and booking is appt. no waiting. Which I interpret as you have no list that I can refer to. As a first time customer to her I would never return to her as she does not believe in satisfying her customers . I had to end the conversation because I pride myself on my appearance and only want to deal with business minded people who appreciate their customers , their time & their money. I felt disrespected and dismissed and I respectfully communicated I was looking to rectify this and how we could correct the matter. We could not so I chose to do it the way consumers can because I would never let her touch my hair again with that ignorant mindset .
I want to add Shakeerah did my hair a few weeks prior and she was great ! I was happy and please with what she did .
I think the salon is beautiful and the other women who work there are great ! As a business woman I just think the owner should rethink how she treats her clients and a better way to resolve matters that work for both her and her client if dissatisfied
I did not nor still appreciate it however ; I rocked what I did to my hair then simply went back to my own hairstylist today who knows how to do a simple old school finger wave.

My first appointment at Lavish was today. I needed my hair done for an event this weekend. I found the salon on Google. I had pasted by it for years, but never ventured inside. I called for an appointment and spoke with Erica, the owner. She was wonderful and I got an appointment right away. I was greeted with a friendly hello and warm smile. The salon is beautiful! Erica inspected my hair and told me the condition of my hair and she recommended What I needed. I am very pleased with my
Hair style and haircut. I’ll return to continue the special treatment that was suggested to help my hair continue to thicken and grow. Very happy with my results.

I found Lavish Hair Studio by accident bc I was just looking for someone to wash/dry & style my hair really quick for that day. I started calling a bunch of salons in the area to see if anyone had time to do what I needed for my hair. No one had availability but then I called the Lavish Hair Studio salon and Erika answered and thankfully she was able to squeeze me in her schedule! Erika was super nice, sweet & a true professional. I told her I felt like my hair was falling out, my scalp felt dry & my hair, in general, was not as healthy as it used to be. She explained in detail that I needed a hair treatment (like Oleplex) to help get my hair healthy again and maybe a trim would help too. She washed, dried and styled my hair in waves that day like I asked and I was super pleased with my results. I told her I’d come back for the treatment & trim. Well I came back for the treatment a couple weeks later and omgosh! What a difference it made! My hair is now glowing, super soft and feels so much healthier!! I also loved that I did NOT have to wait long to be seen, as she’s very good at time keeping in between her customers. You can tell she’s a very educated hair stylist, and her thoroughness and attentiveness to your hair needs, really shows her years of experience. I also like that Erika has experience with different hair types and I just found out today that she cuts men’s hair and does make-up too!! You can rest assure that she’s quick and gets you in and out fast so you can enjoy the rest of your day! Not only that but I also feel like her prices are super reasonable compared to other salons. I personally highly recommend this salon and Erika is definitely one of the best hair stylists I’ve had the pleasure to meet! :)

I love this salon! The owner, Erika is an outstanding hair stylist. She’s very knowledgeable and experienced in hair care, hair coloring, and hair styling. She promotes hair healthiness which is very important to me. Erika has a dynamic personality. The stylist there are all nice. The salon is beautiful and stays immaculate.

This is only my second visit to the salon, and I'm already impressed. My hair had been neglected since Covid, but I'm already seeing positive results. I told Erika what I wanted and she heard me. She's professional, knowledgeable, friendly, smart, and FAST! Love it! I highly recommend at least a face to face consultation and you'll probably be sold!

I have been going to Erika for over 5 years. She is amazing. My hair is healthy because of her. She is very knowledgeable and experienced in hair care. She is the best hairstylist that I have ever been. I will only go to her for my hair. If you are looking for a hairstylist that has fast service and experienced, you need to come here.

Lavish hair studio is the only salon I go to in this area. Erika is very thorough, detailed, and attentive to your hair needs. Once you sit in her chair you will know that she is an educated hair stylist with years of experience. Erika is also great at cuts and trims! It’s her specialty. Also, she is fast! They get you in and out of the salon so you can go about the rest of your day. I highly recommend!

Erika provides a one of a kind experience. She had my 3C curls blow dried and styled in less than an hour. Born and raised New Yorker, I’m use to being at the salon for at least 5 hours. Her technique, professionalism and attention to detail gave me an amazing blow out, for a reasonable price, PLUS I was able to enjoy the rest of the day to myself. Will definitely be back!

If you’re looking for a mature-minded, professional & personable stylist with great cutting and styling skills, Erika is your girl. As the owner of the establishment, Erika’s main priorities are client satisfaction and promoting healthy hair. She explains what she’s doing and advises what is best for your hair type. The salon is clean with a relaxing atmosphere, and Erika’s time management is excellent. I can’t wait to continue my healthy hair journey with Erika!

The hairstylist I see is the owner Erika. She is great. She listens and cares about your hair. I've been going to her over a year. My hair is healthy and growing strong. Natural hair and with trendy styles for professional work setting.

Had a wonderful experience here! Cearra did me and my daughters hair (blow out) last minute and did an amazing job. She was so friendly!! When I first called to see if someone was available to do my hair, I believe the owner answered and her customer service was beyond amazing!! She also text me after my appointment to see how our experience was. I will definitely be returning.
