I killed a total of 4 cockroaches in my room during the daytime. When I told the front desk, they switched my room and it wasn't clean. There were food crumbs on the floor. When every other review on here says roach infested, why isn't it being fixed? I'm so grossed out.Rooms: 1/5

Housekeeping did a great job of cleaning the rooms. The night female front desk clerk would not allow me to pay for a few more days with vacancies available, so I departed the business.Rooms: 3/5

I and my wife spent three days at this location. What me to this hotel was its located near the national hotel. But what I experienced is a hotel that is in need of updating and discovered a roach in our room. I'll never go there again.

The people who worked there were very nice and helpful. The other people staying there…not so much. Our room had stain on the sheets, the lock on the door was broken, and there was a bug in our room. The food selection wasn’t great either. Very alarmingly (and the biggest reason as to why we switched hotels), a creepy man stared at us and kept asking us probative personal questions while we ate breakfast. There is a security guard, but he just watched the situation, even after us bringing our concerns to his attention. If you are looking for hotel with mediocre food and cleaning, with some questionable guests, and an unsafe environment than this is the hotel for you. 10/10 would not recommend

This was the nasty hotel I have stayed at. Roaches running ants running. The fishy smell from housekeeping leaving nasty trash can by ice machine. Ice bucket top had mold in top. Couldn’t get in back door because group of people posted up by door in chairs that hotel had at dumpster. People fighting and arguing while you trying to sleep. This hotel must having people living in them the smell was horrible the elevators was horrible. Breakfast area was nasty should be clean after people use little boy that I believe live there got 8 muffins out with his bare hand. Man walked in from street told front desk lady mom I need a room she handed him a key. Couldn’t get our room until almost 430 then that wasn’t the cleanest. Ice machine had mold in it.

My experience at this hotel was a complete disaster…DO NOT STAY HERE…..I paid approximately $200 for an overnight stay…..AS A RESULT, I did not expect to be welcomed by ROACHES….Upon arriving, we waited approximately 25 minutes for the front desk representative to acknowledge us & check us in…..While waiting, I called the main hotel line and it continued to ring non-stop…There was no service bell, therefore, after patiently waiting I had no other choice but to yell “HELLO” numerous times ( Which was completly out of my character)….The lobby had not been swept and the carpets throughout the hallway were filthy!!! When I reached my room, AS SOON AS I TURNED ON THE LIGHT TWO LARGE ROACHES CRAWLED AROSSS THE FLOOR…. Immediately Disgusted!!! I did not even fully enter the room to speak on the rest of the condition of the room!! I returned to the front desk to explain & asked for a refund!! It seemed as if my complaint was something they were already aware of… I was informed that they was spraying on that floor last week & offered another room (As if roaches don’t travel)…I kindly REFUSED & requesred a redund, which was denied & I was told to call “CHOICE” the company booked through!! NOT ONLY DID I CALL, but after an hour on the phone with them!m, I was told to callComfort Inn back as they were the only ones who were allowed to refund me!!!! I had already traveled long hours, this was completly inconvenient having to find another hotel late at night in an unknown area!! Thankfully, a representative by the name of Maria spoke with her manager who was Pleasant to return my funds…. I will not stay here or recommend spending money here!! ACROSS THE STREET IS “HARBORSIDE HOTEL” very clean and pleasant experience!! Staff and rooms are a 10….This was the worse experience I ever had!!

We enjoyed our short stay over the weekend with our little baby and 5 year old. Janet was wonderful to start off with. The pool was open with life guard on duty unlike many other hotels that were closed due to Covid. The hotel seemed like they did a renovation which we were pleased to see. They also had a take away breakfast that was good. Overall we were happy with our stay. It ended with a bye to Janet who checked us in and checked us out as well. We liked the location too.

Do not stay here. I got bedbugs bites. I reported to the hotel and spoke to the manager. In which he was nonchalant about the situation. Tried to point blame elsewhere like my flight..I shook me clothes and a dead bed bug fell out. that was my confirmation. However the manager told me to got to Urgent Care. Well I went to my doctor whom confirmed I have bedbugs bites... I am waiting on a call from them. DO NOT STAY HERE. staff friendly but Manager is unconcerned.

I came here because I was having reno done on my bathroom (I live around the corner). Walking through the door the nice lady at the front desk was really nice and friendly I was greatly warmly. I asked for a early checkin due to I work nights and get off at 6 am. When we got to our room she called to make sure the room was ok. Well if I ever do a staycation just to get away and relax or have additional work done in my home will definitely come here again.

Decent, no frills motel near MGM casino and the National Harbor. It's a much cheaper alternative to staying at the casino and it's only 1 mile away (3-5 min drive). The room was cleanish, looked like some sheets needed better washing or replacement but we were just there to shower and sleep so it served its purpose. Super close to the highway and multiple stores/restaurants.

Shower was a disaster. Mold all round and blowing out of air conditioner. Notice the insincere responses given to this review and others by the owner. The only way to help this hotel is for anyone who stays here to contact the home office of Comfort Inn. Tell the home office how bad this hotel is and that Comfort Inn's sales rep is doing a bad job by not getting this hotel in line with other Comfort Inn hotels. It's clear that the owners of this hotel as well as the regional manager of Comfort Inn hotels are letting the Comfort Inn's name be blemished and it is unfortunate. The best thing you can do for other customers and this hotel is to contact Comfort Inn's home office. That's what I am going to do.

my overall experience in this hotel was very good, but what caught my attention most was the service & politeness of their staff... you get very good warm welcome for your breakfast ... i guess we start our day well !!!! keep rocking guys.

I chose this hotel for the price over closer locations to the Gaylord Conference Center. The neighborhood is much more urban than "bougie" -- which was absolutely not a deterrent, as there were two grocery stores within walking distance, and shopping nearby (depending on your taste). The property was clean and neat, and the staff was superb (Cecelia, who runs the afternoon/nigh desk is an absolute TREASURE!) -- if it's your thing, ask for a room with a big tub ... 'tis divine! There is also a scheduled shuttle to run you to/from the outlet mall (I didn't), and the convention center; just be sure to check your times (it's not "at will") -- Uber shouldn't be more than 5-10 min. and $10-15, depending on the time of day. I will say that, despite the recent reno, the property still holds some of it's "smoking" background, but only in the hallways. It was quiet, it was pleasant, the breakfast (including the "make your own waffles") was wonderful, and to be quite honest, you really couldn't ask for more (i.e. the rates closer the conference center are outRAGEOUS)!!! Overall, a great experience ... highly recommend ... would stay there, again, in a heartbeat!

Will definitely consider this place my next trip to DC (although it's pretty far from DC) this place was super close to the Gaylord convention center and even offered free shuttles to and from. Was a quick $7-$10 Uber to get back to the hotel for any quick changes. Front Desk: polite and efficient- usually only one or two so patience is required at times- even updated my receipt at check out with my company's name for concur expense report. Breakfast: more than your standard cereal and muffin. They had eggs, sausage, make your own waffle machine, and a variety of other stuff. Room: Super clean room, I always check the beds and everything looked perfect. Not sure if I was just tired from the convention, but I found the beds super comfy and they had 4 soft pillows on each bed. No issues with lamps, TVs, showers, blow dryers. Upon arrival, the painting/construction outside of the hotel was a bit scary looking to be honest. However, in the end everything was fine.

Good affordable place to stay while traveling in DC. Free breakfast and shuttle to surrounding convention centers.
