Mary has been my accountant for years. She helps you keep things straight and stay and track. She is extremely helpful, offering useful advice and patiently answering questions. From a business perspective, I'd be lost without her.

The laundry list of reasons for this rating is a mile long. If I could give 0 stars, I would. After agreeing to do my taxes, we exchanged emails wherein I sent her additional paperwork. She replied to my email and we sent several emails back and forth. Two weeks later, I still hadn't heard from her so I called to check in. She said that she never received the papers (though she acknowledged receiving them in her emails) and said that my paperwork was on hold waiting for the papers. Why wouldn't you call a client if you have had the paperwork for that long and think you're missing something? I almost missed the deadline to file because she's flighty. I picked up the papers she had and took my business elsewhere.
