“Not really into bowling, but I went with the fellas, out of boredom. Because of the hour we went, the place was calming dow, but was still pretty much lit. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable in bowling. The even pointed out what I was doing wrong and helped me ou with my form. After an hour I thought I was unbeatable. There was a bar inside, which is way to pricey in my opinion, but to each is own. I will certainly return and I recommend anyone to stop by.”

Sarah and her team made the experience incredible.I've been to a few axe throwing places and Chill Axes is the best by far. Their organization, attention to detail, and genuine care for the couple (and vendors!) made everything run like clockwork. It’s rare to find such a hardworking team that truly goes above and beyond – but that’s exactly what they did!
The staff at the Yacht Club was equally amazing, making sure every part of the day was handled with ease and professionalism. As a photographer, working with such an organized team makes all the difference in capturing those picture-perfect moments.

“Lived here for six years. Great community. Lots of walking paths, tot lots, great pool, and gym. The landscaping is excellent too. If you don't like living in an HOA, go elsewhere. If you don't like being told how to maintain the appearance of your property, don't buy in an HOA controlled community. AA County has plenty of other locations where you can let your grass grow tall, park a boat on your lawn, or keep trash out front. Not in this community.”
“Just like any American Legion, you can only get in if you are a member or are a guest of one. Accepts cash only, no credit card but does have an ATM on the premises. I think most have limited food menus. Full bar with beers on tap and bottled beer. Very nice and friendly atmosphere. Occasionally, has live music on the weekends. Alcohol is very reasonably priced.”

“We used this space for an educational seminar.The staff was kind and helpful when we met to sign the paperwork. They met me at the space and walked me around. Great location with many catering options nearby. Mid seminar my husband even got a smoothie from smoothie king. The whole class had Panera from 1 min up the road. They helped with tables and chairs and even banner poles.Convenient, clean, and comfortable place that allows for social distancing. Very happy with my experience.”

“We had a good time overall here, for the price. The kitchenette met our needs. The staff (in particular America) were superb. We loved the locations ease of access to the 75 bus, which can transport you quickly to the Thurgood-Marshall into DC. All around nice stay, very quiet, clean. Only downside was when I slipped and fell on the ice and scraped my arm pretty bad, I had asked for a bandaid and they said they didn't have any to give. Just seems a bit weird they didn't have any first aid just in case. I understand they were under construction, though, so I'm not docking a star. A couple nitpicks: no coffee filter to make our own coffee, no sponge to wash dishes, and no bandaid when I ended up bleeding from a fall.”
“We used Bleue's On The Water May 7th for my daughter's wedding. It turned out to be the absolute perfect location for our event. The food was delicious and plentiful. The cake was tasty. The atmosphere was joyous, festive, and a great time was had by all. I had hired a florist to add a few more bells and whistles but she didn't work out, but as it turned out, the venue was beautiful even without. We are even considering using them again later this year for a second event because the first one was so spectacular!!!”

“We had our wedding in the ballroom. Very scenic and beautiful venue! Overall a pretty good venue that includes food, tables, chairs, linens, etc. The ballroom house itself is beautiful with lots of light indoors due to the large windows, and a nice deck for an outside ceremony. Zoe communicated with us and answered all our questions and did our tasting and planning, until a week before the actual day where we were assigned a day of venue coordinator.
I found this system to be not great, since the venue coordinator was essentially a stranger that you've never talked to at all, and you basically have to re explain everything you want. Even though they have an online planning tool (which is old and outdated), I found that they got our aisle directions wrong, the reception layout wrong, and our dinner meals were wrong. Thankfully, we had a separate planner that was able to correct these things, so I HIGHLY recommend getting an outside coordinator that works directly with you if you have room in the budget.
Another thing was our limited setup time of 1.5 hours meaning the florist and other vendors couldn't set up earlier with more elaborate decorations and had to do something simple. I found out that this is because they had another wedding at the same place before ours (literally ending at 4) and so they rush to get the place cleaned for the evening wedding. The main room and the suit was renovated, but the bathrooms were all still dingy and not the best/cleanest to use.
The food was good though, better than we had at our tasting and they got it out fast. Our vendors were fed the same food, and our guests thought it was pretty good wedding food.
Apart from the couple hiccups we had, we thought the venue was great overall and really beautiful and we don't regret having our wedding there at all. It could be a little bit better in the small details for the price though.”
