i want to be clear that this review is for marlos customer service "after" the delivery not the purchase process. 2 of my 8 dining room chairs were delivered partially damaged. it took 2 months after the delivery to get "one" chair replaced. i have continued to follow up with their service department for the 2nd chair, but they have gone "silent" on me. seems like they have decided internally, they are not going to replace the 2nd chair, but no one has bothered to contact. to say that we are very unhappy with marlos service dep't would be an understatement!

William was so helpful! He helped us purchase a sectional and listened to all of our needs. He was not pushy at all and really made sure we were getting what we wanted.

Marlo Furniture . . . What can one say about Marlo Furniture. Oh Wait!! I know what to say: We ordered furniture on August 13th with a delivery date of 8 - 12 weeks, which we found to be a long time but hey, it is what it is, right?!? Well, we called today and the furniture will not be delivered until January or February. Thanksgiving and Christmas will have come and gone with no furniture. But this is what we found out about Marlo Furniture: 1) They have no managers in the stores. Period!! Managers only work Monday through Friday apparently (if at all). 2) If they put in a request to their "Escalation Department" it will take until Wednesday (today is Saturday) for us to get a call back. 3) They will have had the money for 6-months - That's right A FULL 6-MONTHS without having delivered the furniture 4) They have NO CONTROL and/or what appears to be COMMUNICATION with their manufacturers overseas. 5) It appears that their org-chart is flat. No one in a position of management until they decide to make contact with the "customer" if they do at all. We'll wait and see . . . 6) We were hung up on THREE times. 7) They don't care.

I have be a customer for years. I love Marlo furniture. I never had bad experience like this. I'm hoping the the customer service will fix that. Stay turned for updates on Monday. #dinnerroomset

It doesn't deserve 1star!This is my first terrible shopping experience. When I bought the dinner table here, the salesperson always advertised a 1year warranty. But when I bought it back, it came with the wrong screws. I called the store to request the right screws, they asked me to call customers service.After many conversation during 2-3 weeks. My issue still didn't get any response and fix.My request is simple, I just need the 6 right screws to put the table parts together.Why it's so hard. Later I was be told: 1,They only can help me to submit the ticket , nothing they can do , because of you picked it up from the store. 2,You don't have 1 year warranty because of you picked it from the store. 3,I can't return it even it doesn't work, because of I picked it up from the store. I am so mad,nobody told me. I came to the store and tried to get reasonable answer. The manager told me : 1, If salesperson didn't say if you pick it up from the store you lose warranty and service. you should ask him, even you don't know the warranty and service are different . 2, You should readd the rules before you paid it. See the rules in the attachment. I even didn't see there is rule in the back of the receipt that time. 3, You might install wrong, put the wrong screws. (I installed the Ikea big closet by myself before). 4. You should inspect when you picked it up. I don't know how does it work. it's whole box,I have to open it over there and do the inspection, then put together, tie it up again. You should check every screws carefully. then you can find the screws is wrong. All the customers responsibility. Choose the store carefully. If you must to shop in this store, don't listen to the salesperson says, be sure to read the terms clearly before you buy it.

We found shopping at Marlo to be the nicest experience out of all of the furniture stores in the area. We were greeted by Hassan who explained the promotions and layout of the store and then he left us to look around on our own. He occasionally checked back with us to see if we had any questions or needed any help but we appreciated that he didn’t hover nonstop as other salespeople in other stores. We ended up picking out our sectional from here and we were very pleased with the help and service that Hassan gave us.

We came to Marlo in Rockville, MD to find a bed and recliner and Ati greeted us as we arrived @ the door.She showed us around and we actually found the bed we loved the bed with 6 drawers and we up ended purchased 2 beds (Queen and King sizes) she gave us great discounts and great services.We glad for her help and service.

Hello, From start to finish my experience in Marlo was amazing. Anita at the customer service desk was outstanding, she helped through the process of financing and helping me decide with would best work for me. I went in not confident at all that I would even get approved and was surprised. Anita is AMAZING.

Marlo has nice collections and excellent quality. The sales associates are also very helpful and always there if anyone has any questions. I worked with WILLIAM this time. He is very friendly and responsive. He helped me throughout the process. I’d recommend him. It was a great experience.Thanks.

Mama Natalia took great care of us. She was very knowledgeable and took the time to compare prices on a couple of different pieces we liked. All the while her infectious energy kept us laughing. The best furniture shopping experience I’ve ever had.

We had a great experience at Marlo! They had a huge sale while we were there, and their furniture is of good quality. Amar was incredibly helpful, patient and informative during our process of searching for new furniture. Overall communication with her and the store, including the during delivery process, was easy and thorough. Would definitely shop there again!

Purchased furniture here using the memorial day sale (60%). I was told 6-8 weeks my item would arrive. I called on the date they said it would arrive and they told me it would be 8-12 weeks actually. Then 15 weeks passed and my item was still not delivered. Customer service quoted me a new date that was an additional 4 weeks out. When i previously asked about an update they told me they would not be giving me any furniture discount or compensation (i did not ask for $$, i just wanted an accurate delivery date). But no one could tell me where my item was. Their return policy is sketchy. Based on others experiences think this company is just scamming. I'll be reporting them to the BBB. *Edit: I was told only a manager could give me a refund. i've been to the store and called several times. Conveniently, the manager is never in or has "just stepped out" and doesn't return for the day.

the rating of the furniture themselves is excellent; however, most of their furnitures are not in stuck! it takes them 8-12 weeks to deliver and if canceled prior to the timeline they charge 10%. it is not like we changed our minds! we loved the sectional that we had ordered, we just got tired of waiting and canceled it!!

William John was very helpful. We were able to find a good quality dresser and he helped us get a good price. However, he was very pushy. We were jipped out of free delivery that was included in the sale.
