Just had great service from everyone at South Carol Vet Hospital. Everyone is so nice and they treated my German Shepherd like he was king. They cut his 1 inch toenails and gave him a great shot in his hips. I Can’t wait for the next visit. They are wonderful here! They are very reasonable

We saw Dr. Carroll and Dr. Stephens at their previous practice, so when our cat got sick, we made an appointment with South Carroll Veterinary Hospital. Audra at the front desk got us in the same day. Unfortunately, our sweet Max didn’t make it, but Dr. Carroll and Dr. Stephens worked diligently for three straight days doing everything they could to help him. The entire staff was so compassionate throughout this process and we received a beautiful condolences card, along with prints of his paws and nose, in the mail. We opted for cremation and received his remains back in about a week. The company they used for cremation services also went above and beyond. We received not only Max’s remains in a beautiful wooden urn, but also a clay paw print impression and a locket of fur keepsake. Although this was not the outcome we had hoped for, we are blown away (as usual) with the level of care we received. These are people that truly love animals and will treat your pets like family.

I couldn't express my gratitude and love for Dr. Stephens, Dr. Carroll, and Audra (I legitimately hope I spelled all of your names correctly). We are in the process of leaving another vet they were working for at a long time and bringing our pets because they are an amazing team.
They care deeply, and are empathetic. They are easy to work with. We recently lost a young cat, and they did everything they could for him. I truly appreciate the care, the love, and the respect they have for our fur babies.
You have my wife and I as clients for life. Thank you very much for being the way you all are.

The brand new owners of South Carroll Vets are amazing! They are knowledgeable and extremely helpful. The whole office staff was fantastic from start to finish. We are happy to have a found a new vet office for all of our animals! Dr. Stephens and Dr. Carroll are the best!

Rosie, our cockalier, along with her brother, Opie went here for several years. Opie had bad hips starting at about age 6. He could barely get around our house- especially the day after going on a walk. Then, this vet gave us a magic cure, rimadyl - and things were great, but there was a catch - $800/yr in blood tests. We decrided to try another vet... YAY all the rimadyl Opie wants, no blood test required. Opie is super happy and healthy to this day (seven years later). Rosie had a heart murmur from birth. We knew this wasn't optimal... but we loved the pup. Several years later, abs very recently, she developed a dry chest cough. Karen told my wife it was probably her heart and she could give her medicine, but it would include $1400 of blood tests first. And then she told her "but if it gets worse... maybe I can just prescribe it anyway". Who's got $1400 laying around nowadays? So, Rosie died a week later. I'm sure Karen did everything by-the-book, but like our other vet said.... she knew what was needed... just..... So, Rosie would have passed in the near future regardless.... but it would have been nice to have an extra week, even had we had the $1400. I had previously left a very terse review to which they truthfully replied they had no idea who I was.... but they do/did know Rosie & Opie.Not going to turn this into an advert for other vets, but two in Westminster, and one in Mt. Airy aren't charging a fraction as much for bloodwork. But, very happily, we have two very cute brand new cavalier pups in the house!

I highly recommend Dr. Karen. Her love of animals and kind heart is evident from the moment you meet her. Her staff is welcoming and knowledgeable. All phone calls and concerns have been addressed promptly. Don’t hesitate to let her care for your pets.

The care team at South Carroll Vet is AWESOME! My dog injured her knee and they’ve taken such great care of her. They call to check up on your pets after their visit, always on time with appointments, and so caring and compassionate. I couldn’t say enough positive things about this vet

I was introduced to Dr. Karen when my new puppy had a seizure. I had the pup in my home less than 12 hours. I had no history or reference for this practice and they didn't know me from Adam. But they scheduled an appointment to see me at closing time since they were booked full that day. They saw my pup, did a full examination and Dr. Karen spent over an hour with my pup making sure he had no lasting effects from the seizure. My previous vet of 40+ years is retiring. Dr. Karen is my new vet for life ! All four vet techs that were there that day were absolutely amazing with my pup, super helpful and informative.

Dr. Karen and her team are awesome and patient with Gracie, even though she's always very anxious about being there. They do what they can to put her at ease, because they care. Dr. Karen even worries about how much pain a shot might cause an animal. Reviews that rely on cruel social discrimination against a person based solely on their name should not be trusted or taken seriously. I guess I need to pray that nobody named Rebecca does anything that society decides is unacceptable enough that all people named Rebecca should be lumped together into one category of terrible people. If you are looking for an excellent vet who is caring and compassionate, I highly recommend this particular Karen.

We have been taking our pets here for all my life. The veterinarians are super friendly and kind and have always taken very good care of our animals. Everyone is family to them and they are amazing. I highly recommend.
