Village Market is a locally owned grocery store that provides a convenient and affordable shopping experience. It is cheaper than many other local supermarkets, often beating their prices. The store has a decent selection of goods, carrying pretty much everything one could need, including organic options, products with less packaging, and local products like Phillips chocolate. The aisles are labelled nicely, making it easy to find items within minutes. The staff are very fast, with always an open lane ensuring no waiting. Some customers find the staff friendly and much better than at larger chain stores, with one pleasant cashier noted. However, other reviews mention that the staff can seem unfriendly, with cashiers who won't offer a smile or small talk, making some feel they should get in and out as soon as possible. The store is smaller than bigger supermarkets, with a great pantry and sweets section. Some areas, like the deli and cheese selection, could be improved, and the store's layout sometimes causes confusion. A persistent issue noted is a beeping fire alarm at the entrance. Despite minor drawbacks, customers are grateful for this convenient, affordable, and locally owned market, with many making it their regular grocery stop.
You'll probably find what you need. after reading these reviews I'm just relieved I'm not the only customer the cashiers seem to snub. I always feel like I just walked in on the mean girls in the school bathroom. There is one young girl with colorfully dyed hair who is always very pleasant:)

I hadn't been in here because I assumed it was a cheapo store without quality products. I was very wrong. And the employees are about 100x better than what Stop & Shop is offering right now. I am making an effort to come here more often. :)
