We were very impressed with the quality of our interior painting project. Oleg's crew also dissembled a brown wooden bannister to change it to white. It came out even better than we expected. The work was done on-time and on-budget, and our house was left very clean. We will use Superior Painting again for our next job!Services: Door painting

These gentlemen are clearly results-driven. I spoke with their director at the end of one day and they were at work on the next with their director on the ladder. They did exactly what we needed done in a minimum of time for a reasonable cost. Too many contractors do less than expected for more than was estimated, but these men exceed your expectations every time!

For people reading these reviews that don't want to read all the details of my story, here's what you care about: Superior Painting is reliable, reasonable, talented, responsive, professional, flexible, takes pride in their work, and are a pleasure to work with. You are lucky you have this team as an option for your project.The Details: We bought a gingerbread cottage in the MVCMA in Oak Bluffs that's over 150 years old, structurally in great shape, but in need of exterior painting, roof cleaning, siding shingle cleaning/bleaching, and some window glass replacement/reglazing. The cottage had been repainted many times and there were layers and layers of old paint, given the age some of it likely lead paint. Unsurprisingly with a structure this old there was also some rotting wood around some windows. To make the project a bit more interesting, the cottage walls are a single board thick and some shingles very old making power washing a bit more of a challenge. Also, the cottage is within the MVCMA which has some specific rules about what work can be done and when. None of the challenges were a problem for Superior painting though, they handled it all great.The work Oleg and team did was amazing, their attention to detail during prep and painting really shows the pride they take in their work, and they were very considerate of the neighbors and of the MVCMA's rules while doing their work. Throughout the job Oleg would reach out to me when he found anything he thought I should be aware of such as rotting wood, or a broken screen door, and we would decide how to handle it. He kept it stress free for me and regularly updated me with photos of the work. This is the team you want if you care about how your project turns out.Services: Water damage repair

Oleg and his team did a wonderful job painting our house trim at a very reasonable schedule and price. My home is 3 years old and the screen porch ceiling was very dark with mildew.. Oleg answered my call and responded that he would meet me to take a look. He showed up same day on time exactly ! Oleg fit me into his schedule and each time I text he was responsive.. MV Superior Painting Company is absolutely top notch , their work is flawless, professional team ! Clean neatthe best hands down! My house looks better now than first built !

Need a painter? Save yourself the agony of MV’s "Tradesman Hell” by calling Oleg at Superior Painting. We’d had two other contractors look at our interior painting job in West Tisbury, which included a living-dining area with high vaulted ceilings. They both ghosted us, never even submitting a bid.We called Oleg based on some good online reviews. He came out that day and sent us a reasonable, detailed quote the same night, then had his insurance company forward proof of his insurance coverage the next day. (Pay attention, Vineyard tradesman, this is how a professional works).On the agreed upon start day, he and his cheerful crew showed up on time, worked steadily, and had the job done in three days. The work was done with care and great attention to detail, with remarkably little disruption; the job site was left neat and clean after each day’s labors. They went out of their way to patch over imperfections and nail pops, smoothing out the walls beautifully. The workmanship of the painting itself was exceptional – our house looks 20 years younger. And the job was completed on time and on budget. We would hire Superior Painting again in a heartbeat – they definitely live up to their name.Service: Paint indoors

Renovating a 1950’s pond/beach house is not for lightweights. Oleg and his team were hired to repaint interiors, and exterior doors and trim. As the project developed, unexpected issues arose that added onto the original work plan.Without going into great detail, suffice it to say that the attention given to our project far exceeded our expectations. Oleg is extremely knowledgeable about paint quality and was able to get exactly the colors and finishes that we wanted. The attention to prepping the walls, floors, whatever was being stained or painted astonished me- as did the result; Couldn’t be happier with the quality of the work! It is also worth noting that Oleg and his colleague Julio have lovely dispositions, so it was easy to converse about the job, get questions answered and troubleshoot problems when they came up. Couldn’t feel any better about the work done in our home and know that we will be seeing MV Superior Painting again.

As an active client of Oleg’s, I am more than happy to write a reference for his work. In 2016, I contracted with Oleg for a major exterior refurbishment of my house in Chilmark. My house was built in 1952 and the time had come for new trim in many areas and for the reconditioning of the remaining trim - all exterior corner boards, windows, doors, and casing trim, wooden gutters, and dormers. Throughout the project, decisions were required as to whether elements should be replaced or repaired.
Oleg did an outstanding job and I can say without hesitation that I would rehire him. In fact, I have him back every year for maintenance tasks (house gets battered as it is close to the ocean on the south side of the Island). Let me point to the aspects of Oleg that work for me:
First, Oleg is well educated and smart. But, as important, he’s also curious about what works and doesn’t work with respect to process and materials and consults with others to work on continuous improvement. When you couple this with a high standards and an interest in quality, you have a winning combination.
Second, Oleg's team are fastidious with the prep work. And, they have the tools to do the prep properly. Again, high standards.
Third, Oleg is systematic and process oriented. Step by step. I have watched the process and I can say with confidence that each area got the right treatment. This also helps with neatness. They work a specific area and then move on with their tools and drop cloths in a methodical way. Non-intrusive approach.
And, post job clean-up is also about as good as it gets. Oleg does not mess-up your environment when he painting and after he’s gone, there are no tracks left behind.
I will also say that they are hardworking. You certainly get an hour of work for an hour of pay. You don’t even have to think about it.
Overall, this is the first painter I have ever had where I can claim 100% satisfaction. When the time comes for a complete redo, Oleg will be at the top of my list. As they say, the proof is in the pudding. The house looks as good today as it did in 2016 when Oleg completed the job first time around.
Last, Oleg is directly involved in each of his projects, as a painter and as a project leader. He is there to deliver what you negotiated.

Superior Painting is just what the name suggests; superior. These folks are professional and they have the experience to take the job from start to finish efficiently. I'm very happy with the quality, price and speed at which their work takes place. The owner is an effective communicator and gives a variety of options to choose from. If you have have a painting project in your future, you would be fortunate to have this company complete the task for you.
