Just left after making my first and last purchase with a bad taste in my mouth. The only reason why my review says 1/5 stars is because I cannot select 0/5 stars.
First, I ask if the bowl packs for water pipes that i was pointing to are 14mm...a standard question. Cashier has no idea. Ok, fine, not the end of the world.
I select a water pipe to buy. Cashier then slams it into register during checkout. It appeared to not have any cracks so i say i guess its still ok to proceed with the transaction.
..I get to my car and realize the extra, specialty bowl pack (that she picked out after bringing my pipe to the counter) is a 18mm when i need 14mm. I go back in before leaving The parking lot to ask if I can replace the extra bowl pack she gave me (since the pipe is useless to me without the specialty type of bowl i asked for)
But now I can't just exchange it... She then makes me pay more money to get the appropriate sized bowlpack that was nearly identical. ...granted it was only a dollar or two more so it wasn't the end of the world and i might seem petty here. But the the complete lack of knowledge, competence, and customer service REALLY annoyed me. I asked that since she hit the pipe against the register, and most likely weakened the glass somewhere on it and since she was the one who selected the extra bowl pack that was the wrong size, if we could just forget the dollar or two more. but no. she made me go back out to my car to get my wallet so i could finacially fix her mistake.
Will not be returning which is a shame because the location is great for me. but I'd rather drive a bit further and cross the median going the opposite way i typically would in order to get to City Smoke Shop.
Also very pricey. rant over.

Total Tobacco is the best cigar shop in the area. They have a large variety of fresh cigars including an impressive collection of small cigars you can not find anywhere is in the area. Also, they have the best prices and courtious service.

Woman employee that works at the desk is incompetent. I’m a disabled American and after showing forms of identification including my cards with my disability listed, she laughed in my face and mocked me, denying me from buying and asking why I’d try to fake a disability. I’m actually dumbfounded and surprised such a disgusting place exists in Danvers so openly.

The lady did not understand that after I had given my credit card, University ID, and other forms of identification showing things like my DEBIT AND CREDIT cards to prove I was over 21 (I bet if I showed my passport she would still think it’s fake). The store cashier also doesn’t scan, because their scanner is so bad, she told me “well fake ones work too”. She judged solely on looks and blamed me for that. Horrible place.

used to come here all the time to grab a vape, recently there’s a new girl that interrogates me everytime i walk through the door. i understand i look young and kids come in all the time, however i come often, i am of age and have multiple ways to prove it, and even after showing my ID we then are followed with 20 questions. the most recent time she just straight up asked if it was fake, which i laughed and replied no. the customer service with her isn’t even decent and she looks to be the same age as me!! never had this use before she started there.

Best price on my favorite cans of cigarette tobacco for handrolling. Excellent selection from what I see of other tobacco products and accessories. State law prohibiting smoking in store requires finishing cigarette before entering. :-(.

Usually, cigarettes are cheaper at a smoke shop, but not at this one. They cost more here than at a convenient store or gas station. Doesn't make any sense.

Very informed and welcoming staff. Atmosphere was super smoky and warm. Picked up my first pipe there and it was a smooth experience.
