Beth is excellent, she really takes the time to understand customers wants and makes you feel like you can come back and fix/change anything if it doesn’t come out exactly right. Great service, I highly recommend.

Amazing service. Jayne is a natural with hair color. The staff was super friendly and the salon is so nice. They know thier stuff. So happy I chose this salon. Don't listen to the negative reviews, this place is a gem and these guys really take care of you.

So strange my experience was amazing. Wave Lengths has been in business for 28 years. As far as being racist or using profanity, that's just an outrageous accusation! To address the bride. She failed to add she was an HOUR AND HALF late for her appointments. The gentleman who was doing makeup is a true professional and wasn't going to do anything but his best.

I scheduled my bridal party to have hair and make-up done here a year in advance. Not only did they not finish everyone's make-up on time, they made me, the bride late for photographs because they prioritized my bridal party over the bride. I had to actually ask them to stop doing my future mother inlaw's make-up so I could get mine down. They even sent my maid of honor out the door with fake lashes that were not trimmed!!! They refused to refund the girls who did not receive make-up. None of my bridal party received airbrush as I requested. It was a nightmare scheduling with them because they never pick-up the phone. Do not schedule for a wedding!

Went for a pedicure. She literally left me soaking my feet in the back and started giving someone a haircut in the other room and didn't even tell me. I called before too saying, "ok I'm driving all the way to Edgartown from VH. Do you promise you can take me?" "YES" I just wasted 90 min on that. Thanks Wave Lengths!

The lovely friendly stylists at Wave Lengths got me a next day appointment for a shampoo and cut. It was great they were so accommodating. Jane, the owner, did my hair. She listened to exactly what I wanted, gave me zero-pressure product advice, and was super cheerful and fun to talk to. I left feeling great about my clean and pretty haircut, repeatedly assured I could come back anytime in the next week for a touch up if I wasn't happy. Jane made me feel great about my hair, and actually my life. What a nice pick-me-up treat. They also do mani/pedis.

stay far far away if you are a bride or wedding party. not only is the owner completely rude and rough around the edges, the talents of herself and staff for updos are that of a child. we have a summer home on the island and was there for my sister's wedding this month and can not warn people enough. owner acts nice and friendly when booking (and making you pay 100% + tip up front) then is a nightmare the day of.

As a first time visitor to the island I was apprehensive as to who could cut my hair. Thanks to Yelp I found Wave Lengths and Jayne. Great job and nice gal!
