I have to be honest that although the photos and location (across the road from the ocean) are good, when my boyfriend and I pulled up, we were quite disappointed. We paid a lot and had no idea this was just a motel, moldy smelling, with tiny beds marketed as queen sized but we’re actually full sized. The bathroom was tiny. The balcony wasn’t private - a strip where anyone could walk by and look right into the room. The place is worth no more than $100 a night. Don’t be tricked. We only stayed one night and left early. I just couldn’t sleep there another night. Will never go back.

Beautiful property with spectacular views. Clean rooms with comfortable chairs on patio to sit and enjoy the ocean views. Staff went above and beyond with every interaction. Breakfast was excellent and staff was so attentive. The resort was close to downtown restaurants and shops but we enjoyed all the inn had to offer. The pool had plenty of comfortable seating. Glad we choose this resort to stay during our family wedding at the Beauport. Thanks and we will be back.

Very enjoyable stay! Room was very clean. Nice pool. Desk clerks were extremely friendly and helpful. View of the ocean from the balcony made it all the more special - it's a beautiful spot! Restaurant serving breakfast was very nice with pleasant wait staff, good food and reasonable prices! I would definitely stay there again!

Loved our visit to this charming hotel, where it was easy to picture vacations here 50 years ago when life was simpler. We usually stay at the Beauport, which while new, suffers from a loud, party crowd of wedding revelers. This hotel was just the opposite. Calm, quiet, relaxing. We had two rooms on the to floor which was one easy flight of stairs up. The rooms could use a remodel (towels hanging over the toilet are an accident waiting to happen), but they were big, clean and comfortable with plenty of space for luggage. Breakfast was good, quick and convenient in their attached restaurant. It was a holiday weekend but they had plenty of staff. Pool was a great spot to relax and I appreciated that the other guests were all very respectful (well-behaved kids in the pool, groups with coolers). TVs should be replaced with bigger screens. Plenty of parking and location was good, it was about 10 minutes to town for dinner. Finally, staff were kind and lovely. We hope to see you again.

The place to go for a fabulous breakfast. Each choice is not the same old same old, They are unique and delicious. From omelettes to Texas Toast. Fresh fruit plates are large enough for two. The coffee is wonderful and the staff members make you feel welcomed.Service: 5/5

Top floor for one night. Picture window and balcony provide view of the ocean. I imagine with a nor'easter that must be dramatic!! Only negatives were the very small bathroom and the over-cooked potato quarters that came with breakfast. For walkers/runners, the sidewalk along Atlantic St. Breakfast (not included with stay), other than the potatos, was surprisingly good. Restaurant does not do lunch or dinner.

My wife and I went at the end of June for our 42nd anniversary. When it looked like a complete washout I called to postpone. They were very pleasant and they said since we were frequent customers we could change our reservation for full credit. We decided to go anyway and unfortunately it rained. But we had a great quiet mid floor room 116. It had a great ocean view from our patio and bed. We left the patio door open to listen to the ocean waves break on the shore. The room was great, and the shower had lots of pressure. In the morning we had the most delicious eggs benedict breakfast in their restaurant. Everyone we spoke to from the housekeeper, groundskeeper, and front desk was a nice as pie. Reminded me of old school hospiltality by people who care about their customers. The only negative I have is I wish it was a little less expensive.

Stayed here with my 6 year old daughter for a last minute getaway. It was absolutely delightful. Our queen ground level room was spacious and had an ocean view and two comfortable chairs and a table outside. The pool was lovely and my daughter loved jumping on the seaside rocks just across the street (there are a few crosswalks and traffic isn't too fast). Breakfast was delicious, efficient and relaxing with ocean views and reasonable prices and set us up for a day exploring. Bathroom was not fancy but clean and serviceable. A?C unit worked well but we didn't need it; refrigerator was a great size and worked well. Every employee we encountered was lovely and the grounds are so well cared for. We will absolutely be back.

We enjoyed a one night stay in a meticulously clean and comfortable room on the top floor. The bedding was crisp and cozy. The balcony and view was amazing. We were able to hear the sounds of the surf at night through the screen door.The staff at check-in and out were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this Inn.

Excellent location and very nice staff. Sadly the rooms are like a Motel 6. Very small the the bathrooms are tiny!!! For nearly $400/night, we would have expected something better. Obviously you're just paying for the ocean view.

Absolutely wonderful stay.! I wish we had stayed more than 1 night. Stellar front desk staff that made you feel so welcome. The room was so spacious, clean, and well appointed with the most amazing ocean view from your own balcony. And don’t forget the added bonus of delicious homemade complimentary cookies available in the office. Stay here if you are in Gloucester!

The view from the rooms are beautiful. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The Inn is close to Good Harbor beach and Gloucester shopping district. The food at the the cafe was excellent. We enjoyed our stay very much, and plan on returning.

Great location overlooking the water. But that also means you will be awakened by the sunlight streaming in at 5 am. Hotel definitely has that old "motor lodge" look and feel to it, but everything was clean and well-maintained.Rooms: 4/5
