I heard the dreaded rhythmic thud, thud, thud as I drove down Center St. in Newton. I realized the shell station was very close so pulled right in. I looked at the suspect tire and could see a fairly large piece of metal was stuck in the tire. The service team kindly and quickly assessed it and we all realized I'd need the spare. They took care of the tire change on the spot, although it was a little tougher than expected, with a wonderfully confident, reassuring, and cheery attitude. I was back on the road in a little more than half an hour. I'm so grateful! I'd bring my car here anytime. They were quick and honest, just what I needed. Thank You!!

Super kind and helpful staff; gentleman did my inspection before heading out on his lunch break, so I was able to get in and out quickly. I’m so appreciative - not many people would do that!

Truly predatory fuel prices, every other station in the area is cheaper. Most of them by 50 cents or more per gallon.

Do not go here for state inspection if you have any tint on your car. Staff is very rude and wouldn’t pass my car for having a windshield tint that was less than an inch too long.

The auto repair shop that operates at this gas station is a hidden gem. I discovered it accidentally, as my engine threw an error code and started choking, so I pulled into the first place I saw. They went above and beyond to help me out on a busy Saturday morning. Marc has diligently troubleshot the issue with a misfiring cylinder and had me take a test drive to make sure the problem does not reappear. He even agreed to recalibrate my suspension and was able to identify the root cause of another issue that I knew about and needed to address. Now, this is a rare foreign car that most small repair shop do not even have the equipment to work on. It was a small miracle that I desperately needed to have them help me out on the spot and safely put me back on the road. Chatting with Marc and his father who runs the place, I can certainly tell that these are very genuine, knowledgeable and hard working professionals. I am happy that I have finally found an independent shop that I can trust. This is going to be my “go to” shop going forward for all my car service needs. Thank you guys!

we asked the shah, the gas attendant to put in $10, he punched in $20 and walked away while on the phone and came back when it was at $19. Bad business practice. Do not come to this gas station

Shout out to my guy Shah for the EXCELLENT customer service. I had a low tire and after searching for a place that offered free air and landed on this Shell station (they do btw). On the way I realized I legitimately forgot my wallet at home but figured it'd be fine since it was free air and I'd do it myself. Turns out it's a full service station!! I told Shah up front I forgot my wallet so didn't even have a few bucks for a tip and he couldn't have been nicer about it. Still checked and aired up all four of our tires and let me know which ones to keep an eye on. Super appreciate it, Shah!!

Great neighborhood business with nice people. Go there for inspections regularly, premium gas, and occasional repairs. Have been going there for decades.

We had them perform the annual inspection but I had just received my Massachusetts license plates. I couldn’t get the front plates off because the screws seemed stripped. The gentleman I worked with said no worries. He was able to get my new plates on even though that wasn’t really part of the service. Very pleasant and professional.
