I went on the sat before Halloween. People say your crazy but, what keeps people away is what I go to see ! Thousands of people walking around, laughing , talking, eating, taking in the sites ! The atmosphere is joyous. All kinds of costumes. An alien might pass by followed by 2 ducks ! Make it a whole day and check out neighboring Gloucester and Hammond Castle.

Pickering wharf is a good shopping area near the water front. There are several restaurants and shops. Jaho coffee, The Happy Sunflower ?, Enchanted, The Witchery, and Pyramid Books are personal favorite spots at the Wharf.

Beautiful breezy Sunday to walk down the grassy promontory to the lighthouse. Small beach with shells nearby. Historic Salem ship docked there was interesting.

This is a great place to stop by and see the ocean while in Salem. It's very walkable, has lots of good restaurants and fun shops. It also has some historic sites relating to the marina.

Maui Mother's Day cruise was wonderful. Had a 4 piece band playing. This trip made for a wonderful Mother's Day. Felt like finally a normal activity. Loved it.

Just another filthy broken down marina with toxic restrooms at gaff-the-tourrist prices.

I'm happy that I decided to visit the marina before sailing south to Boston from Salem. Has everything I need and its not over run crowded but it is mid Nov. Nice and kept up
