I literally have no luck with this place and filling prescriptions. now my doctor is on vacation and can't even see my request until my prescription is empty and there's nothing they can do because of their awful computer system they keep "updating". not really an issue as I can call tomorrow and make the request again since the "updated" computer system can't seem.to hang on to a request for more than a business day but hey we're only forced to use these guys right?

I can honestly say I’ve never experienced a worse pharmacy then Outer Cape pharmacy in Wellfleet. I’m not one to leave bad reviews but after countless negative experiences I felt it was necessary.

The staff is friendly but they are horribly overpriced even for the Cape. Inventory is kept to a minimum as well.

The pharmacy is ridiculous. I had a prescription filled a month prior at a cost of $34 which is triple the cost that I normally pay for the medication. They don't discount the medication through goodrx. Approximately 28 days later I dropped off the same prescription to be filled and was charged almost $60.00 for the same medication less then 30 days later. Staff are clueless..with the exception of Maggie ...I referred my mother to the pharmacy to have her medication filled..big mistake she has Insurance through the military and they had an issue filling her prescription for the 90 days. In addition, she was charged an astronomical price for a 30 day supply. She paid for the medication for the simple fact she had to have it. They should just close the doors...one issue after another with them..system down, rude, unprofessional staff, over charging customers. Jeez...

When first opened, I had less than great dealings with this pharmacy--grumpy staff, issues with getting meds in a timely matter--and avoided this location close to home. But during the pandemic, I decided to try them again, rather than driving up to CVS, and was pleasantly surprised. Super helpful and accommodating. Social distancing guidelines in place. A huge plus during these stressful times.

I have been using Outer Cape Pharmacy for about a year now. They are all fantastic there, especially Darren. Would never go back to a big chain pharmacy.

Better than nothing- but not by much A few months back I had a puncture wound and the Outer Cape nurse practitioner at Wellfleet prescribed a common antibiotic, which they'd run out of at the pharmacy, That necessitated a 60-minute round trip to Provincetown to fill the prescription. Recently I ran out of over-the-counter allergy pills and went to Outer Cape where a rather dyspeptic elderly woman at the counter alternated between barking at me and screwing up the debit card transaction. Can't wait for the new CVS to open in Provincetown; Outer Cape Pharmacy will either have to up their game or close their doors.

I have been dealing with this pharmacy for years now and my experience is always the same...unpleasant, unprofessional, and rude. A very nice life long resident in front of me was treated like a 12 year old. Absolutely unacceptable. All new staff should be hired. This treatment is beyond ridiculous. I wish there was negative stars I could give.
