I had previously visited two planet fitness locations which had disappointed me and I chose to take the risk of signing up at this location, and it was a wonderful decision to make. This is definitely such a clean place with such friendly, helpful and polite staff that my congratulations to them and their manager? I highly recommend it makes me want to go every day. Thank you ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️+

Amazing staff, cleanest PF I've been to. They really take great care of this place including updating all the machines and handles that go along with it. When a machine is broken, it's fixed within a reasonable time frame.
My only complaint is the water pressure on the fountains on floor 2.

Gym is fine. Staff is pleasant. Management is MIA. Have been chasing them for three weeks regarding a billing issue and can’t be bothered to return my calls.
Note - if you have two forms of payment on the app, it may not be enough to prevent shady late payment charges or them running your card for $100 in a single month all without notice.
*follow-up - two months since I posted and despite the comment below still no response from the owner. Had to cancel my membership and dispute charges with my cc instead of working out what was probably system glitch. Unfortunate but be warned if you consider this giving this location your business.
On a positive note, every member of the staff was very emphatic and responsive… just not the owner ?

Changing the filter for the water dispenser don't cost that much moneys, that could help all your members feeling good and they feel they're welcome with a clean sips of water to drink and safe. Your trainer does it matter has to be screaming so loud and trying to get more attention while he training people, people not that stupid they can see or watch, they just know you're the trainer, with out that screaming, people will respecting you more. Woman manager could guide your staff to check around and refill sprays and paper towels, not just standing there for the looks. Saturday and Sunday that boy and girl staff they always doing good jobs, we could tell they care about the place they work. Reason I write for this, only because I care about good business. for now 3 stars and only does little more could doing a 5 stars place.

Have had a really good experience at this PF since I joined over 2 years ago. Always very clean & friendly staff. I do wish they would get the hip thrust machine that a lot of Planet Fitness gyms seem to be getting. Hopefully soon!!

The planet Fitness in West Roxbury cancelled my $10 membership and signed me up for a $25 black card membership with out my approval. I find this very suspect. I'd post 0 stars if I could.

Here on a Monday at 3pm. Shopping for a new home gym. Staff behind the front desk lacking professional behavior. Talking loudly of some friend who is "pussy whipped" and dropping the f bomb a bunch. Probably it doesn't matter-- maybe all planet fitnesses are staffed by young people with not much training. But still-- would prefer not to hear this kind of thing. This gym needs a weight bench near the smaller hand weights. There is no choice but to improvise a pseudo weight bench (grab a seat on a machine intended for other uses) or carry the 8 pound weights to the weight benches one flight up.

Some of the machines are broken or bad working parts but don’t get fixed it seems. Hours doesn’t seem consistent with the hours posted on official site. As an example, it says Independence Day has regular hours but they put a piece of paper on the door saying it’s until 1pm.

Great gym, staff are courteous. A lot of the negative reviews I read for entertainment. One guy taking pictures of the soap and stains, and then following up. Get a life, stop trashing this place.

Manager has told me repeatedly she will take care of an issue and doesn’t do it. I’ve gone to another club for help. Luckily that manager is reaching out to corporate. In the meantime I am looking for a new gym to join and will be ending my contract with planet fitness. Not worth being lied to.
